Blue lights with the regular light on together
Alexa C.

First time here, definitely won't be the last! We wish we came here sooner. Private tub rooms with a stereo and shower. Tubs can be set to desired temp (max 104 degrees). We came as a walk in and were promptly placed in a room with no wait. They do accept appointments which I would recommend because I would drive by and always see it busy, today it wasn't. We took the partial open roof room which was fantastic, loved being able to see the stars and clouds pass by. Quiet ambience on this night, very peaceful. The perfect little stress relieving getaway. They have blue lights for a relaxing feel, or you can choose to have the regular lights on. I love that you basically can choose what you want and make it perfect for your preferences. We rented for the full hour but were given the option to do half.

Not clean. Such a yucky experience. As in, I left feeling like I caught something gross. They- the staff- are nice though.

I'd been to the dermatologist, but the topical they gave me was making my skin purge like nothing I'd ever experienced. In comes my booking with Sarina for a first-time facial at Nushka'a Spa. With each facial from Sarina, my skin improves drastically. I'm actually confident enough to go out in public again, when I'd previously been too ashamed to go out with the way my skin was looking. She's not only good at taming my skin in the spa, she's also a hoot to chat with, and will give you great skincare advice to implement into your daily routine outside of facial treatments. This chic does it all, too. She can wax you, get your cuticles in order, and de-gunk your pores, all in one visit. Just make sure you book the treatments you want ahead of time on Nushka's website. Getting acne later in life was such a blow to my self-confidence, so I feel super lucky to have found someone as talented at their job as Sarina to help me through it!

I would say the only improvement would be the "sanctuary" area. It has a steam room, shower, complimentary robe and sandals, rainfall showers and a place to lay down but I personally think this area costs too much (30$) for an hour or so.

The vibe is very boring, circa 20 years ago looking. Needs an update. If a trained stylists with a hair license runs out of time at your appointment, they will have the secretary at the front dry and style your hair. The girl told me, it is illegal, but not to worry about it because Carla the owner does it all the time. The staff uses language that is not professional. One of the stylists broke my hair off and when I asked her about it she became extremely agitated. Obviously this person is not mature enough to deal with the public. I've never had someone raise their voice at a salon. After the incident, she was not reprimanded and she still works there. I think they are so in need of employees that they will take anyone. Stay away from the salon unless you want broken, fried hair and a tongue lashing from some very unprofessional characters. I wish I would have been warned and I have told this story to so many people and others had the same experience. Awful business practices,

I've now been four times and highly, highly recommend anyone in pain go see Rosy. I've had two…read moresemi-chronic issues that other practitioners haven't been able to alleviate and Rosy sincerely did. I was skeptical at first about the hand therapy but it's amazing how effectively it (somehow) relaxed my body enough for the deep and varied massage techniques to help. I recommend people consult with Rosy and give it a try. As with everything, you have to be open for something to work. I was out of necessity and I am so glad/grateful for it. To be out of pain and have more energy feels almost miraculous. I'd also like to comment on the negative reviews. I am 100% certain Rosy wants more than anything for someone to feel better, and her prices for what she gives (and her experience) are much too low. I've seen many people take advantage of her generosity and her policy of having people come back for free if they're not satisfied. It's sad. She is not at all about the money; I'm confident that if there was a *sincere* issue it was a misunderstanding and she would work through it with you. I would also say that if you only want a simple service and don't want her to go too deep then let her know beforehand or, better yet, schedule with someone else so she can focus her time on people who need a higher level of help. She is open to that conversation - she wants people to be happy with her/their service. And the language can be a barrier if too rushed - make sure you're clear about the treatment you want and your expectations. But again I would recommend being open to her advice and to the hand-herb therapy - I'm sure she'd even let you try it for free or at a reduced price. As a former athlete who has seen many quality practitioners of all kinds in the past, I was amazed at how effective it is and want to research more so I can understand it better. In my opinion, it's much better than paying for overrated doctors (not al but many!) and easy and expensive meds with side effects. Sometimes they're necessary but often not, in my experience. If you're in pain or struggling with something, again, I would say be open and give it a try. You might be very pleasantly surprised like I was. Very thankful to feel healthier and more energetic again!

I went in for a one hour massage, which I was able to schedule the night before. It was nice that…read morethey had availability. The woman at the front was nice, and had me fill out a form and draw where exactly I had the most pain and wanted them to focus; which I said was my lower back and glutes. Once I was laying on the table, the owner came in and very quickly talked me into a "patch" treatment, with a 30 minute massage. An extra $20. I really tried to say no, but she pushed that the massage wouldn't be enough and I gave in. The "patches" were pieces of masking tape with seeds and herbs under them, taped onto my hands. $50!! When that was over, the massage finally started, and the majority was on my shoulders. I kept commenting that my sciatica was bad, and the few moments she did my lower back I was saying it was nice and to do more, saying repeatedly that that's what hurt. She continued doing my shoulders. I was honestly relieved when it was over, and when I stood up to get dressed, my lower back was somehow stiffer, and had barely been touched. I tried to get dressed without messing up the tape on my hands, without success. When I went to pay, I was visibly confused and upset, and was asked "how much tip"? I have never in my life not tipped, but I was going to. I gave her a $10. Then the owner came to the front and saw I was upset and gave me a partial refund, which I did genuinely appreciate. Even with the money back, I feel like I wasted money and time, and my back still kills. What's the point of the form before the appointment if you're not going to massage where I said I wanted? The ladies were both very sweet, and I am thankful for the refund for the "patches", but I won't be back.
