Not to be confused with the Mammarial Pork Golf Course, which is named after a b**b job essentially. Very popular and very busy golf course, too busy really, but considering this is a public course it's pretty excellent. It might actually be one of the best public courses in all of Texas, so if you're into Golf come and check it out. Very impressive indeed. Because it's so good and because it is public and because it's in the heart of the fourth biggest city in the country then you can expect overcrowding and such but it's still good for golf fans.

It's a public course so you shouldn't expect the greenest greens and cleanest fairways. The price for 1 + 1/2 of a cart is $49 which is pretty steep. You can go anytime during the day and play but expect to wait. Can get crowded at times. My average wait is around 30 mins or so.

Caught in the rain, the covers dont help much when it's pouring.

The course is always an enjoyable play when in Houston. Well kept and the water coolers were full!

I enjoyed playing here. For a municipal course, it is in relatively good condition. Plenty of bunkers throughout for a challenge.

The tee time app is new, so that may be off putting for some, but has made my life so much easier getting a tee time.

Fast forward to now, when I renewed my ClassPass for a month trial, RYDE was the very first class I booked because it was my favorite. I've tried other cycling establishments, but RYDE reigns superior. The studio is clean and modern. And the bathrooms are equipped with everything a girl will need, and they have Aesop soap! That's all that I need to say. I am a regular rock climber, but once I phase out of that, I can definitely see myself being a RYDE regular. The classes are high-energy, and the instructors are fantastic at keeping you motivated. I thoroughly enjoyed my classes with Gustavo and Leon. If you are on the fence about giving cycling here a chance, please do yourself a favor and try it out. It is like a party, but you're putting your energy into biking. I'm not sure when I will be back because I currently cannot justify paying almost $300 a month for a membership, but I look forward to my next visit to RYDE!

I've taken multiple teachers, and all have been great. Be warned, this is the type of cycling class where you'll be doing arm choreography, but that's what makes it so fun! It's a really clean space, and the room is dark, so you don't have to worry about all eyes being on you. I wouldn't say it's easy for beginners, but you can always adjust to your needs.
