Pickleball fans, listen up. Drop Shots is a part warehouse, part bar in the heart of the Farmers market. Pull up on the side if yall need to. Courts feel a bit tight since it is a warehouse after yall. They did try to do it up very well tho. Floors good, except walls come at you quick. Bar are is your standard bar thats done and layed out very well. Happy faces everywhere to serve you. I ordered a 6 pack of dos equis and it came out to be $40! It did come out in a little cooler filled with ice so that was nice. Overall decent place for Pickleball, just the area feels a bit tight at times and since its close, balls tend to fly around from other courts. read more

We booked 2 courts for a private event. It included paddles and a bucket of balls (both indoor and outdoor). We were given courts 5 and 6, the furthest ones from the food and restroom area. You have to go out and walk to the door assigned to those courts. It was no fun when it was so cold outside. They have Clutch City for us to order food (pizza, sandwiches, açaí bowl, etc.) and drinks. They also have a lounge area on the second floor with TVs and basketball games. Shawn was very attentive to our needs. Great customer service! We had fun playing. It would have been nice to have better barriers between courts so as not to interrupt others games. read more

Came here for a birthday party and had a blast. We had three courts for 11 people for two hours, and the pricing was totally reasonable. The glow-in-the-dark setup made it way cooler than a typical pickleball experience. I'd recommend the place for sure, but I'd avoid the food--its super overpriced. read more

ok.. so i went to play pickle ball on a friday. and the games were fun. it was my first time, and some of the more experienced players made sure to let me know i needed to practice (lol). but why the two stars? its essentially a gym space with a bar restaurant attached... but there are no food options and the concept of place as a whole is not cohesive. the bar area looks like a frat hangout.. and the difference in demographics between the bar area and the pickleball courts is interesting.. its like two different worlds.. but not in a good way. its a nice facility, but in my opinion needs some direction.. because why did everyone leave after they were playing?? why is a happy hour not encouraged? bites not spotlighted? but as a gym, its cool. bar/restaurant-- nope. happy adventuring! read more

What an amazing venue they have put together! The pickleball courts are awesome and even as a walk-in there wasn't a wait. The clean, fully stocked bar area along with indoor/outdoor seating added to the fun, yet chill, vibe. Well done! Indoor pickleball! Made reservations ahead of time for 2 hours for $60. They have 6 courts total and unfortunately nothing to really block off each court. They have their own parking lot. To check in, there is a container with someone manning it and you will need it sign a e-waiver. read more

You'll walk around the side of the building to access the courts through the garage-like doors as the regular business-like doors are just office space. This venue is brand new and beautiful - bright blue kitchen on navy-ish blue. The only downside is that there's no AC or free water, so plan accordingly. Came here on a Friday night for glow-in-the-dark play. It was hard to find the entrance at 10pm. It is over to the left side, away from the farmer's market. You can choose whichever empty court with a court reservation. The lights go out at 10pm and you can see the fluorescence of the boundary lines. What a fun place! I'm a beginner player and my friends taught me the basics. How great was it to play indoors and not face the heat. The courts are colorful and just try not to dance to the 80's-90's music. Players on the other courts were courteously. We recently rented out two courts from Drop Shots for Easter Weekend. We had so much fun. The courts are all in great condition. The owner (I think Shawn) is a goofy guy but he's one heck of a player himself. He's easy to talk to and has a big passion for promoting the sport. There's even an unofficial mascot, a dog named Ace. Under construction is a bar and restaurant that is going to look beautiful. Our family had the chance to get the tour and it's going to be HUUUGE! The only downfall for some might be the lack of air conditioning but for us we were comfortable. There are fans and there's a nice breeze and from what I understand AC is in the future. But to be honest I think part of pickleball is getting a little sweat out. There's a pro shop so if you forgot to bring something or just want to get some gear you can. Right now they are selling beer, drinks, water, and snacks. Overall, if you want to go have some fun with your friends, family, or meet new people, and you're tired of spending $150 at a bar check out drop shots. Tell em' Large Marge sent ya. read more
