Oriental Rug Cleaning is the go to Place for rug care. They have always been incredibly professional with high standards of care. I would not go anywhere else. Very reasonable. read more

They were so patient and adaptable when I had to change my pickup time twice, and they got my Persian rugs super clean!

I've been a customer of ORC for the last 10 years. I buy and collect small Persian area rugs I find at estate and yard sales. I've found some nice hand made and hand knotted rugs in my ventures. I'll always let ORC do their magic in cleaning and repairing them. They are an excellent source and have a friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend them. Keith T in Dallas read more

Amazing, family owned company since 1911. Took my 12 X 9 Jaipur rug bought in 1995 and has been the main living room rug in 10 different houses/apartments ever since. 28 years without any professional cleanings. Now it's so clean and the colors are so bright! read more

Amazing service. I have a Viscose rug that requires special attention and cleaning. Wish I was able to take before and after pictures. But I am extremely satisfied with the outcome and service. Will be back again for future service. Thank you! read more

Superb! Very professional. I'm very happy with the quality and care of their cleaning.

Wow. I called, they came and got my yucky pup hair covered rug, cleaned it , brought it back like new. Exactly as advertised. It's refreshing how easy this was. Will call again! read more

My Persian rug looks great! No more pet stains. Very nice people to do business with. Reasonably priced as well.

We've used this company for years. They recently cleaned a rug that one of our dogs got sick on. It was right at the edge, mostly fringe area. We had it cleaned. Brought it home, and the top surface was clean. The bottom was not. Not at all! I called and expressed my disappointment and they could have cared less!! Only this response - "bring it back." So I did. After looking at the rug, they simply said leave it, and we will clean it again. Never once did they say anything...like I'm sorry for the poor job, I'm sorry for your inconvenience. When i picked the rug up after the second cleaning, they rolled it out and acted like they were dealing with a person who was not ever pleased with anything!!! We will never use them again. Mistakes happen. OWN IT! read more

Ten stars would have probably been more appropriate. My wool rugs were soiled with soot from my gas FP. Not only did the removed soot to my satisfaction but the even pointed out a couple of items that needed correction. Highly recommend. They could seem a little pricey but in my case it was worth every cent. While I waited for my rug, I observed professional repair ladies replacing threads on an oriental rug that a dog had scratched bare. The repaired section looked like nothing had ever happened read more

Bought an inexpensive rug that came home with huge creases in it. Took it here and they were able to save the rug and remove the creases. They were not judge mental at all that I had bought a rug for $30, they just fixed it for me! read more

I am giving 1 star because I have round rugs and found that Oriental bases their charges on square footage, and calculates the area of a round rug as a square. For example my 78" diameter round rug has about 33 sq feet of area (pi x radius squared), but their calculation for charging would be 49 (she rounded 6.5 to 7 ft) sq ft (assumes length x width with a length of 7 ft). This means that I would pay for cleaning of 16 sq feet of surface that doesn't exist. At about $4 a sq ft this is not insignificant. It's not like you can't do the area of a circle calculation easily, there are free calculators on the net. For me this is unethical and I could not do business with this company. read more

I've used Oriental Rug Cleaning several times for cleaning and repair and I highly recommend them. I recently called to request cleaning of two large rugs needed done before Thanksgiving. They picked up, cleaned, delivered, and installed within one week! The rugs look new again and I am very pleased with the consistent service provided by Oriental Rug Cleaning- no surprise they have been in business 100+ years! read more

They did a great job cleaning and repairing my rug. They were timely and courteous as well as excellent in their ability to clean and repair. read more

My awesome, heavy, wool contemporary 6 by 9 rug was picked up, cleaned, packed for a move, and delivered, for about $220. The whole experience was totally cheerful, professional, and old school. Even a billing blunder was handled with care and courtesy. Yes, I know there was a pet stain that was still vaguely visible, but that's the breaks. I can't imagine any service being easier or fairer than this. read more

Experts. I've been bringing our Persian and Afghani carpets here for years. Ellen and her team are experts, swarming over the incoming rug like worker bees. Pick-up is always on time. The rugs are immaculately clean and soft and free of cleaning solution "perfumes." The price is terrifically reasonable for the services rendered. The best way to clean a good rug is the "old school" way--the way in which carpets have been cleaned in Central Asia for millennia. Oriental Rug Cleaning is securely within that tradition. read more

Absolute experts. Quick, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. They will give you a quote the same day, commit to a turnaround time, pickup and deliver, and truly deliver on their commitments. I had an antique rug cleaned and repaired here a year ago. Their experience and knowledge have been passed down through multiple generations of the very same family who founded the company. read more

Excellent. They came to the house and picked up, cleaned, and did the return delivery for three oriental carpets. The carpets hadn't been properly cleaned for many years and had some stains. It took about two weeks, but the carpets came back very clean, unstained, and nice looking , on the scheduled date. The cost was less than the original estimate (which was based on my estimate of the carpet sizes). The pickup and delivery fee was $25 total. It was all very easy and professionally handled. Recommended. read more

Love these guys!!! They always do a great job and are easy to work with!!! They clean any rug I bring them and not only that but they know the history and the maker just by looking at any rug. They will pick up and deliver back to your home. read more

I had another rug company (not oriental) clean a silk rug my grandma bought me and the other company RUINED it--I mean, brown stains, color bleeding, and the texture was destroyed. I called Orietntal Rugs and they said they would try to fix it. They just delivered it and THEY FIXED IT!!! I'm am overwhelmed with happiness, because I had very little hope they could do anything to salvage the mess it was in. The color is back to normal and the texture is back to the silky soft touch. I couldn't be be HAPPIER. I Will only take my rugs here from now on!!! They are amazing!!!! read more

This company has cleaned our rugs for years and is great with pick up delivery great service and reasonable prices . Highly recommend

Complete customer service at its best. Room&Board recommended them & I knew they were the best but I thought they might be too pricey. They were attentive, knowledgeable, efficient and well priced for the $2500. rug that my Dachshund threw up a bag of "BLUE candy-airheads" on. I had a huge-$4K rug that a different dog had ruined ( I thought). When they returned it, almost all of the stains came out! While they were standing in my entry, they saw my handtied colorful Persian rug and offered to take it too. It was so dirty. They called with a repair price and made it look so much better. I was blown away by the service and the nice people all working together to make it all happen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

I am delighted with the results of Oriental Rug Cleaning. I just had two rugs cleaned: one oriental, and one Karastan. They look great! Excellent service, and the young men who picked up and delivered were knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend! read more

What a find! I live both in Dallas and Ct. It took me awhile to find this wonderful place! I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process here - service, care, quality of work ... pricing is very fair. I'd been taking my rugs to another establishment that took forever and I decided to try someone new. My rug was returned to me in a timely way and I also had them cut a new rug pad for me. Fantastic! Happy to recommend! read more

I wanted to write a good review based on 2 separate cleanings of my 7 oriental rugs done over a 10 yr. time period. They were efficient and the carpets were cleaned old school style. The price was fair and the carpets came out cleaned and in good condition. I trust them with these valuable old hand made carpets. read more

They have a false location in Arlington listed on Google. When we called to ask help to find them, we were told that the address was listed this way to indicate that they service the area. In fact, their actual location is about an hour from the listed address on Green Oaks. They refused to stay open for fifteen minutes beyond closing when we explained we were at their listed location and needed another hour to get to their actual location, stating simply that it was Friday and nobody was staying late. They gave an illegitimate address in order to get more business from the Arlington area and took no steps to make it right for me when I fell victim to it. This is a terrible way to do business. I encourage you to choose somewhere else for carpet cleaning. read more

I have used Oriental Rug Cleaning Company to clean our wall to wall carpets several times. Their results are fantastic! They use a dry cleaner process, which cleans so much deeper and the results last so much longer than steam cleaning. The workers spent a lot of time pretreating and working on individual spots several times until they were gone. You can also rent the materials and do it yourself if you want to work hard and save money. I will never go back to a wet cleaning process again! The staff is also very knowledgeable. Jen was especially friendly and very helpful. I stumbled upon this company years ago when we lived closer to Ross Avenue. We have since moved to north Dallas, but I still make the trek for my carpet and rug cleaning needs because nobody has been able to come close in results and customer service. read more
