Açaí Bowl
Maria S.

The presentation was promising, the service was good, and the environment was clean--but unfortunately, the açaí bowl was a major letdown. It tasted like freezer burn and had almost no flavor. I've never had a bad açaí bowl before, so this was really disappointing.

Harmonie T.

Hubby and I have been on an Açaí bowl binge lately and was searching for a place that would be open past 9pm. Pur Bowls caught our attention by default simply because they're open until 1am. We pulled up to the building and found that they have a lot of customers at 9pm. Clearly we're not the only ones that crave açaí bowls at this hour...lol The flavor options for bases seem pretty standard. We got the Pur Coco (coconut) and Cacao for bases. They have flavored chia puddings, fresh fruit, granola, and other superfood toppings. I always enjoy getting almond butter and goji berries which I'm glad that they have. Something that I don't see very often that Pur Bowls offers is fresh pineapple and fresh mango. Yum! https://bit.ly/4ewWcjm Glad to know there's a place open late. That's the biggest advantage that this place has over the other açaí places.

Tropical bowl
Claribel V.

I shared a 24 ounce tropical bowl with my boyfriend. I usually can't finish acai bowls on my own, so usually I ask to split a large in 2 cups even if I have to pay extra, but this place does not split the order. The base of the tropical bowl did not taste tropical at all. It kind of tasted like toothpaste. The fruits were really good and fresh though. I like how the toppings were unlimited. The bowl came with mango and pineapple, but I was able to add strawberries and blueberries. It also had granola, toasted coconut and I asked to drizzle it with agave. I'm not really sure if I'll return here. I do like how they close late at 1am, especially since many acai places close early.

The lady working was rude she needs to be re-trained on her customer service skills. They do not greet you when you walk in nor say thank you when you leave. Nothing, no eye contact either. My bowl was so underwhelming mango was not ripened and banana was green and not ready to eat. She also rolled eyes when I asked for blueberries in my other bowl. I felt very rushed, yet the restaurant was empty. My bowl was not filled up at all very bare. I'd like a remake seriously. 4/10/25 Thursday at 8:45PM

Berry and cocolina base, vanilla chia, dates, almond butter, pumpkin seeds.

I love these bowls. I'm new to the açaí craze. Pur definitely delivers a great product. I got one bowl with just chia puddings because I wanted to try all the flavors and in another bowl I got the pineapple, coconut with spirulina and Berry bases. Sooo good. I will definitely be back. Customer service is beyond! The accommodated my disability accommodations with ease. I'm very appreciative.

I loved my experience at Pur Bowls! You can completely customize your acai bowl, which I really liked. I chose an acai base with two kinds of granola and lots of fresh fruit -- the toppings are pretty much unlimited! I also added almond butter on top, and it was delicious. Everything tasted super fresh, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The shop looks clean, modern, and nicely renovated -- it feels brand new. It's also connected to a Vietnamese restaurant next door, which is kind of interesting! I really enjoyed the outdoor seating area too. Highly recommend!

Bowl was good, you could only mix too flavors. We asked for multiple ingredients on it and our server helping us, just look like she didn't wanted to be there. Everytime we would ask something, it would feel like at chipotle, they don't want to put ingredients inside For 12$ we were expecting better customer service. Inside of the same store there's another restaurant We probably won't be coming back to this location

Nicki S.

Recommend nice fresh fruit . Very affordable . Easy parking and easy to find . I would try this place again most definitely,

My favorite spot when it comes to açaí!! I asked the worker maylen to make what they recommend and it's probably top 3 açaí I've had ever.

Vanessa M.

Came here after being on my list of places to try for so long. It was my first time and not the last. Açaí was refreshing and love that it's not too sweet. Very similar to blue bowl. I'll definitely come back since they have a variety of bases to choose from!

Kaylani K.

Main thing that caught my eye, is the fact it's open late. On top of that, was craving mango chamoy but this ice cream is more like a sorbet. It's super creamy and just melts in your mouth. The service was awesome as well and they had late night music playing. It wasn't too crowded nor too empty. I wanted to stay longer and sit but it was pretty late and had to work next day. I highly recommend

Always come here for crazy late night acai, better tasting then other places. But when I do come here in the morning, Maylen is always the best. S/O pur bowls.

Open crazy late

This place is a gem! Had been going to another place and then heard about this business. I am glad I came here! It never disappoints! The bowls here are amazing and the staff really nice too! They have two business under one roof which is different it also cool! The ambiance is chill but also not quiet which is great and they have plenty tables to hang out. I love this place and will keep coming back for sure! Prices are not bad at all.

I've tried a few places in my neighborhood that make acai bowls, and I'd have to say this is by far the best in town.

Is the açaí pre blended or do they blend as you order?

i believe all the bases are frozen. so pre made/blended :)

Are dogs aloud inside?

Dogs are not allowed inside, but they have outdoor patio seating so you can enjoy your meal outside with your fur baby.

Is there banana's blended into the bases?

Our bases do not use banana.

We wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but once the party after us got theirs, we noticed that the cashier came back to the register ready to take another order so I went up and told her that we were still waiting on ours scoops and she said "oh i forgot " Not sure how she could forget when we were first to order with no one ahead of us... Seems like this staff needs more customer service and ice cream training.

I came by recently with some friends after dance class and we were all impressed. I tried the Biscoff Matcha Latte and it was fantastic. You can tell they use high-quality ceremonial grade matcha. I'm looking forward to trying their other matcha options next time! Also need to try their desserts.

Boba Bunny, let's chit chat…read more I've been here twice already, but I'm barely coming around to review the place. The first time I tried this place, it was kinda busy, very stuffy inside, unsure if the AC works or not. Service was quick. Coffee was not anything memorable. I just remember whatever I had ordered tasted exactly the same as the chrome studio signature latte. It was the muscovado latte. Which.... I did not like. This second time was also very stuffy inside. Like, I am really unsure if they pay for AC inside or not. This second time that I had visited was more recent where I had ordered the Hawaiian Paradise tea with golden honey boba. I actually really did enjoy this refresher iced tea. It was not half bad and included a slice of orange inside. The honey boba was very soft and easy to chew. I enjoyed how refreshing it was as it was what I was craving. I also had ordered a banana pudding latte that was horrid. Foam was amazing. The actual coffee was so bad. Like, actually. I threw it away. I did not bother to even ask for a remake. It tasted so burnt. Like the most burnt coffee bean taste ever. I do not know what happened there, but it was a very big disappointment. Ordered 2 churros, they were good. Nothing crazy, just something that helped curve the horrible taste from the burnt coffee. You don't interact with the workers, so service I can not comment on. They have a restroom. Parking is in the plaza in front, which is shared with a few other businesses, the major one being Ralph's. You can order on a large screen and tap to pay on it as well. Sad to say, but I really do not see myself coming back as Torrance has plenty of other coffee shops to go to instead.

The black sesame bingsoo was my favorite - the ice was super fine and snow-like, light and easy to enjoy. It leaned a bit sweeter than other bingsoo spots I've tried, but was still very good. The second bingsoo was a more classic snow bowl with red bean and mochi on top, simple but enjoyable. The space felt clean and traditional, with good service. Decor: cute decor with books on the side and a few tables inside. Service: efficient and speedy. Menu/food: I really like their bingsoo a lot, but what I really love is their boong-uh-ppang (taiyaki). I also love their red bean, which is not too sweet but rich and flavorful. They advertise that the red bean is imported from Korea, and it really is better than most other places. When the taiyaki comes out piping hot with crispy exterior and chewy inside with red bean, it's sooo good. I like their custard filling too. Probably best taiyaki I've had anywhere in southern Cal. I had stopped coming here for a while and when we came back, we noticed that the menu expanded a bit, and now they have some fruit based bingsoo. Recommend trying once. Their rice cakes are good too, very chewy and fresh.

One thing was immediately clear: everyone was ordering the snowstorm. Most people seemed to go with either the matcha or the original, though they also had other flavors like sesame. Naturally we followed the crowd and ordered the matcha. It's matcha soft serve topped with chestnuts, and it turned out to be a great little pre-dinner snack -- creamy, earthy, and not overly sweet. What surprised me most was that they carry different types of chestnuts. I preferred the smaller ones, which were softer, more moist, and sweeter. The larger ones were firmer, but you can buy them already peeled, which honestly feels like a luxury if you've ever battled chestnut shells before. They also have drinks like their chestnut milk too. For soft serve they have their fuji soft serves which comes with toppings. I want to come back to try their other items.
