Spent an afternoon over the holiday season here and had a great time! The puttery has two different courses, each with a distinct theme. We did the all day pass which meant we could golf as much as we wanted and do both courses which I would recommend--especially when it only cost $21 per person compared to $18 for one round. We were going to start off with some drinks and then go golf, but since we arrived just as they opened for the day and there was only one bartender working, the wait was a bit longer than I wanted. So instead we just went ahead and jumped into a round first and got drinks in between rounds. The courses are cute and a lot of fun. They are very short and fast courses, though, so you won't actually spend TOO much time at a single one. Some of the holes are set up almost TOO difficultly to where almost no one gets it before 6, but overall still good. Drinks were expensive, but good and a nice part of the experience. We enjoyed ours in the vast creative seating areas they have and loved it. We loved our time there and hope a Puttery will be opened in the metro Atlanta area soon so we can go again. read more

We went on a double date here Saturday afternoon, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Duff was our first point of contact when we entered the establishment and she was a ray of sunshine. I sincerely appreciated her pushing our reservation back a bit as we waited for our friends to arrive. Bu made my first drink, and it was delicious. Adam put in our second round and other food-- he also brought it to us in the lounge area which was nice. Duff also came to check on us when we were lounging and I appreciated her presence and service. The food was good as well, I had the lamb sliders (not pictured I was very hungry) and my husband had the margarita pizza. He is from ny so wasn't super impressed but I thought it was fine (someone that also doesn't really eat pizza). Went here last night and had a fun time. I'll start with the good things about it. It's very beautiful, the colors and ambiance and the comfy chairs all feel like a luxury experience. The mini golf is a lot of fun and I love the electronic scoring. It's very easy to put your score in. They had a fun little picture taking thing where you could make a boomerang, gif, or take a picture and that was very fun. The drinks are pretty good as well. Overall it was a fun experience. Also you are able to walk in and play mini golf without a reservation which is what we did. The not so good things, we were waiting on family when we arrived and thought it would be nice to grab a seat and have a drink. Well in the chairs we sat at there was no waiter that came over to help us. I guess it's certain chairs where the waiter will help you. Which is really confusing. But I decided to walk up to the bar and get a drink. Well it took about 20 minutes to get a drink there. There were only two bartenders for such a busy Saturday night. Idk if the bartenders are slow or it's just that they were so busy. But the fact that it took so long did not start the night off great. The mini golf course is also very small and basic compared to other ones I've been to in other cities. Overall despite the terrible service, I would consider coming back here again and playing the other course. But there are a few cooler places with a similar vibe in other parts of NC that are not too far away. read more

Had so much fun at the Puttery! However docking it 2 stars because of the drinks and service. We made a reservation and still had to wait about 30-45 min...what's the point of a reservation? My husband got a Moscow mule and it was watered down and so bad that he didn't even finish it (and it was pricey...). Concept is great! Execution not so much. If one staff member cared it would have been better. First of all parking is a nightmare in itself. Don't even attempt it on the weekends. Everyone was late because of parking issues. Check in- (because you have to pre-pay 100% if you have reservations) No welcome at the desk just showed them reservation on my phone to be asked what course and point to a sign above. We then were told to go to the course at a specific time with no other directions on what to do next so we went to the bar. We were told at the main bar by the bartender that we were to get our drinks on the course so he did not even attempt to give us the beer we asked for. So we went to the bar on the course to find it closed. Then went back to the main bar just to wait for the staff to stop talking to each other to pour a beer while we waited on the rest of our party. Once they arrived back to the course to check in once again with no instructions we started playing and then had to ask for help to figure out how to enter the scores which then held up the entire process for the people behind us. We got that done and the place was cute. Holes were semi- fun and challenging. Just in time to find out it's only 9 holes you paid for not 18 like anywhere else. So it was over in about 35 minutes with four of us playing. Can't comment on the food because we couldn't figure out who to order it from- Moral of the story. Definitely a One and Done. read more

Had such a great time at Puttery, I didn't want it to end. It's also been so long since I've played putt putt, It took me awhile to score. But we were there to have fun and that's what I did. I love the uniqueness of the course and have only played on one side. I think to make a really fun night or it, you should plan to play typo rounds and get some time on each side. Since this is a popular spot, parking can be a challenge in the evening. Also, depending on how large the parties ahead of you are, a game can take some time. The nice thing is that they can bring you cocktails while you wait and you can be seated for dinner before or after the game. We ate at the restaurant and I ordered the meatballs, which were hearty and really tasty. Drinks were ok too. The decor inside is really cute and we had a great time. Amazing space! We hosted a 40-person event here and the team was very responsive. The dips were good, mocktails were really good. Games were a fun, immersive experience. This place is awesome and so much fun! I've been waiting to go for a while now and I finally made an appearance. The bar at puttery is so cool how it wraps around. The chips and salsa were good and the sliders tasted like you grilled them on your backyard. They were so tasty and good. the wings were average and I wouldn't really recommend. the cocktail of choice was a margarita that also tasted average. I'd be interested and going back to try other/better cocktails. the courses themselves were so much fun. I loved the conservatory and the library. I loved that each course had an electronic score card, it's own bar, specialty drinks, and the courses were hard for my husband who is a decent golfer. overall I had an awesome experience and I can't wait to go back! Edit: I went back and I still love it. It's 18.00 per person per side (or 9 holes) which is a steep price but worth it bc this place is a lot of fun. Cocktails I ordered were a prickly pear mojito in the conservatory which was good and a tasty green. As an appetizer I got the ahi stack and it was incredibly good! It was so good I got 2 orders! 4.5 stars This place was pretty darn cool. When you walk in, there is a bar/restaurant offering food and drink you can enjoy before your game of mini golf. Get a pizza, they are HUGE and very good. I got the sausage and hot honey pizza and it was delicious, nice charred crust and oh so cheesy. The drinks are also 10/10. First of all, location wise, this is located in southend. Parking is HORRIBLE. They do have a combined parking lot with a taco place next door but very limited parking spaces. You either have to park on the street if you find any available to go to a paid parking lot, which I believe are about 2 in the area that are the closest. I avoid places like these at ALL times bc of their parking, but since it was for a work event, of course, I had to come. The location itself is nice. As soon as you walk in, there is a grand bar with seating options. You can order any kind of cocktails or drinks, and they also have a food menu. Our group was hosted in the "Library," which consisted of about 9 rounds of golf in a library type setting. They also do have a bar within that room, so as you're playing, you can just walk up and grab more drinks instead of having to go all the way in the front. I heard they have other types of themed rooms but was not able to get a peek at those. Overall, it's def a cool concept. Employees were all super nice and efficient. Maybe I will be back to try other rooms if I feel like going through the hassle of finding parking. read more

Stopped in just to grab some drinks on V-day weekend and this spot is super cute! I was hoping to get some cool cocktails pics but none were really fun looking. The staff were great! The restaurant with a bar is located right at the entrance. You can grab a bite and schedule your play time. It was a little packed as there was a birthday party and a corporate party but that added to the vibes of the crowd, everyone was having fun! They cap you at 6 swings per hole so you don't take all night swinging! It keeps the traffic flowing through the holes. Now the drinks, these bartenders know what they're doing! I don't even think a Moscow mule or rum punch were on the menu, thank you bartenders! There are little tables to place your drinks on as you play. Really cool, new putters place in south end area. Small parking lot so If it's busy, it may be difficult to find parking. I suggest coming on a weekday, as I've read other reviews, it can get quite busy and the wait can get long to play. With that said, the interior in gorgeous! You can tell they put thought and detail into the space. We got to play pretty quickly, came in as soon as they opened on a Tuesday. We opted to play the library course and it was fun. Not to hard to where it would take you awhile to make a hole but challenging enough. Next time I'd try the conservatory course, but it seems as they only have two course you can choose from. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They even explain how to use the score board which is digital. Very nice touch! I like that you can also order drinks while playing on the course. After we finished, we went to get some food at the bar near the front entrance. Did I mention how beautiful the space was? Very ig worthy if you want to take pics. We grabbed a tasty drink from the bar & headed to the Library course that we enjoyed. Our party of three leisurely putted through 9 holes in 25 minutes. In my opinion, $18 for 25 minutes is a bit much & not worth it. Parking was scarce so we had to pay for that as well & that added up. By the end of the course we were hesitant to order food & elected to go elsewhere. So I will keep it great, short, and brief! Entering the establishment was a big surprise. Compared to the outside you would never know how beautify designed this place is. From the amazing bar to the actually golf course. They have two courses, each of them is well created which immerses you into the course. From the props to the digital score board. Simply amazing place to visit if you are in Charlotte. To participate the course price is $18 per person for one course so you'll have to pick one. The drinks are great and you're allowed to bring drinks with you or order them as you golf. The staff is very friendly and helpful, definitely felt welcome as soon as we entered the doors. Lastly, the food was well worth it and I would like to point out the pizza. I ordered this pizza and it's close to what I like and how I like it being that pizza is a staple where I'm from. Neat experience, but I am too old for this place, I think. You have to make reservations for putt putt, and you show up and get placed in a 90 minute window. You'll want to show up before the start of your reservation, and even then you may not get on the course close to that time. The food and drink menu is decent. The pizzas looked large and had some tasty options. Other menu items were not vegetarian friendly. Lots of cocktail options, around $13-$15 each, so not super expensive. They had a DJ spinning which was cool but the music was loud. Like super loud, again I think I'm too old for this place. Lots of good tv watching options (we were there during a football Sunday). While this place is fairly new with great potential, like other reviewers have mentioned there can be room for improvement. When I first walked in, the design of the place was what caught my attention. I loved the low lighting, vibe, and the music choices. My party and I were attending to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. The service could have improved though. I understand our server had other large parties to tend, but at times it was very slow and we had to reach out to other servers just to order or inquire about our meals. The sliders were great along with the sausage and hot honey pizza. I just wish they had more menu options besides being a pizza focused with limited appetizers. Our biggest regret was not looking at the menu before coming. We thought we could spend the night enjoying dinner and drinks with put put. Only to arrive and realize our only options were sliders and pizza. Next time, I will probably eat ahead of time and come here for games. The drinks here were good if you order from the bar or outside the put put areas. While I understand, the drink choices are theme inspired once you begin golfing, $13-18 is still pricy for a drink after paying $18 already just to golf. I also think they should have a better system when it comes to the put put holes. Sometimes you can just be enjoying your drink and laughing when another party is waiting on that hole. Unfortunately, you can't skip and come back so many times you feel rushed. If they could allow you to choose your party name vs your party transferring from hole to hole once a score is submitted it would be much more helpful. Went to golf on a hot day, $15pp for 9 holes. Didn't need to reserve a slot ahead of time just did walk in. Definitely would not go here if you just wanted to mini golf. We did the Conservatory side (there is also the Library). Not sure who designed the course but they must have never been mini golfing before. The last hole took all 4 people in our group the max 6 attempts to try and get it up the poorly designed hill with it bouncing out of the course 50% of the time. Two of the holes are built up on hills and many of the holes have decor items that make it difficult to putt. The golf part of this golf bar stinks. Would not return here to mini golf but the bar area did look very nice to get a drink and hang out read more

Other people in our party ordered a watermelon margarita, Augusta sunset, and Old Fashioned. Everyone was pleased by their drinks from Adam! His service was amazing. For food, we got wings, the lamb burgers, and birria fries. No one had a bad thing to say about the food and we were pleasantly surprised with the wings. I don't think you could go wrong with their food menu. It's a great overall vibe and the putt putt really just is the perfect addition. Dang, I wish we had a cute place like this where I live! The interior is designed with a clever eye for detail, creating pockets of spaces for smaller groups to enjoy food, drinks, and visiting. The mini-golf counter is the first stop just inside the door, making it easy to find your way around. The bar is in the same area, so you also know where to go for drinks! There are two mini-golf courses to choose from: a library with a life-size bear or mushroom forest with beautifully done trees and decor. That's a smart way to get guests to come back again to try the other course! Cost is per person and however many rounds you want to play. There are 9 holes in each course with interactive touch screens that follow your group as you play each one. If you've been drinking a bit already, you may miss the next number you're supposed to go to (wasn't us), but a friendly employee is always nearby to help. Each hole has a built-in spot for your drinks to set down while you play and a server comes around periodically to take and bring drink orders. They were all challenging but also doable, with a max score of 6 tries at each hole. We had already eaten at Optimist Hall (food court), so we didn't partake of any food or beverage this time, but would if we're ever in Charlotte again! This is a really fun place for some indoor mini golf, and it's great regardless if you're a master putter or a noob (like me). The courses are quite detailed, fun, and challenging, and there's a digital score card that follows you around from course to course. The employees are friendly and shout out to the bartender who didn't let our bride-to-be pay for our drinks (we were there for a bachelorette party). Speaking of drinks, the jello shots are pretty weak, but you're not really coming here to get smashed (I hope) so it was a fun little thing to do as a group and pretend we were partying hard. Even though it was fairly packed when we got there, we still managed to work our way through the courses without ever feeling like we were waiting too long.
