If you're looking to tweak your swing, he can help. If you are a beginner looking to confidently play a full round within the next couple weeks, this may not be the route for you. Or it could be - it seems as a complete beginner, this game takes time to build the skills necessary to effectively practice. But if you are going to commit to becoming a better golfer, I can guarantee that you will leave from your first lesson with a new mindset, a solid grip, and an understanding of stance, posture, alignment. And, if you're a noob like me, you'll start hitting the ball with confidence.

Sadly, I played here recently (for the first time in years) and it's in pretty horrible condition now. Oddly they seem to have invested in fancy new golf carts (with GPS, etc.) while letting the actual course deteriorate. Every aspect of the course is in unacceptable condition. I believe they also raised their rates. I won't be returning anytime soon and only recommend playing here if you live very close just for the convenience. Hermann Park, Gus Wortham, and Memorial are way better municipal course options even though they cost a little more.

Amazing course but for the price could offer more…read more Course: They have a member course and non-member (tournament) course. We played the tournament course and we're blown away by how gorgeous it was ! There was so much nature and space. The views were amazing and the greens were well maintained. I also loved that they not only had a driving range, but an area to practice various other parts of your game which was amazing! Unfortunately, being so large, the course was a bit confusing and we never saw anyone to ask directions from. A lot of split cart paths didn't have signs and even some of the holes were missing their signs. The carts did have maps but our cart kept getting confused about where on the map it was. This made it challenging for first time visitors. Cost: Compared to other courses, the cost here is pretty high. It was about $110 per person not including cart. For such a high cost I did expect the carts/cart maps to work better and there to be more available on the course (there were no trash cans at holes and no cart girl. There was only 1 place to refresh at hole 10, which is normal but was pretty lack luster). Halfway house: The best part of this was the racoon that hangs there. But don't trust him - he steals everything (probably because he refuses to pay to play a round hineself). He took one of my golf balls right out of the cart. The house has very minimal snacks and drinks. It was quite lack luster and I expected way better from a course like this, especially since no cart girl comes around. Restuarant: They do have a restaurant on site that is quite large. We just got a snack there but the service was very awkward! Overall I'd return to this course because it's just gorgeous but I'd plan a little better as everything is so far apart and snacks/drinks are quite limited on the course. I can only assume the member side has more to offer.

I'm not a member so I've only played on the public "Tournament" course. The course itself is very…read morenice but everything else leaves a lot to be desired. As a single golfer, I showed up 15 minutes prior to my tee time to learn that I'd need to share a cart with someone. That's not a huge deal but kind of tacky for a supposedly high end course charging well over a $100 greens fee. The pro shop then told me I'd have to walk to the starter where the other players already were waiting which was a ~5 minute walk (he supposedly didn't have a cart to give me a ride). By the time I got there I had to rush to meet the other players on the tee box. It's kind of ridiculous that such an expensive course is short on golf carts. Even more pathetic, I heard that they ran out of driving range balls because their retrieval machine was broken. The course itself was in great shape with a decent pace and minimal waiting. However, I was surprised they didn't have a drink/snack cart which even most municipal courses offer. They had a snack shack by the 10th hole with limited options. A place this expensive should have a phone at the beginning of 9th hole to call in a pickup meal order. To summarize, this is a 5 star course with 2 star service. I won't play here again anytime soon unless I find a deal for $75 or less.

I visited Mr Gary today and walked out with a Zen and a pair of comfortable bowling shoes. Mr Gary got my bowling ball drilled in a little less than an hour. The Zen fits perfect and rolls very well. He pays great attention to detail and his well loved by his patrons. Thank you Mr Gary for your excellent customer service and your help with igniting my hobby once again! I do highly recommend him for all your bowling sport needs!

I started visiting Gary in the late 80's when he was still on 1960 and I've ended up using him ever since. I tried a fee other pro's in the area with mixed results. Clean interior and friendly service. Plenty of courts to play on and good community of people that range from beginners to advanced. If you are first time, you need to scan a QR code and fill out a bunch of stuff to join. It was $10 for me to join a 3-6 pm slot (as of Jan 2026). Since the slot was in this sort of increment, you get your best value by coming right at 3:00. I pulled my calf muscle in one of the games and they had ice for me. That was nice. Thank you! There is an area for kids, sort of, but not much to do. It's just an open space that's the size of half a court. It has a few crane machines and chairs to lounge on. I recommend them adding a small play set or bounce house for kids. The parents can then set them loose and have fun. Will definitely be coming back!

However when I walked in at 10am, there were only 2 other folks from my group hitting. The whole facility is brand new and took the spot of "Treasurez 4 Less" previously. It has a golf simulator and a fully stocked bar too. I also saw a private room for parties, a backdrop to take pictures at and a few claw machines. Great for kids and crowds and those who aren't there for pickleball. The courts themselves are pretty standard but there aren't any court dividers, easily having your neighbors balls interrupt your game. Still the courts are very nice. I used the Court Reserve app to register for a spot on open courts. I paid and got my receipt via email but to my surprise, when I checked-in in the morning, the dude said I didn't pay yet. I showed him my receipt via email and let me through. Perhaps this is a problem that hasn't been ironed out yet, and non of my friends had the same problem. I'm glad the guy was gracious and polite about it, but it came as a hiccup that shouldn't have been. If you're super serious about pickleball and care about DUPR and ratings, this place isn't for you. However if you're in it for a good time with friends, with easy access to alcohol and other fun things. This is a nice place to spend a few hours. Pricing is $8 at the time we went, lets hope they're able to keep it up.

This park is absolutely one of the best parks for walking in peace in an atmosphere that screams…read moresafety and relaxation. You do have very little parking yet there is always some space for you. You can walk the entire course which is about 1.5 miles or make the half way track instead. Both options are great views of the lake and plenty of little ducks in full relaxation mode. You even have a few out there doing some catch and release fishing. One extremely great thing they have here is a full disc golf field located within all this track area. I think very few people know about it as I can count the times with one hand that I've seen people out there taking advantage of this extremely nice park. It also has a play area for the kiddos to climb and run around. It's also great for walking your dog with plenty of bins to pick up your poop and dump it. (Why in my head am I now singing, "back it up and dump it"?) This park is always clean so please if you visit, keep it that way. Stay healthy and Prosper!
