No calls going to a call center, no one asking you to repeat your address, repeat nature of the call, repeating budget and being told that someone will get back. I needed a couch cleaned asap, since it was costing more money to trash it, and it was a health risk. I got a response very fast, which was one thing I was looking for. Then, he responded, asked for photos and gave a quote all within the hour. Agreed for next day. He showed up, looked professional. Acted professional and very respectful. I was a little skeptical, but A-1 had the best reviews so we agreed on a day and time. He sent me a message an hour before arriving and got straight to work. I only had 2 rooms that needed the carpets cleaned but they were on the 3rd floor of a townhome. He was very efficient and even got out a few spots that I was concerned about. The hopeless stains on my newish furniture magically went away. They were cream colored chairs with some of the original coffee stains plus an all over brown color that happened after another company attempted to clean them. The owner/operator of A-1 responds very quickly with quotes and to set up a day for the service. He is extremely customer service oriented and cares about the quality of the work. The price was surprisingly reasonable for the time and travel (not to mention the end result). We are very happy with how our chairs look. Not the best experience. So I'll start by saying I have a housemate who had (she passed recently) a dog that tended to pee/leak on the floors in his room and we had them out a few times to clean it. Every time it seemed the smell was slightly still present but as mentioned the dog had issues with UTI's etc. so I didn't have an issue with just asking my friend to call them back and pay to redo it. I think they had one of the visits comp'd I'm not really sure though. Later on my cat decided he didn't like being told he couldn't go outside in below freezing cold and peed in my kids Christmas gift - a pink tent with a fuzzy rug that sadly had NO backing to absorb any liquid. Her play area then was essentially ruined by this cats dirty business. I called A-1 out for my upstairs area which was a very isolated issue. He was nice about booking but rescheduled a handful of times. Prices are high so when it still smelled like cat urine I asked him to return. Same issue. He left and it was moist carpet and then once it dried it smelled horribly again. I had to them cover the area with a mat because my kid would literally roll around all over and no way was I gonna deal with that smell on HER. The owner even went as far as saying I likely had a cat who was peeing in multiple places or in the same spot numerous times. Uh no. Now mind you my cat had never done this before and hasn't since. The owner made it out that I was somehow taking advantage and looking for free service. Whatever. Not even close to reality. I ended up getting $80 refunded and called it a day. Sad cause I still need the carpet done and stretched which is something I was planning on paying him for. Also soon after his last cleaning the dog passed and that room needs a deep clean now once and for all and we will be looking elsewhere since the owner made it clear he felt we were ripping him off or conning him haha okay.. anyhow. I'll be looking for a new carpet cleaning service. Perhaps with someone less condescending and who doesn't wreak like cigarette smoke in my home he's cleaning. read more

He and his assistant went above and beyond helping me to relocate a couple of area rugs in our home + moved furniture off of rugs that needed cleaned in order to perform a thorough cleaning. He worked hard and got set-in stains out of rugs making them look brand new. When finished with the job, he told me to give him a call if any of the set-in stains appeared again when the rugs dried. One stain did and Demario was quick to respond to my request to come back. He returned with a more potent cleaner that got the stain out.
