I was a customer of this company for over 8 years, trusting that I was getting quality service for what I was paying. Recently, I started testing my water after reading reviews, only to discover that my water was just as hard as untreated tap water. In other words, the water softener I was renting all these years wasn't doing anything. When I asked the company to remove the tank, the technician left my house without hot water -- a problem that never existed before. I had to call them back again, and when the second tech came, he parked on my driveway and left a massive oil spill behind. Now I'm stuck with a stained driveway on top of everything else. This company is unprofessional, careless, and clearly not delivering the service they claim. After years of paying them, I feel completely misled and extremely disappointed. I was told by the sales rep that the installation and water would only be 69 for the month. Then I get a bill in the mail and it's saying 52.70 after the rep said it will be $31 then the operator is saying that I got prorated for the month I got it installed so I basically got lied to. And I got the operator being useless asf so I just canceled it after only one month of having this horrible service. Don't waste your time and just get a filter from Amazon. Where do I start! From day one VERY POOR management. Sales person did a trade with me for install discount. 1st tank was used! They kept telling me to be patient and use more water until filter works. NO, you gave me a bad tank. It appears after lots of questions and many problems later, that they have no protocols in place for tanks, deliveries or customer satisfaction. Install done by BEAND new employee and was dangerous and very sloppy. Had to have it removed and redone. It was implied that I paid so little, thats what I get (trade w salesman). 4 deliveries done at wring times, duplicated a week after getting a delivery and not giving me one at all last month. STAY AWAY, HORRIBLE COMPANY, they have no respect for personal property. They broke my garage door, "Gary the manager" said they were gonna come fix it and never called me back. Once I reached "Gary the manager" days later he said they are not responsible for it. The damage was done at time of service by the delivery driver by bringing in the new tank. Later to find out through the garage door company are used for the estimate. This company has been known to been frames and damage personal property And not take responsibility. I have video and audio recordings, had my lawyer send them a letter just to fix my door didn't even respond. I contacted the police department and will have a subpoena to have the phone call present during time of court. the police dep also agreed and stated the company "Pacific water conditioning" is responsible since the damage was done at time of service. They're still denying responsibility, when no one else touched the door but their employees. I will be taking them to court, they will be replacing my broken garage door And additional costs . They are very responsive and happy to help you solve any billing questions. The quality of the water is also amazing. Joe showed up on time and was very nice and knowledgeable. I originally was interested in the monthly recycled soft water tank, but Joe convinced me that also having reverse osmosis water was in my best interest. He was not wrong. It took a couple weeks for me to get used to the cleaner water taste and my cats love it too!! The monthly fee on both are affordable. Less maintenance for me since I don't have to replace the filter in my fridge or add salt to my water tank anymore. The only adjustment I had to make was being home when the water softener tank truck came by and I have to open my garage for him to get to the tank. Well it looks like I'm not alone in my frustration with this company. We move to Moorpark, CA several years back and were told by the builder of our home that Moorpark has very "hard" water. This is definitely the case as my wife's psoriasis flare ups have been more frequent since moving here. So we decided to give Pacific Water Conditioning a try. We only noticed an improvement in the softness of the water for a week or so after each tank swap. We decided to call another company to have them come in and check to see how "hard" our water level was. It turns out that the water tanks being supplied to us were way to small for our family size and that our soft water was only lasting a little over a week. This left us with 3 weeks a month of hard water that has noticeably calcified our faucets and shower heads. We switched over to another company and upgraded to a beefier system that allows me to have "unlimited" soft water by simply adding salt as needed. I finally know what "soft" water is supposed to feel like and no more psoriasis patches. What really irked me is after 10 years of service, I called to cancel and they said I owed $39.50 even though the billing statement for service was from 12/3 - 12/30, yet they picked up the tanks on the 26th of November. Lol! So I didn't actually owe anything. I payed it anyways because i value my credit score. They then proceeded to tell me that we don't bill monthly, we bill every 28 days so It's 13X payments a year not 12X. Scam City! read more

It turned out that the set up at our complex made it difficult to fit the necessary tank. After speaking to the sales rep to explain my urgency to have it installed, the company made special arrangements to have someone come out to make the necessary alterations for the fitting. They need to improve with who delerivers tanks how trey switch them out instead of sloppy and monitor tanks that sit so long they rust and cause huge problems like washing white clothes wrecked, & pipes clogged that's a lot of old stuff like Rick salt except Burt orange color it's a bummer . I'm very disappointed in this company. They seemed so professional for the first few months. The problem started when I asked the driver/ installation technician to wipe up the water after monthly service. When that didn't happen, I called and asked the office support person to remind the driver to clean up after himself. The next service after that, another driver/ technician preformed the service and he left a bigger mess than the last guy, even though I asked him to clean up after himself. At this point I suspected that someone(s) was unhappy with my request so I called the office to ask for some help and got a call back from the driver, who said he was the manager and after I relayed my problem, he reveled that he was the driver and tried to deflect the responsibility onto me! They messed up the connection of their pipe to my water main so bad that they broke my water main. Also the tank was so loose that the slightest touch would move it. The customer service is so bad that IF you can get them to come out, they laugh at their own shoddy work, laugh in your face, and then claim they didn't do it. I wish I had video-taped the incompetent slob that did this shoddy installation so I could upload it to You-Tube so people could see them in action. I asked him to come later he tells me since I am out walking my dogs he can't come later. I called the office to complain and all I got was a manager who couldn't have cared less! We have owned a water softening system in our home for nearly 20 years. The unit finally died so it was time to replace. We did some shopping, looked at different options and decided to go with the folks at Pacific Water Conditioning. So far, we are VERY happy!!! Our salesman, Joe M., was fantastic and went above and beyond!!! He explained the options and taking our situation into account we opted to rent, both the soft water exchange tank and the reverse osmosis unit. He even made arrangements with the company to have the old system disconnected and removed at no additional charge! Two different installers arrived on the day and time promised, one for the reverse osmosis and the other for the soft water unit. They were both professional, friendly and courteous. The reverse osmosis tank required a hole be drilled in our granite counter top. We were a little nervous but we can tell you that the installer knew what he was doing and was able to drill the hole and installed the RO tank without any issues! The software exchange tank was installed quickly and with professional care. The installer took his time to explain how the process of delivering the tank would occur. As promised, the replacement tank arrived on time and was replaced in a quick and efficient manner. If we had not been on our way to work we wouldn't have even known that they were here. We noticed an almost immediate difference in our soft water and we are enjoying the benefits again! We highly recommend this company!! read more
