They also had monkeys, a petting zoo, flamingos, exotic birds, penguins.... I might have missed some there were just so many. The kids arcade was cool because it's essentially free play. There was also a bowling alley and it looked like a water slide but it was closed that day. Tennis courts everywhere and pickleball courts too. I didn't see the gym. The food they offered wasn't the greatest for how much they charge but I didn't pay for anything so maybe it was just the food that they provided that was mediocre. We did ask the staff to cook the pizza some more as it was kind of undercooked and doughy and the staff was extremely nice and didn't have a problem helping us out. I spoke to one of the members while I was relaxing in the patio area and he was telling me about all of the events for members that are free with the membership. Really cool place.

I am back to write again about the horrible state of the women's locker room. The entire women's…read morelocker room should be condemned. Almost every single shower is lined with mold. The vents are lined with mold. Most of the lockers rarely work. The carpet may be from when they opened. It's super matted, stained and disgusting. To top it off the sign for westside is dirty. They do an amazing job taking care of all the animals. Matter a fact the animals enclosure are cleaned daily but and they even got new penguins. But they have yet to even redo the women's locker room. To add the indoor hot tub, cold plunge area was redone but is rarely cleaned. There is still grime around the poles and it's generally sopping wet in there with hairs and dirt everywhere. It's unhygienic and unsanitary. Westside please do better. The gym has everything you need. However as far as maintenance of areas and cleanliness it's a 1-Star. Who what's yoninhsle mood while showering. And the cold plunge and hot tub area/pools still reeks of mold. So they may have redone the area but whatever they did did not remove the mold smell that sticks to your body when utilizing the indoor hot tub and indoor cold plunge. Maybe it needs new piping and better extreme ventilation.

Stay away from this tennis club (I would rate zero if there was one). They will just take your…read moremoney and do nothing. This club is horrendous. The staff is absolutely unprofessional, and they cannot get anything done. They don't talk to each other. Todd Whitley, the Director there is a joke. He says he will do certain things three times, and never get it done. My daughter played in a USTA event hosted by this club. She won the tournament, but they didn't have enough trophies. Todd said he would ship the trophy, so I left my mailing address to his email and on a sticky note on his desk. Two weeks later I called to follow up only to hear him say that they just got the trophy ready. He says "I have the trophy right here, and I have your address here as well. I will ship it right away. You will have it in a few days." One week later, the trophy has not arrived. I emailed Todd, and no response. I intend to write to USTA to have them look into this poor handling. They shouldn't be hosting any USTA or UTR events with this level of organization as they have no idea what they are doing. At all cost, I would stay away from this tennis club.

I've only been once so I can only speak to what I experienced. Clean smaller fitness floor with most of standard Life Time equipment but lacking heavy weight equipment and a couple machines of regular size Life Times. Fitness area was not busy when I went Friday morning at 8am and seemed the fitness center was used by people after playing tennis rather than regular gym goers. I appreciate no trainers taking up space like in most Life Times in New York! Definitely worth visiting if visitor since much better than a hotel gym. A number of lounge areas one would expect in an upscale tennis center. Would love to play tennis next time.

Just recently visited the Lifetime location located inside the Houston Galleria Mall and to start I…read morewill say the location is not the easiest to find. To find it the quickest way is to input 5100 W Alabama St in your GPS where it will take you to the Orange Garage of the Galleria. From there you'll eventually start to see barely visible signage directing you where to park (Level 3). The official name of this location is Lifetime Galleria Tennis and it's considered a Diamond Level location. I called ahead of time to see if they had other gym amenities besides the tennis courts and they said they do have a workout area with weights and cardio machines but it's not at the same capacity as a traditional Lifetime gym. I decided to check it out anyway and the facility is about 90% tennis courts and 10% workout floor. The workout floor is extremely limited. There's only a few machines for lifting, I think I counted 4 treadmills and 4 stair masters. I was surprised at how small the place was. But the tennis courts are massive. I think this used to be owned by a different gym and rebranded into a Lifetime Fitness because I know for a fact this location hasn't been here for that long. I'm a bit disappointed on the upkeep of the facility. It doesn't feel like a Lifetime Fitness, it feels like an old dungeon. The renovations that were made to turn this place into a Lifetime Fitness seem very sloppy. There is no pool. No studios for workout classes. But there is a LifeCafe. If you just want to play tennis it's a decent place. But my first impressions weren't great. For $279 a month, I don't think this is worth labeling as a Diamond Level location. The staff is very friendly though, I'll give them that.
