Came here for a birthday party and had a blast. We had three courts for 11 people for two hours, and the pricing was totally reasonable. The glow-in-the-dark setup made it way cooler than a typical pickleball experience. I'd recommend the place for sure, but I'd avoid the food--its super overpriced.

Things I love about this place: - Close to the house - Plenty of parking, which is rare in the city - Nice, clean restrooms and dining area - Recently added a cafe with hot/cold foods - Cocktails and drinks are delicious Try the pickle Michelada, yum! - Love indoor the indoor courts Things I don't like: - Tightly squeezed courts - Balls always interfering from other players Overall, definitely a good place to come and try the courts! We came here because of a tournament and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the cool indoor space. The café is a nice addition after the game you can hang out with friends and grab a quick bite. They have pizzas, calzones, açai bowl, and sandwich.

The Perfect Pickleball Spot -- Fun, Affordable, and Super Welcoming! We hosted a Yoga + Pickleball Day at DropShots, and it was an absolute hit! From start to finish, the owner, Sean, was incredibly helpful and accommodating -- you can tell he genuinely cares about creating a great experience for guests. What made it stand out: * The space is fun, clean, and welcoming -- including the outdoor patio, which added to the vibe * Our entire group had an amazing time, and several of them have already gone back on their own just to play again * Compared to other pickleball places in Houston that are overpriced with mediocre food and drinks, DropShots is the complete opposite -- great value, great energy, and surprisingly good food & drinks! If you're looking for a place that's perfect for group outings, date nights, or just trying something new without breaking the bank -- DropShots is it. Do yourself a favor and book your next fun night out here. You won't regret it!

What an amazing venue they have put together! The pickleball courts are awesome and even as a walk-in there wasn't a wait. The clean, fully stocked bar area along with indoor/outdoor seating added to the fun, yet chill, vibe. Well done! I didn't get a chance to eat here this time but I'm sure the food service is as good as advertised. I am looking forward to returning on a weekend to catch the place in full swing.

Fun spot to chill and/or play pickleball. The owner and bartender are very friendly and personable. Thanks for a great time!

Indoor pickleball! Made reservations ahead of time for 2 hours for $60. They have 6 courts total and unfortunately nothing to really block off each court. They have their own parking lot. To check in, there is a container with someone manning it and you will need it sign a e-waiver.

Best pickle Ball court in the Houston Texas - heights neighborhood! They have a beautiful bar and indoor air conditioned pickle ball courts! Paddles for rent too. They have the 16mm carbon fiber Joola brand paddles and Wilson paddles. The Healthy kitchen inside is really good and drink selection is decent and thought after

When facing the Farmer's Market, Drop Shots is located to the left. Another reference point is it's located directly across the street from Connie's Seafood. You'll walk around the side of the building to access the courts through the garage-like doors as the regular business-like doors are just office space. This venue is brand new and beautiful - bright blue kitchen on navy-ish blue. The only downside is that there's no AC or free water, so plan accordingly. There are drinks (water, energy drinks, gatorade, alcohol) for purchase though and there's a whole farmer's market surrounding the courts.

The staff is very friendly!! The atmosphere is what the heights needs!! Drinks are the best in town

Best place to play pickleball! They have iced cold drinks, AC, and a kick ass room full of courts. 10/10 experience

The Pickle Lab is the newest addition to the lineup of pickleball courts in town. Located in the Ion innovation area near Wheeler station, it's conveniently located for midtown/med center residents. You can reserve online - pricing is cheaper compared to most places in town. Parking is free in the adjacent lot for the first three hours. They have four outdoor courts and two indoor courts that are smaller. We chose to play outside and it was just our group and one other group playing. The nice girl who works there said most of their clientele are employees at the ion building and Rice students - both get 20% off. I think they're also super new that no one really knows they're there. The courts outside are nice and well lit at night. Only downside is they don't offer food. I wish they had at least a vending machine for snacks, however I believe they allow you to bring snacks in. They have free filtered water inside also. I guess you could also grab food across the street at one of the restaurants after playing. Overall as far as pickleball courts go it's a nice spot if you're strictly there to just play with friends without having to wait for your turn at a park. If you're looking for a court/restaurant/bar situation this is not it unfortunately. That being said we will be back for a few rounds of good old pickleball for sure!

This…read moreplace is a complete disaster, hiding behind a nice location and slick marketing while delivering some of the worst customer service and member experience you'll find in the city. The communication is abysmal, particularly from Sarah and Alicia, who are repeatedly unresponsive and unhelpful. Emails go ignored, questions are dodged, and if you do finally get a reply, it's vague and often inaccurate. They don't follow up, they don't follow through, and unless you ask five or six times, you will not get any clear answers or confirmations. You are constantly left chasing them down just to get the most basic information. To make matters worse, they will charge you whatever they want, whenever they want, without warning, explanation, or approval. You won't be notified of fees or changes unless you hunt them down to ask. If you're offered a credit, promo, or adjustment, take a screenshot and save every email, because they certainly won't help you figure anything out after the fact. Once you've signed up, you're on your own. Bijan is somewhat more communicative, but not enough to make up for the chaos. There's clearly no leadership or accountability here -- it feels like a group project where no one knows what their role is, and no one really cares. Facility-wise, it's barely above average. Courts are often overbooked, the gym space is mediocre, and amenities are inconsistently maintained. You're paying premium rates for a second-rate experience across the board. Bottom line: The Downtown Met is a textbook case of mismanagement and indifference. For a place that calls itself a "premier fitness and tennis club," it operates more like a poorly run pop-up gym with no structure or respect for its members. Look elsewhere, literally anywhere else would be a better use of your time and money.
