Sat in the waiting area holding back tears as Blair finished my kiddos haircut. This was our second time coming to Tim's, our first was *such* a warm, inviting experience with another stylist. There are very few customer service interactions in my life (if any) that have left me feeling so disrespected and evidently incapable of describing the cut/style I was looking for. Glad I found Elizabeth at Tim's Trims. She gives me the perfect cut every time, has recommended natural oils for my hair that work great, is fun to talk to and always has the best music going. Another thing I like about Tim's Trims is the ease of scheduling, great cutters like Elizabeth can have crazy long wait times, but here I can get in without a problem booking online. Awesome little barber shop. First time there and great vibes all around, from the plants to the paintings. Everyone in there seemed to be enjoying themselves, barbers and patrons alike. Offered me a drink right when I sat down. Joe did a great job. My request was initially a little wishy-washy and he helped me flesh it out based on the way my hair grows, etc. More often than not I feel like I'm disappointed with hair cuts but not this time. Went in for a haircut with Austin while I was in town for a couple days. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. Did an outstanding job listening to what I was looking for and I was really happy with the end result. He even cleaned up the back of my neck with a straight razor and ended with a hot towel. A nice straight razor cleanup around the edges and neckline brings the whole cut together. A quick vacuum to get any stray hairs has you ready for the rest of your day. I've had 2 good experiences here, but today was pretty disappointing. First, the barber overcharged from his online reservation rate, for a hair cut and beard trim. Furthermore he in no way gave me a a hair cut, I barley got my neck cleaned, and the slightest bit of electric trim near my ears. Now I didn't want a lot cut off, but I What I received can not be be considered a hair cut- Now my beard received 90% of the attention, of the 30 mins or less I was in his chair but my mustache is un-even, I got home and to balance it out myself. So in summary I was overcharged, for something I did not truly receive, and the one aspected which he applied himself was messed up. read more

Honestly, don't come here, it's so expensive just for them to do the exact opposite of what you ask for. I went to what seemed to be the best guy there, asked for a trim on the sides, because I don't like it short on the sides and I don't like fades, and I wanted an inch off on the top. He shaved my sides off and gave me a fade look, and he barley touched the top. I asked him to take more off the top and he just played with my hair and was done because he had two other people in line. Not to mentioned he burned and cut the back of my neck trying to line up my hair which I didn't ask for. read more

You could physically draw out how you'd like your hair cut, and some how some of their employees would still miserably fail to make it happen. Not only did you ruin a family wedding I was asked to no longer be the best man to my brother. Asking for a common modern day mullet with a extremely low skin fade and 4 inches left on top and back, here I am with 1.75 inches on top 3.5 inches in back. This isn't modern mullet this is country hill billy yee yee. I spontaneously decided to get my head shaved, and though I've never done anything like it before I drove down to Eugene from Corvallis and had Elizabeth do it for me. She made me feel super comfortable and it was actually fun! The shop and the people are just the most welcoming to everyone.
