First guy was really kind, professional and gave a…read moregood massage but used knuckles and forearms which I'm just not a fan of, but it's been challenging finding a good fit so I scheduled a bunch more massages. Reception told me one other lady, Reonna roberts, was accepting OHP so I scheduled with her the next day because my back hurts and I need the therapy. Long story short she was totally disrespectful about my preference to stay on my stomach. I explained why, told her I self massage my own pecks daily, told her I have had bad experiences face up massages... She listens to all of this then goes off for a few minutes about how she ALWAYS starts people off face up (lol), and how it "won't work" if she doesn't, that she's never had a complaint. I told her that technique (using the weight of your head for neck work) sounded good and cheerfully agreed to start face up...then she pulls weirdo attitude and says she doesn't want to do anything to make me uncomfortable and we can just do it my way. Ok? So what was her whole little speech about? Then she says if anything is off just say something, I responded that I'm vocal and would let her know and she responded "yeah so you're not just laying there thinking what is this bullshit", and then quickly sashays out of the room before I could even respond because NO, I don't think that at all. It's like she had already made her mind up about me but then still went ahead. My "medical massage" starts 15 min late, and 30 min in I said how awesome the massage was and asked her what days she worked she informed me she wouldn't be giving me another massage lol. I was taken back because I told her I wanted to try her faceup method and was enjoying the massage and told her I didn't understand. She said it's not a good fit, that she has been doing this long enough she has regular clients and doesn't need to change her method for anyone. WTF? She is one of only 2 therapists accepting OHP there and should NOT be offering medical massage if she's this petty and disrespectful of people's boundaries. I stopped the massage right there and complained to managment about it because it was extremely rude and unprofessional. If it was a bad fit, what was she doing touching me in the first place??? She was a full on creep for treating me like that because of a personal preference like not having MY FING CHEST MASSAGED...thanks a lot, "healing space". I told the manager the literal halfass 30 min massage better not show up on my insurance. The creepy thing is I went to write the owner a letter with my copy of all the appointments I canceled and it turns out he's been accused of sexual assault and allegedly ruined some poor ladies business who rented space from him. I looked up "owner of healing space" and it was even in the news. I'm really horrified by this and refuse to support a business where people are disrespected and their personal preferences and boundaries are not only questioned but totally disregarded. Reonna roberts acted passive aggressive, condescending, cold, and totally dismissive, but I'm eternally grateful because had I known about her boss I never would have stepped in that place to begin with.

I wanted to do a spa day with my daughter, but three years later we still haven't been able to. Too many reasons to list them ALL. If I didn't mind throwing away a $300 gift certificate I wouldn't step foot through their doors.

The spa is supposed to make the cancer patient feel like a complete diva, and make it a very personal experience, and I did not experience any of that at the salon, as a matter of fact, it was quite the opposite! Almost every other salon I have seen cancer patients go to all throughout the United States, have made this experience wonderful for other cancer patients, and have even gifted them a bouquet of roses. I did not get greeted personally and nobody had any idea why I was even there! Not the massage therapist (who was extremely kind and wonderful by the way, and the massage was decent), not the aesthetician for the facial or even the nail tech (who is completely unexperienced, and it was probably my worst pedicure ever)! The facial aesthetician actually tried to upsell me, until she found out all of my services were prepaid for, and then she literally stopped talking and took me back to her room and started her facial process, which was extremely odd, especially considering the fact that she constantly kept checking her phone and then touching my face, very unsanitary, and she was extremely loud opening and closing cabinets, and it was very non-relaxing! Kesha should not be allowed to even touch her phone while she's giving a facial! I am very bummed. I decided to pick this salon over other ones I was considering. I feel extremely ripped off, and do not feel like I was taking care of properly or even acknowledged for the reason I was there, or the experience! I do not, and will never recommend this salon for anyone! They clearly do not care about their clients or organization sending clients their way for special days!

In my head I thought I was getting Reflexology, but the sign with prices does say Foot Massage. There is a language issue, just make sure and point to what you are asking for- like 3 times, so you know what you'll pay. Then I just had to go with it- wasn't sure what would happen. They took us back right away! And after the 30 minutes they seem to offer more- like a massage for dessert? They are very friendly, smile, proper, and strong! This was a vigorous foot service. Our feet were placed in a warm water bath. Then I didn't know where she went- so quiet- then she was at the head of the reclined surface. Maybe she was praying before she began? She started with a temple massage, then neck and upper back. We were fully clothed. Then a towel across my eyes and onto the feet and calves, which all felt good. I'm not sure if I thought it was relaxing. It was good for my body, circulation, etc. It was worth $35- the prices seem very reasonable. It's not a luxury spa type place, but know their craft. The walk-in availability and reasonable price is a big draw for quality service when one has a need!

Walking in we are greeted most enthusiastically by a lady who barely speaks English, so it started a little awkwardly with trying to get information. There is a board that shows $35 for a half hour foot massage. When we pointed to it I think we were negotiating...? Hahahaaaa!! Next thing you know we are both being walked back to a couple of side by side short sofas. There is a wicker basket to put your shoes and socks and pillows on the sofas for reclining. We both settled in as they brought out foot baths. These ladies are very courteous, polite and cheerful. They are enthusiastic about their work and do a good job. They put our feet in these baths to soak while they came around behind us and we got a neck and shoulder massage to start. Then they got to our feet and that massage was awesome. They weren't exactly delicate, but they were thorough and not rough. At the end of the massage they toweled off our legs (up to the knees) and feet and said we are done. Not very ceremonious either, but efficient. My feet feel great and I'm relaxed, considering we only went in to get some information and came out as clients. Yea, I would be tempted to go back with any muscle issues. If you want an aggressive muscle workout, I'm thinking this is your cup of tea. There is a large menu board on the wall in the office. It is easy enough to just point at what you want and you're in business. The place is clean and well kept. For the most part it looks like a lot of the rooms are cubbies with drapes, but the full body massage rooms have actual doors.

It's pretty much a Swedish massage with lots of strength. The technique was kinda questionable. But she really puts a lot of work into it. I love that. It's a 1 person show. So if the phone rings or a customer comes in, she will have to take care of that. But you won't be short changed. When she works, she will get into the nooks & crannies. I suggest dressing down to a higher standard than usual if you are accustomed to North American massage therapists. She is responsive to feedback. Although, I asked her not to touch my feet, but she did anyway. But it did not hurt... which it usually does. So she changed my mind about my feet. She speaks enough English to get by. If you are turned-off by establishments that are not hospital-like sterile, this is not the place for you. I'm in it for the massage. I will be back.
