They have a chipping area, a bunker practice area, a putting area (in decent condition) and plenty of driving range area! You go inside the main clubhouse, pay for a bucket, go for the golf balls outside and scoop as much as you can inside the bucket! This place is decently priced. But two things bothered me. 1. No driver distance on a Saturday afternoon?! That was silly, I understand having to turn over the grass but come on push the range back on the weekends. the attendant even came out and told the guy next to me to put his away. 2. Been driving by this place for some time now. Finally got my hands on some clubs to give it a try. First off, I've only swung a club a couple times so initially I was intimidated to go anywhere to practice. Staff was very kind when I informed them I've never visited their site and didn't know how the range rules worked. They explained how it worked and also let me know they have clubs that can be rented, too. Essentially, you pay for a small, medium or large basket of balls, pick an open spot to hit balls and just enjoy. No time limit and you can probably spend a couple hours hitting balls for under $20. My son and I took turns sharing an $18 basket. I was referred this place by one of my friends. I went on a Saturday and it seemed to be full but after further review there were a few empty spots. They sit off the road quite a bit so if you miss the small sign you can pass them up. You go into the office to pay and you are given a basket based on the amount of balls you want to hit. Then you go out the door and there is a huge bin full of balls and you fill up your basket. The range is a range so there isn't a standard for up keep but I thought it was OK. They also have a putting range for those that need it. The price is more than fair so I will be returning to get my practice in. read more

Came here on a Saturday during father's day weekend and it wasn't as busy as I thought it was. I came with a total of 4 people including myself with a bucket of balls for $18. There must've been like 200 balls. We were here for at least 2.5 hours!! $18 for 4 people playing is a great night! We brought our own clubs. The weather was perfect and the greenery was nicely laid out. I will be back!! Great time for those practicing or newbies. read more

Came in many occasions and always consistent service in getting golf balls for the range. It can get busy during peak hours (right after it is hot) and you May have to wait, but you can get on the range pretty quick in my opinion. Staff follows covid procedures when paying and getting supplies for golfing. Each bay is separated accordingly (as should with the game itself). You can purchase different sizes of the amount of ball you want to hit. There are no chairs but you can bring your own if you are with a friend or need a mini break. This range is convenient and a way to hit balls and work on your game but the upkeep is lacking. To me it seems like the money is being spent elsewhere instead of putting it back into the business. No true putting green and grass is hit or miss, last time I was there it was like hitting out of the sand on every shot. People love to hit balls and play golf especially with the times we are in. We actually tried to go to TopGolf first, but there was an hour and a half wait. TopGolf, if you don't know, is this monstrosity of a high-tech, state-of-the-art golf game facility with automated everything, flatscreens, food, a full bar, all kinds of staff to do your bidding and anything you could ever dream of. This place is pretty much the exact opposite of that. Super Golf Range is a barebones, low-tech driving range. The stalls are just divided squares of grass. It's $8 for a large bucket of balls, and they don't come out of any kind of dispenser...you scoop them out of a bin by hand. Yeah, you could take as many as you want, but you're on the honor system, so don't be a dick. They do nickel and dime you a bit for things; it's $1 to rent a club, $1 for a small bag of tees, etc. But they've got to make a living too, and at least it's not $40 an hour for the space. It's true, Tthere are no burgers available, there are no signature bloody Marys in mason jars, and no TVs for you to watch football while you hit. But it gets the job done. read more

This place takes me back to the distant days of serenity in my local neighbourhood driving range where you are part of the urban environment, squashed in between a church and a subdivision with a tiny, paved, obscure driveway inviting stray balls through gaping holes in an ancient net that straddles it on the drive up. Honestly, I've driven by here many times without noticing. And that's why it's perfect. It has thrived (ok, survived) all these years because of this simplicity and stability, just oldschool, not 'over the top' (you see what I did there?). I feel right at home: no intimidating, towering, overpriced and oversold castle serving cocktails with tiny umbrellas, blasting air conditioning and entertainment I don't need, catering suits in Mercedes with their names on their bags. It's just blue-collared grass, balls and sticks, with mostly a bunch of other hacks like me, making me feel better about my over-the-top, off the toe push-slice with a falling-back-off-balanced follow through. This is where we come to relax and truly enjoy ourselves. It feels like time stands still here, no pressures or worries. No club guy yelling to 'move along', 'I'm on the clock' or 'don't do that' or giving me dirty, suspicious looks. Just quality time with nature because this place is huge and you can spread out. I was there when 20 other people were and I still didn't have another person within 2 spaces. No one even glanced when I shanked a ball parallel to the line towards the infamous holy net, luckily no cars were driving by. But no one cares, in fact they all expect rust, and I love that. Also, I like the chipping green, a Pinehurst no12 looking turtle-back elevated green with a sad bunker that might as well be a 'waste area'. But there were a million and one short game shots you could work on with all those slopes and tight lies. And of course there was a pin and a hole, of which you'll understand my relief next: I'm not sure if it's because it's winter but the putting greens next to the chipping area were overgrown. Seems like they could've mowed tight and used them with the warm weather lately. But that's a question I can ask next time I go. If it weren't for my baby getting anxious I would've practiced some bump n runs, flops and a few low checkers at dusk. It's the sort of place you can do all that and not feel terrible about messing up pristine grass etc. But I large bucket of balls for only 8$ in 2016, talk about oldschool, that's literally what I used to pay two decades ago! I will be back here next time for that price alone! So while it may not be Augusta, it has just what one needs to practice, and that's it, and they do it with pride. read more

This place is fine to practice in the range and maybe chipping. The greens are pretty bad but the rest is good enough to get some reps.

I go here at least 2x a week. Can't beat the price! I get a Jumbo bucket which maybe has 170-200 balls. I usually spend 1.5 hours. The grass is growing on sand so when you start making divots, just hope the wind isn't blowing back into you. read more

This is a nicely offset, well shielded (at least to the side) range. Balls are reasonable (buy 1 get 1 free Mo-Fri) and fairly busy. They have a repair shop and clubs you can rent, as well as assorted items for purchase. Overall this was a great find, quiet, reasonably priced and only a short hop away from Katy. I really like this range. The practice balls are cheap compared to other ranges ($10 for large basket) the balls are in good shape and not completely worn out, and the tee area is level with adequate grass. There are mats in a covered tee area for those extra hot days. The staff is courteous and helpful and there is a good size practice chipping area. read more

I am an avid golfer and I practice weekly at various locations. I go to many driving ranges and several years ago I visited this facility and was not very impressed, however things have obviously changed. Super golf has a very good groundskeeper that does a fantastic job with making sure that the grass is in the same condition as you would see when you go to play a round of real golf. That is one sign that you want to find in a driving range... couple that with a putting green... and a chipping area and a wonderful 2 for 1 price before noon on buckets of balls and you have a wonderful facility. It doesn't look great from the road and it looks disheveled as you're driving up alongside the net but once you get there it is super no nonsense and there are always plenty of bays for you to practice your golf swing. I have been to Super Golf Range multiple times over the last few months. After experimenting with other ranges, I always come back. This is the perfect place to learn to golf or fine tune your game. They recently got brand new range balls (not Titleist or anything) and their grass is always in good shape. Prices are excellent and everyone is very friendly. Decent driving range. $8 for a large bucket (about 100 balls). It's your basic driving range. They only use the astro turf pads when it rains, otherwise it's the grass, and it can show during heavy use. Lots of spots to hit from though, and even on a 70 Saturday there was plenty of space. Probably the worst part thing here is the putting greens. Those are pretty much a joke. Dead grass and the cup sticks up over the grass so it's useless to really try to putt. I went to this cow pasture last weekend. The place is a dump and the staff is very rude. I can deal with some sparse grass, but the golf balls were terrible. Some of the golf balls (50%) did not have dimples. The short game area was a joke. The "putting green" surface was about as smooth as the surface of the moon. I was there with a friend while he took a lesson from one of the pros. He told me it was the worst lesson he'd ever taken. My friend is a decent golfer, but is a senior and the pro was trying to rebuild his swing. We were driving by the range the other night on the weekend on Barker Cypress. My vehicle was hit by a stray golf ball and it dented the side panel and has the residue of the golf ball. I called them to inform them and they said nothing could be done since they have no clue who hit the ball. Even thought they have nets on the sides, my suggestion would be to have nets at the street side to avoid hitting cars.
