Between my kids and my dog there have been some stains that I thought would become a permanent part of my home. Poof, like magic they're gone! If they can't get it out nobody can. We have some very expensive carpets and rugs in our house. It is important to me the process they use to clean them will not damage our investments. I'm not really sure why I did business with them. Won't do it again. They seem to always be on the defensive. My carpet is not the same as the sample I gave them but they insisted it is. She can't see the difference, clearly there is a difference but she doesn't want to see it. Oh it's like pulling teeth. Dry and brash. Oh I dislike people who can't accept when they are wrong.

Run, don't walk, away from this company…read more About a year ago, we had a bathroom leak that affected a patch of our wood floors in the master bedroom. Johnson Custom Floors assured me that I didn't need to get brand new wood floors for the entire downstairs, we could patch the bedroom, and sand the rest of the bedroom down and stain it. I had some wear on the rest of the downstairs floors, so they said they could do a polyurethane top coat finish on the floors to make them look brand new. We had a few high traffic areas in the kitchen where the stain was coming up-- so, per their idea, they added some stain to the topcoat to blend in. We were told we would need to be out of the house for 5+ days, but they finished very quickly, and we were back in either 3 or 4 days (can't remember). Within 4 days, the top coat started bubbling and flaking off in huge chunks! My floors looked significantly worse than they did before. I immediately contacted the company, who said it "must be because of the added stain" (which was their idea), and they said they'd come out and re-do the top coat. If you've ever had any experience with re-doing floors-- you have to completely move out of your house. So, having to move my entire family out for another several days to a week (at our expense!) was LESS than desirable. Also... my floors were in decent shape before they came, and now they looked 20+ years old. I wanted the job done right the first time. Our baseboards also had a lot of stain/polyurethane on them that I had to hand scrape off myself. The bathroom ended up re-flooding, and this time caused significantly more damage to the floors (we ended up replacing the entire downstairs). We started interviewing other flooring companies, and instantly everyone was pointing out how bad of a patch job Johnson Custom Floors did in the bedroom. They didn't putty over any of the nail holes, so you could see exactly where the patch was. All in all-- very, very sloppy work. They were one of the cheapest companies that I had come out, but at the end of the day, the job wasn't done right, and I had 0 confidence in them to fix their sloppy work and perform a much larger scale job.

One was a huge wool rug riddled with stains and the other a vintage turkish rug that had some unknown awful smells that emerged shortly after buying but it was in such good condition that I took a gamble to see if I'd be able to get the smells out. I was recommended to try Fibercare Cleaning while I was in town, and I am so happy I did! The whole team were very professional, helpful and did an amazing job. I don't need to post pictures of the vintage rug as it looked great already, but they were able to get out the funk that has been on there for who knows how long. I was amazed! The wool rug looks SO much better than when I brought it in. They sealed off both rugs with Fibercare to prevent further stains. My rugs looks great in my house and they don't smell! All in all, I am thrilled and I couldn't recommend this place enough. I wish I was closer but I will definitely be back with my rugs for future cleaning services. I was a bit concern since his quote was a lot cheaper than the others and some didn't even want to give me an exact quote until they could asses the condition. I had some red stains that they were going to charge extra and when I asked Llyod, he was 100% honest and said the chemicals cost $20 and even explained the technique in removing red stains! Not only that, he was able to make arrangements and come out to my property the next day and since I was not able to be on site during the cleaning, Llyod took care of me. His workers arrived during the scheduled window, got the job done and even sent me pictures once they were done. Wow! I have had a few carpet cleaners over the years but this guy tops them all!…read more Lloyd and his son, Tyler, rescued us on a Sunday! We had a dog who got sick and had an issue on the rug. They answered the phone on the first ring, we're very professional and came out a few hours later and made all my problems go away. Don't believe that bad review. It seems like people want something for nothing and get upset when you stand up to them. Lloyd was very thorough with me and gave me a firm price before he started the work. I will call him again next time I need my carpets cleaned.
