I dropped my items off on a Tuesday afternoon and they were ready two days later. I will return, though I noticed that their daily specials have been reduced quite a bit when compared to earlier former promotions (i.e. 5% off for shirts on Tuesdays and pants on Wednesdays, when before it was a 20% discount...). Be sure to bring your invoice at pick-up to ensure a smooth process.

Wow. Wow. WOW. I am…read morea total klutz and I'm not afraid to admit it. I am always getting something on my clothes when I eat. I know, I know. I'm a 2 year old. Last week I bought a dress. Not just any dress. This dress is a gorgeous floor length hot pink piece of summery goodness. It quickly became my favorite summer dress, which is saying A LOT. When I decided to wear this dress out to dinner, I had no idea that it was 100% silk. All I knew was that I was going on a hot date so I needed to rock my newest frock. Well, this is where the story goes south. While at dinner, I got not 1, not 2, but 3 large spots on the dress. Panicked, I didn't know what to do except go in the Internet to look up stain removal... Because the Internet is always right *eye roll* I tried to remove it on my own with dish soap and had no luck whatsoever. So, it was time for some professional intervention. I had heard of Puritan's stellar reputation, so that was the first place I went. Ashley was amazing. She was completely honest and didn't make any promises, but told me that if I didn't see results, she wouldn't charge me. They also give you the option to send a garment back through the cleaners a second time free of charge if the stains don't come out the first time. That's exactly what happened to me. I went to pick my dress up the next day and the stains were much better, but still noticeable. I took the chance and sent it back through to see if they could make it any better. And better they did! The food and grease stains are 100% undetectable! I seriously can't believe it. I'm so glad to know that Puritan is right down the street and there's no other cleaners I will go to. It makes me so angry that I didn't get a chance to take before and after pics, but please believe me when I say that my dress is good as new! Can't thank you enough, Puritan!

Today Tiffany who is amazing cared for me in a professional manner that exceeds customer service. If you read about my shirt dilemma then please realize I now have the shirt and it looks great. I started using Puritan cleaners when I was mostly taking in shirts for work. Back then I was doing the laundry for the family and one member of my family needed his shirts cleaned professionally. Really bad service and manager in the store located at 10828 W Broad St, Glen Allen, VA 23060…read more I brought two down jackets for cleaning. After I picked them up, I discovered that the down filling inside both jackets had become severely clumped together in the corners of the quilted sections, leaving many areas with little or no insulation. As a result, the quality, appearance, and functionality of these jackets were significantly compromised. The manager repeatedly stated that the store could attempt to clean the jackets again but is not responsible for any damage or changes to the condition of the garments. Rather than discussing a reasonable resolution, he continued to repeat this position and spoke in a manner that I found unprofessional and dismissive. Thanks for your reply. The concern is that the manager has stated that the store will not accept responsibility or provide compensation for the damage already caused. Although he has offered to re-clean the garments, he has also made it clear that the store will not be liable if the jackets remain in the same condition or are further damaged afterward. Given that position, I do not believe it is reasonable to authorize another cleaning attempt. I am concerned that doing so could be used to argue that the store is no longer responsible for the existing damage if the condition does not improve to an acceptable level.
