This brand new boutique yoga and fitness studio is absolutely everything I have been looking for,…read morefor so long! Where to even begin with all the things I love about this place?? I guess I'll try to go in order - booking on their website www.namafitness.com is super easy. They have an amazing mix of yoga, sculpt, barre-less barre, Pilates, and meditation classes with excellent descriptions of each class and its level. Booking could not be easier and check in at the studio is a breeze on the iPads at the front desk. The teachers are literally the BEST in Dallas! Several of them have won Best of Dallas awards for Yoga, Pilates, and Barre. They are soooo good! The atmosphere when you walk in is beautiful, warm, peaceful, stylish and welcoming. There are free lockers with locks to store your things and they offer free bottled water and towels. The studio is just beautiful. It's minimalist and zen with the most beautiful natural light that streams in softly through the white sheer curtains. They have an awesome sound system and the studio is a great size, holding a maximum of 12 students per class, so it is not overwhelming. Something that is so innovative and amazing about this place is that all classes are videoed and added to Nama's online video library. The monthly membership includes unlimited access to the online library so you can take your favorite class as many times as you want, try something new in the privacy of your home, or take class even when you're traveling. So cool!!! Their prices are really reasonable, especially for all that you get for the money! They have a great location right near SMU and 75 freeway with plenty of parking in front and in the rear of the building. Hopefully I've covered all the key details of this awesome studio! What's hard to describe is the fantastic vibe you get the minute you walk in the door, the really positive, encouraging atmosphere, and how totally welcome you feel no matter your skill level. This place is so inclusive and the classes are the best I've seen anywhere in the area so far. I love this place and am so happy I got my membership!! Definitely come check it out. You will LOVE it!!!

She was not welcoming at all- no introduction just hands my son his uniform with not even a smile. The instructors were helpful during the session- however being that it was his first time we came unprepared without any water. I went to buy a bottle of water for my son only for the owner to place it on the mat and assume that my son is a mind reader (he's in the middle of his session and is unaware). They get a break and the owner does not even tell him I brought in his water- I had to go and tell her and she still did not tell him he had water to drink. DO NOT bring your kids here- they can care less about your child if they can't even do something as simple as pointing to a bottle of water. This session was only $20 but I wouldn't even pay $0.20 to come again. No thanks I'd rather give my business to someone who would actually care about my kid.

None of the students have to sit around and wait their turn. Every class has four to five stations that the students rotate through so they are practicing the entire time. They have plenty of equipment too. The coaches are vigilant and I've never felt like my daughter was at risk for an injury. Some of the students may struggle a bit more than some of their peers but the coaches give an equal amount of attention to all of the students. I'm not certain they limit the number of students per class but I believe they do because there is never more than 8 or 10 students per class, at least that I have seen. They do have multiple classes going at once so sometimes it's pretty hectic but the coaches are on top of it! The coaches are so sweet so if your worried your kid might not be the best and they'll feel discouraged it really isn't an issue! The price is fantastic and they offer extra lessons (like a tutoring session) for a very good price. I highly recommend.

Enrolling our two kids in taekwondo classes at Rockwall Black Belt Academy was one of the best…read moredecisions we ever made for them! When I first wanted to enroll my son, I called other places around town. I wasn't impressed with the language barrier, and I couldn't get a straight answer to some of my questions about their training. When I called RBBA, the woman I spoke with was extremely nice and I felt so much better about them than anyone else from the other places. I was looking for a studio that would teach our children not just the physical side of taekwondo, but the mental aspect as well. I wanted our kids to be more confident! Rockwall Black Belt Academy values the tenets of taekwondo...integrity, courtesy, perseverance, self control, indomitable spirit...just as much as the physical training. That was really important to us as we didn't want to enroll our kids at a 'black belt farm'. RBBA has the perfect combination of training and competitions, too, (if you choose to compete), so the kids get a taste of what it's like to compete against their peers. Win! We've now been at RBBA for several years, and we couldn't be happier. The instructors are AMAZING, they push the kids to their full potential, and they're great with the parents! I know that training at RBBA has played a part in shaping them into the respectful, well mannered, self confident kids they are today. We're so grateful for our RBBA 'family'!
