i've been to this location about three times and each time i get more and more excited. i always order a personalized matcha base bowl with a few toppings. they are definitely generous with the amount of ingredients and fruit. today i ordered a few bowls online and they were ready a few minutes after the estimated time. the girls were efficient and sweet! there's tons of parking in the plaza as well as seating inside and outside the area. the store is clean and eye catching. for my small bowl it was $10, a little bit pricey but totally worth it. another thing i absolutely love is that they close very late! it's such a great midnight snack especially today when i had guests over and i suggested getting acai bowls. i love bragging about this spot all the time, i've never had a problem with the online order or the staff so i hope it always stays like that. there's tons of toppings to choose from and everything is so fresh. love having this spot nearby! read more

been here for the 3rd time & all i can say is we're disappointed. the bowls are really good which is why i gave it two starts BUT service has never been great. the first time we came here, we did an online order, came to pick it up 20 minutes later. when we asked for it, they were never ready so they made it, no problem. second time we came, employees were rude & inpatient. today was the 3rd time. we placed an online order while in REDONDO BEACH. came here about 30min or more later, not done yet. it was only a problem because the employees weren't friendly at all & did not fill up our bowls like in the pictures you see on yelp. this is not worth $10. read more

Stopped by yesterday afternoon for a quick snack. We wanted something light and fresh, so we chose Puur bowls. Ordered the Island bowl which consists of coconut base, topped with pineapple and mango, & sprinkled w/ granola, coconut flakes, almond flakes, & agave. To start of it was one of the best açaí bowls I've ever personally purchased! The fruit was so fresh you would've thought they cut it up for you in that exact moment. 1. Young woman at the counter who was serving another customer did not acknowledge me at all the entire time I was there. 2. I think they're understaffed, some of the topping pans needed to be replaced but they didn't really have the time to do it so they were stacking fresh/full pans on top of each other on the back table. Seemed unorganized, and usually disorganization means cleanliness is also compromised (see point 5). 3. The woman helping at the açaí counter then had to run to the Vietnamese Food part of the business to help a customer there, so while I should've been next, she had to leave and then another staff came out from the back. 4. Because I was standing at an odd place (?) I was skipped over for the customer who came in after me since the man in the back didn't see me come in earlier. I was already waiting a while, but at least the young man who took over acknowledged me and let me know he would be helping me soon. 5. Both my son and I got stomach aches/upset after eating here :( 6. We did enjoy the açaí though. read more

I love pur bowls! The bowls are always fresh and taste good. The ingredients are great quality. However, the staff are usually very dry and unwelcoming every time I come in. They don't seem to like interacting with customers. But this morning I came in and Amayah (probably spelled wrong) was so friendly! She had an actual conversation with me which made me want to come back. It's hard to stop coming when the bowls are so good, but the staff aren't friendly. I've gone to Pur Bowls on several occasions (mostly during evening hours) and the Asian girls give off a really bad attitude, the eye rolls with the butterfly lashes and lack of positive body language.
