At first, everything seemed great--the presentation, installation, and promises of ongoing service and filter replacements were very professional. Unfortunately, once it came time to actually replace the filters and provide the scheduled maintenance, the experience completely changed. Appointments have been canceled, emails have gone unanswered, and when I call, I'm told someone will follow up, but no one ever calls me back. I even missed work for a scheduled maintenance appointment, only to receive a call saying they were still waiting for parts and had to cancel. As of now, my TDS reading is high, and I still do not have the quality drinking water I was promised. It's extremely frustrating to invest in a water filtration system and then struggle to get the maintenance and customer service that was promised at the time of purchase. I hope the company takes responsibility and resolves this issue as soon as possible. read more

The worst thing you can do is spend 4x the money on Puragain system as other systems. I paid $6400 last year for their system. There is nothing unique about their product. Sediment filters are standard. Carbon filters have been around for decades, and the TAC 3rd filter is not proprietary and has long been part of ALL quality home filtration system. What makes it even more irate than the price is how they promise something like free filter replacement one year from the day of initial installation. When I called 14 months after the initial installation, they refused to change it. The service Rep David who showed up initially told me it was a good idea to replace them after using a hand held tester he used to test the water. But then he also added that I had to pay $350 to replace them. Then I showed him the proof that it was supposed to be included. He then removed the filters and claimed he "could tell" they didn't need to be replaced". I asked him how would he know when he didn't test it for particles, chemicals, etc? I even told him that I am getting hard water deposits on the shower glass all the time now. He still insisted that he "could tell". Instead the service rep blamed it on the sales rep over-promising. Then when I called headquarters, they asked for proof in writing. I provided the proof that was in writing from the receipt I had. Guess what. Now they don't respond to that and I am just ignored. Please save yourself 4x the money. Contact Kind Water System, iSpring, Aquasana Rhino, 3M Aqua-Pure, or others. Saves you a lot of money and saves you the headache of trying to make them keep their written promises. Even when they came to install the system, they created the bigger water leak which I didn't realize until over 3 months after the install. I paid a plumber to fix which cost me $450. Of course they didn't accept responsibility for it. By the way, the filters are generic size so I don't even need their servicing. I had just wanted them to service what they promised (in writing) after a year. I will not be ever contacting them for a service call either because they charge $350 for annual changing of filters when I can buy them for $90 generic, and just $200 for premium generic. In summary: 1 star for - improper install (water leakage) - not even honoring their written service agreement - overcharging by far (4x the cost of other company initial install) - blaming other people in organization for problems (not my fault attitude) They are the biggest company but they are also the biggest rip off. read more

I couldn't be happier with my new system. I had it installed 11 months ago. I noticed the water pressure had dropped a few weeks ago so I called for an early service. I wasn't sure if the area had reduced its water pressure or if someone my main regulator was the issue. Tanner showed me and explained that the first filter had been full and replaced all 3 with the premium filters. If I didn't have this system, all those things could have gone into my home's water. I have had the system now for over 2 years. Much better than my old salt based system. Takes up much less room and no maintenance. The key here has been the service staff. I live in an area that has crappy water. This means my filters need replacing more frequently than normal. The water technicians I have dealt with have all been excellent. I started with Julio and more recently have had Tanner Leikman. Both have been great. Tanner always responds right away and comes over ASAP. He has good knowledge of the system and of the water in my area. He takes the time whether it's me or my wife to explain what he is doing and why. To be clear, the only issues I've had are related to filters getting clogged due to ciry water quality. The techs always take time to show me the filter and quickly replace getting me back on track. We had Purigan Water installed in our newly built home after the salesman assured us it would eliminate water spots on our dishes, showers, and sinks. Unfortunately, that promise was completely false. Within a month of installation, we noticed no difference and reached out for support. After multiple back-and-forth conversations with the "manager," I requested a refund. Instead of honoring it, they assured us the system would be fixed. Fast forward a year, and we are still dealing with the same issues--constantly texting three different managers, none of whom provide a straight answer or a solution. At this point, we are being completely ghosted. The customer service is beyond terrible, and we regret ever trusting this company. Puragain Water Filtration Company? DON'T DO IT!!! $5900 dollars they've stolen from me. It's a complete scam! Ours was installed in March. I was told the water would be clear within 30 minutes. When it wasn't, then it was going to be a day. After a week of film and discoloration on all metal and plastic in the dishwasher, the manager came out and drained the water heater. That did nothing. I had to soak ALL metal cookware and flatware in vinegar to remove the film. Can't use the dishwasher at all because the works are damaged. I've deep cleaned it at least four times and it still dispenses a nasty dirty film. Just unusable. My dogs and I were getting sick from Puragain water. Severe diarrhea. I went out of town and had no problems. Come home and it's back. Finally the manager came out and I told him I wanted it removed because of all the issues. He said, no problem, I'll get you a refund. They retrieved their equipment within a few days. A couple weeks later, he referred me to his regional manager. I have texts from him saying that the check should have been cut, then that he didn't understand what the holdup was. Then nothing. I've texted, no response. I made a complaint through BBB. They received...No response. So now, I'm forced to go through the trouble of collecting documents, filing a suit and taking my own time up when it finally does go to court. $5900. Who can afford to just say goodbye to that kind of money? Not me. I'm going to include a new dishwasher in the suit, too. Seriously, folks! Save yourself from the hassle. I switched to Halo 5. It's less expensive and there is no maintenance. In fact, it flushes itself clean once a week. No more sick family. Now to continue gathering documents for that court case. WHAT A SCAM! read more

At first it was good, $5,899 good! But then... The hard water spots are still there. They came out and replaced the yearly filter for $450. I have decided to remove the under sink filter but keep the whole house filter, we use a brita pitcher anyway. Called on 11/3/25 was to receive a call back to schedule the removal. Called again on 11/6/25 to schedule the removal. It is now 11/9/25 and they still have not called back. We just had our first annual filter service with our Puragain system. It was and has been functioning well. The Reverse Osmosis system has been great and we like having a spigot at the sink to use for cooking and drinking water. Tanner came out and performed the service. It went well and he did an excellent job of keeping me posted throughout the process and letting me know what we needed for our home and how the system was performing in regard to our concerns. We originally thought we had the upgraded system, but found out we had the basic one. My plumber recommended Puragain. When I tested the water I was blown away at how bad it is! I was wanting to purchase an R/O and whole house system but did not think I could afford it. I found out Puragain would be cheaper then renting so I made an appointment to talk to the sales rep. James was wonderful. We ending up chatting for quite a while and he broke down everything for me.
