For the price this is a great park. Relatively newly remodeled this course has really nice greens. Challenging course the first hole has a dog leg left but really fun course.

Always a difficult course. Greens were super fast. Fun times. Easy to walk, and they provide push carts if you want.

Course is in amazing shape, and arguably the best rolling greens in Houston. Would never hesitate to play here.

Great layout with difficult greens, but no grass in the fairways. The 19th hole has a good menu.

We had a large group and he was so attentive, kept checking on us, made sure everyone was taken care of, and handled our table like a pro. The food was good, the drinks were good, and the atmosphere was even better. It's great for a fun night out, birthday celebration, girls' night, or just somewhere to go when you want to do more than sit at a restaurant. Definitely had a good time and would come back!

Playing Putt-Putt is Fun, BUT the Service is Terrible!…read more The ambiance can be great, especially when you're there with friends or family--just don't count on the food service to match! We brought our kids for a fun evening of putt-putt, and simply trying to get someone to take our order seemed like a joke. We were casually told to order at the bar, even though we were just trying to get desserts and drinks for the kids. Eventually, a waiter was assigned to us, but even asking for straws seemed to bother him. Then he disappeared and never came back! The kids still had fun, and the atmosphere was enjoyable, but the service really took away from the experience. The place has a lot of potential--hopefully the customer service improves!

This summer…read morehas been brutally hot and I could not imagine playing putt putt golf outdoors, and I'm happy to know that the Puttery is a place where you can escape the heat and enjoy some great food and drinks. The building is quite large and parking is a little tricky. I drove through the main parking lot and exited behind the building to find a large paid parking lot that the Puttery will validate for you. The decor is classy and thoughtful and the employee at the register was friendly and informative. My party decided to eat dinner before golfing and the waitress was upbeat and seated us promptly. The food and drinks were quite delicious! The spicy tuna crispy rice had nicely seasoned tuna and paired perfectly with the crispy rice. The rice itself was a tad too sweet for my liking. The brisket jalapeño spring rolls were different and I enjoyed the combination of brisket and the smooth cream cheese. The elote style corn ribs were nicely presented and I've never had corn ribs elote style before. The pizza was pretty good but I wish the toppings were more plentiful. The short rib was tender and flavorful and I liked the pairing with the peppery arugula. The courses were super thoughtfully planned out and I appreciated the different themes in each section. The attention to detail was very obvious and I enjoyed going through the courses. My diagnosis: wonderful destination for indoor putt putt and yummy food.

Awesome experience at Puttery! It was my first time, and I randomly went with my wife and a friend…read moreon a Tuesday evening with a 6:15 pm reservation. Due to traffic we ended up arriving closer to 6:30 pm but it was no problem. Because it was a Tuesday, the crowds were light. I bet it can get crowded on the weekends because it's such a cool place. We got our wrist bands and proceeded upstairs where there is a lot of restaurant seating and a bar. We decided to eat before playing and that ended up being a great decision. The food and drink were quite good! I had a Sam Adams IPA draft - perfect! The elote corn ribs, spring rolls, tuna with crispy rice, and short rib pizza were all excellent! The waitress recommended the elote corn and short rib pizza so we went with those plus a few other options. Temperature and texture and flavor of all the food items were on point. Now on to mini golf. The place has two sets of 9 hole areas. The holes get progressively harder. You keep score via an iPad at each hole. Overall, the most impressive part was the decor. It's obvious they spent a lot of money on the decor (and the place is just huge) and they've maintained the place quite well so far. Now you're probably thinking "fun place off Washington? I bet parking sucks." There is actually a huge parking just north of the Puttery building and the parking is validated by Puttery! It's like a dream come true. :) If you're looking for a fun date place or a group hang out, check this place out!

The only thing holding me back from giving this course 5 stars is that there's not really much…read morescenery to this track. The designers of this course recently went in and updated the layout a few years ago to make it more challenging for the pros who play here during the Houston Open. And because it hosts the local PGA tour, it means that this place is very busy. They shut the course down on Tuesdays to let it recover because it's so busy. There is no shortage of business for this place. Please be in the right frame of mind when coming to play here. This is one of busiest public municipal golf courses in the country. They have the luxury to show a dearth of empathy regarding your tee time because they are so busy. There are 10 players lined up on the wait list ready to pounce on the next opening. You will not be missed if you come here and act like a demanding jerk then get yourself kicked out. I shouldn't have to say this, but be nice. They don't care how much you paid and neither does anyone else. That being said, the clubhouse staff here is wonderful and will do their best to accommodate you, within reason. The marshals here tend to be on the aggressive side. I will never understand why they act the way they do. Just don't start anything with these guys, I've seen them threaten to kick people out several times for minor things, so beware. The price to play here is dependent on whether or not you live in Houston. Local residents will receive a steep discount vs those living outside the boundary line. Check the website for the most up to date information on that subject. My tip for those that want to play here is to show up solo and get on the standby list. There are those who would also suggest to book online, but the prime tee times get swallowed up pretty quickly and are near impossible to get. Also important to know is that the parking lot here is a paid parking lot. You'll need to interact with the parking ticket kiosk to get a stub and place it on your dashboard or you could use the ParkMobile app if you'd rather go that route. The local parking enforcement is strict and they actively roam the area 7 days a week. Sunday is no exception. The layout is brutal. You will struggle. There's not many places to lose balls. Not a lot of bunkers or water hazards in the latest re design either. But that doesn't mean this course is easy. They've got several "domed" greens to litter your scorecard with snowmen and some brutally long par 4's so you can hit your 3 wood in on your approach shot. This course is designed to beat you up. The agronomy is top notch too. The staff know what they're doing to keep the course in tip top shape. Do your best to relax and enjoy a nice long round of golf. If your head is in the right place, you'll love this course. The burgers at Beck's Prime are to die for too. Don't miss out on one of those after your round.

Pretty cool course in town; not much trees and foliage but it occupies some premium real estate…read more Parking can be a hassle. They have a driving range in the north part of the park.

The venue is spacious, well-organized, and perfect for groups. The second time, I visited with my family and friends, and we had just as much fun trying out the different games.
