A few key points to note: excellent communication (polite, professional & considerate, giving ETA notice); very thorough in both explaining the steam cleaning process & guidelines for the drying process & safety (reminding that if you step on the carpet when it's wet, be mindful stepping on wood/tile floors after because it can be slippery); treating my home with care & respect by protecting wood floors, corners & railings with proper equipment before bringing the steam cleaning hose & equipment inside(see photos). In addition, Unique Carpet Cleaning was on point & completely focused on the job (not distracted by devices like cell phones etc, which I have had happen in the past by a different company). I had my carpet cleaned before I moved into the empty house that I had just closed on back in May. There were still stains in the master bedroom and office after he was done. I mentioned them and he stated that that was the best that the carpet could look. Last week I used the hoover power scrub elite carpet cleaner that I received for Christmas and even without spot remover pre treatment I was able to get the dingy carpet stains out. If I'm able to do that on my own, why would I pay a prefessional carpet cleaner? I proceeded to clean the carpet in all the bedrooms and the carpet was disgusting. I don't wear shoes in my house and pets aren't allowed in the bedrooms. So, there is no way my carpet should have been that dirty. Not sure why there are so many 5 stars here. We recently moved to the area and was recommended this company. The office and Bruchard were very friendly in scheduling the appointment. Bruchard came on time but left the job without even starting. We had painters in the house but they were downstairs in the hardwood area and didn't impact the work from being done since all the carpet area were upstairs. Bruchard came in surveyed the area, asked to have the painter move his truck and i was slow in getting that done (10-15 mins). Bruchard didn't even have the common courtesy of telling me he wasn't going to do the work. He just drove off. He didn't return my or my husband's call. Completely unprofessional! read more
