It's great Par 3 course! I wish a cart girl would come around. Nearest cart location is on hole 7. Food is also good and the vibes are great.

East River 9 is a nice, outdoorsy establishment that offers Pickleball and Golf. For our visit, we opted for the Pickleball experience, which may require a reservation to ensure that you have an opportunity to play depending on the time of day and weather. From my friend's prior experience (with East River 9 being booked and busy) she made a two hour reservation in advance for our Pickleball session. Unfortunately, we came at time when it was prime time heat time (at least it sure did feel like it) on a Saturday (which I definitely wouldn't recommend), however, we still had a grand time. As it pertains to cost, the two hour session was about $85, which was approximately $21 (if you have four people) per person. One thing to note is that East River 9 also allows for you to rent paddles and balls for about $7, in the event that you don't own paddles or balls. The court is fairly nice and there is a covered seating area with fans that is close to the court. Additionally, they have water coolers strategically placed outside. There is also a restaurant a few steps away from the court (disclaimer, I didn't have the opportunity to try the food here). To sum it all up, a goodT, active time was had here!

Great get a way for lunch. A quick 9 hole walking course. It's takes about an 1.5 hours. The restaurant is nice. Yo try the fish tacos. The margarita is awesome

Tried this spot for the first time on a Sunday. It's very spacious inside with amazing views or downtown. This location offers a gold course available for booking. There is also both indoor and outdoor seating available. I ordered the shrimp Po boy. It didn't not come with the corn relish topping as pictured so I had to ask my waiter to bring it. That was a bummer that it was left off. Besides that factor, the poboy was very flavorful

Perfect combo of Pickleball and food. This facility has several outdoor pickleball courts, a golf course and a gift shop. The staff is friendly and it's a nice place to get a few games in of whatever you like to play and then wrap the day up with good food and drinks. The on-site restaurant has both an indoor and outdoor seating area and superb food. The service was so so, but we didn't have a large group, so perhaps that slowed things down more than usual. Besides that no complaints and I would recommend reserving a court for a round of pickleball and some food.

I came here to play pickle ball with my family and friends, and it was such a great time. There are several courts that you can reserve ahead of time and you can bring your own balls and paddles or rent them if you don't have any. They have lights you can play at night or during the day. The skyline is Houston is so gorgeous to watch as you play pickle ball. It's nice that they have a restaurant at the golf course as well for drinks and food. I had a great time playing pickle ball here and while I haven't played golf, I'm sure it would also be a great time.

Pickleball is America's newest pastime and I'm on the train baby, choo choo. I've been playing since last summer and really enjoyed it, but my friends weren't super interested YET but now they're starting to come around. You'd be surprised but I'm actually very competitive and although I'm not a pro, it's a fun recreational sport I'm decent at! I like the sport of pickle. East River 9 is beeeeautiful. Like stunnin'. I don't play golf but if I did I feel like this would be the place? It's a 9 hole course. Ummmmmmm-- based on my limited knowledge that's shorter than a regular course. So fun, easy, quick time. That's good, efficient! Bonus there is a lot of people here. Variations of people. Major eye candy. We booked online for a 7pm court but got there and supposedly the computers were being weird idk, but luckily we were able to get a court still. You go into the Pro Shop, btw. It's $40 for an hour of play. If you're playing doubles that's an easy $10/pp. With Houston's limited courts *in the loop* it seems like that's the best ima get. Some parks are converting their tennis courts but Houston feels like it's behind. I digress, this was really fun. Great little sports action. Everyone around us was lovely and when the next group of people were ready to use the court we gathered our things and left them to it. Honor system I guess There's a restaurant also at East River. Very smart move on their part. Made for good post-game beers, didn't try any food. 4/5 just because there's still seems to be kinks in their booking system and it's not super clear where you're supposed to go check in once arriving etc.

Nestled in the heart of EaDo is this fun lil place. There's plenty of free parking. You walk up and to the left is the restaurant/bar and to the right is the pro shop. We came to check out the restaurant, ordered the nachos which is a new item on the menu. The nachos are deliscious, light crispy chips with melted cheese and chicken and brisket. We also ordered the blackened red snapper tacos, which were light and tasty. Food is really good but a lil pricey. Happy hour until 7pm included $3 beer of the day and $6 margaritas. Would like to return to try out their Crawfish which is offered after 2pm an Saturday and Sunday. Would also like to return for some golfing.

A chill spot to come with a group, enjoy the view of Houston's downtown skyscrapers, hit the golf ball or play pickleball. Had our gym Christmas gathering here and enjoyed the service and atmosphere of East River 9. The lemon pepper wings were a little greasy but had a very good flavor and was fried to perfection. My only complaint is the infused old fashion drink. Which was an old fashion with the ball of ice infused with the Orange and walnut bitters. My friend and I ordered one and my drink was barely half way filled while hers was almost filled more than half way.

You check in upstairs and go through a brief tutorial. The technology tracks each stroke so you don't have to keep score and it's more difficult to cheat. You can also play the holes out of order if there's a big group in front of you. Each hole has a difficult obstacle that earns your bonus points. It's nice to be inside especially during the Houston summer. The game goes fairly quickly. The game play is accessible for a wide variety from family fun to corporate group outings to date night. Overall it's a fun concept with decent food. Downtown parking might be tricky. Apparently they validate parking so maybe it's not so bad.

We loved all the challenging holes. The decor was colorful. The food was amazing! I loved the Texas Tailpipes, Korean BBQ Bao Buns, and Atlanta Hot Sandwich. I will say the table reservation was interesting. They have a lot of tables labeled reserved but no one is sitting there. I tried to ask a waitress about my table and said you have to reserve one and ran away. She didn't even let me finish my sentence. I asked another waitress and she listened to me and found my reservation and apologized for the other waitress' behavior. The manager did come by to give us some great service so we ended the night on a good note.

When we approached the desk, we were told we'd get a text when our section was ready. When we settled in, our waitress came over with some menus and walked us through the process. Service was great until you order food. The food takes forever to come. Waitress tries to be accommodating but in the end it's not their fault, the kitchen needs to get their act together. Booked 2 bays and supposed to come with a 100$ free food credit, until you get there and they say the promo on their Site was a mistake and they tried to get corporate to fix it, only when you threat that it's false advertising they get the manager to explain the situation. Manager was accommodating and honored the advertised promo originally booked. Corporate needs to proof read their website before posting it. The bay we were in was like built for a 3rd world country. Floors sticky, couches feel like they havent been deep cleaned since the place opened. When you wave your club for the ball to come out, it rolls around the base to the next bay. The tee was like a worn down straw that's been there since opening, never replaced. Had to balance my golf ball like playing a balancing act. The last food order my group was waiting on didn't come untill our playtime was up. The Manager gave us free 15 minutes to basically stuff ourselves or pack it to go. We even specifically told them to pack it to go since we knew it was not going to be enough time to eat. We placed our order about 20 minutes prior. This probably the worst top golf I've been to in the nation, they really gotta get their act together. Security in the parking lot patroling, guess thats good to deter car break ins, but that also gives you a hint how the hood is.
