Awesome concept - the interior is so unique and fun. Nothing like normal mini golf. Loved that there was a bar and restaurant in the center with the different courses surrounding it. The design of the games were honestly very impressive and a blast to play. Lots of fun twists to keep things exciting. Biggest complaint is that parking is very tricky (I would uber if you dont want to pay $20 for a parking garage) and the games are a a bit overpriced for what you get. The bathrooms were also pretty dirty when I visited. Otherwise, it was a fun experience. Not sure I would do it again but it was super fun to do once! read more

Technical disaster. They should not be open... we wasted an hour singling up in their system over 5 times. Zero communication between staff. Bartender was rude af.. Played one course for 7 mins. Tried to play another course and the problems started all over again. Ended up waking out having played for 7 mins with my daughters and spent over $40 for one round of tiny tiny putt putt courses. Fun time at this indoor themed miniature golf venue. They have several courses, each with nine holes. I recommend playing two different courses. Love the atmosphere here. The game is awesome & love how the ball keeps track of your score. My group loved it. The food was good & bad. Our lettuce wraps came out wilted & the meat tasted old. The flat breads are good & so is the buffalo chicken dip. Our server lissi was nice although the runner was extremely rude and gave us major attitude for absolutely no reason rolling her eyes the whole time like she didn't want to be there. Cool concept but their is no real structure. Making an appointment usually means you reserve a time slot but instead we were jumbled with a huge party. Had to wait in line to play in all the games. Good fun place to play mini golf. Been to several places in Houston but this place has several interesting courses. Only downside is that 9 holes go by too quickly, and they tend to be solidly booked so there's little to no chance of booking a secondary game right after. You do have to make a reservation beforehand and adding in additional players can be difficult depending on how busy they are. They do have waitstaff walking around taking drink orders so you can order and drink while on the course. If you want to dine there after the game it does appear that reservations are necessary since every vacant table has a reserved sign. Food is alright, nothing spectacular read more

Visited Puttshack for the first time based on a friend's suggestion and it was a nice. Entry was on the side of the building facing San Jacinto, the front doors on McKinney, where it looks like you would enter- were locked without signage to go around- good thing we kept looking for another way in!!! Once in, you walk up the stairs or take the elevator and you're in! They have these tablets for you to use to purchase your plans to play and even reserve a table for food. The staff at the entrance are also very professional and so helpful as the tablets don't quite cover it all. I thought it was weird that all of the tables had reserved signs on them because I guess they want you to check in with them, this was a slow Tuesday and the place was not bought-out or busy at all! Puttshack is such a nice space and venue, the full bar is beautiful, and it's all very well maintained and clean. There are also private rooms available for those that want a more secluded scene. This is a great place for a corporate group outing, fun with friends/family, and a great date spot- friendly and doable competition! I enjoyed my food, I tried the Korean BBQ Bao Buns they were perfect! The menu has an Asian Fusion vibe and I love that! The menu has a good amount of other food options for those wanting something more basic and honestly it's a healthier menu for a bar-type scene which is a plus! You won't have trouble finding a good beer, wine, or a cocktail from the bar, the putting areas have small high top tables for you to sit your drink on as you walk and play. It is family friendly but after 7 or so it more so turns into 21 and up, so like after 7 you can't purchase passes for minors- and to me it's for bigger kids, around 8 years old or so and up, not the scene for toddlers or anything like that! Great place for a night out with friends or date night. We arrived and were told downstairs that they were all booked. We decided to go ahead and go up and grab a drink. As we got upstairs a gentleman helped us and assisted us in getting a game started and get a reservation. We were able to check in and buy a game and he let us choose any course and we did the Amber one. We grabbed some drinks from the bar which were really great. The peach tea and Hennessy island were really good but the best drinks we had were the pb&j shot and the jolly rancher shot. We went to the game area which lasted about 45 minutes and was super fun the games are interactive and will keep you entertained. Then we went to our reservation and had the smokin' painkiller and top shelf margarita which were definitely too strong but good. The food left much to be desired. The empanadas were full of potatoes and not much else. The bbq baos were a sweet bbq taste and were just not great. The waitress was not friendly at all and took 15 minutes to take our order. After she brought our drinks and apps we were glad we didn't order more food. I would definitely come back but only for the drinks and games. read more

Each putting hole has a different challenge that is fun to complete. 1 game is 9 holes and you play in one small area. My friend and I completed 2 games in less than 40min. This is not a place that you come spend hours playing, more of a quick stop unless you're with a big group. read more

We heard about puttshack through Instagram. We were very excited to try this place with our family and friends so we booked our time. Fair pricing to book game time and we also reserved a table. The game time was fun. We had some small kids so we kind of had to take turns. I don't recommend for preschool and younger. The course was fun, it had some kinks to work out for one of the games. But I'm not complaining because every one was very helpful. Now for my favorite part, the food and drinks. The drinks were good I like my whiskey sour strong, though this one was a little less than expected. The food was delicious. Kids had flatbread and chicken tenders. The sauce on the flatbread was freshly made and you can taste it. The batter on the chicken strips was so good you don't need to dip it in ketchup. We had the Texas tailpipes.... Just wow delicious!! I will say that i was expecting a little bigger or thicker if not add one more!! The Korean bao buns were so savory, the buns soooo fluffy. We also had the screwball cookie skillet!! We went there twice, the first time our experience was a 7/10 because we had fun and the bartender that day was nice but the waitress who was supposed to take our order took 20mins and the other waitress asked her if she's going to take our order but she looked at us and the lady and left. The food was good in my opinion though. The second time the bartender (different one) barely looked our way was focusing on the others and gave my fiancé an attitude. Ok where do I start, me and my family went in a Saturday night to celebrate my cousin birthday. The atmosphere was awesome, Great Dj on duty. Once we finally got a table, and received our Hennessy Island drinks, they were horrible. I took 3 small sips and mines immediately gave me heartburn and made me feel like I was going to be sick. My cousins drink had so much Hennessy in it on top she was able to put it, into her water glass to dilute it and drink it that way. Our server was doing the best he could, But somehow our food was given to another table and took over an 1and 30 minutes to receive it. Showed up with reservation and was helped immediately. We wanted to get a cocktail (it was an hour and a half before closing time) and the bartender was serving drinks but refused us a drink because it was "last call" even though we clearly could see people being served around us. We shrugged it off and was excited to play putt putt. The first few holes were interesting and a lot of fun, until my ball wouldn't work on a hole twice and still I never got any points even after replacing the ball and trying the hole again and again. So we shrugged it off again and went to the next hole, my man's ball got stuck in super hole and we asked for a replacement from one of the workers... minutes went by and we gave up and gave the one ball we had left and the putters back and the worker said "oh I'm sorry I forgot" Needless to say we won't be coming back and this place won't last long- the holes and balls don't work- the workers don't care about the service or giving people a good experience. Bouncer is rude and turns you away if you don't have any ID after 7:30pm. They denied my mother entry, which by the way, she's in her 50s. I was told no one onsite could provide customer service or assistance with other options and I was not refunded at all. Be prepared to pay for parking as well. I visited last week and when walking in your immediately greeted in the downstairs area. They check if you have a reservation then your sent upstairs to the check in. We went to the bar before playing and was helped by Cameron. She was amazing!! We tried a pornstar martini and Hennessy which is what she suggested & the drinks here are tasty! I also had her made a drink of her choice & im not sure what she put in it but it was good! We played the game & had more drinks. The game is so much better than other mini golf spots in houston. Its very creative. We tried the food as well, i believe my husband had one of the flatbreads and i tried the hot chicken sandwich which was good. Great customer service all around. The flavors would blow your mind. Nothing was overly sweet or too terribly strong! Her customer service was bar none and I cannot reccomend you all go see her enough! The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. From the first bite to the last you can tell everything is made from scratch with the upmost attention and love.
