    osmanthus oolong

I heard about this popular Chinese coffee chain and wanted to check out their aerofoam drinks! The osmanthus oolong aerofoam was very tasty! I loved how the osmanthus latte was floral and not too sweet. The aerofoam was like a dalgona foam but more espresso forward. The bitter profile and coffee flavors complemented the oolong tea and sweet osmanthus flavors. I see that other Yelpers recommended mixing the drink, but I felt like the foam was thick and intact enough that each sip incorporated a good ratio of the foam and latte even without stirring. I appreciated how staff was helpful with recommending specific drinks and shared their top sellers. The space isn't that big with around 4 tables. Would love to try the classic aerofoam or maybe one of their matcha drinks next time!

Known for their aerofoam coffee (basically dalgona topping). Got their osmanthus oolong aerofoam and it was almost $9. The coffee itself was okay - not very strong of coffee but had a good oolong taste. The star of it was the foam - it was strong on coffee and osmanthus, and just a little bitter to balance the milky coffee underneath. It was nicely presented but overpriced for a coffee. There are a few small tables and they also offer kaya toast and other pastries. They share a bathroom with the hotpot restaurant behind them. Service was okay - a little slow but there were other orders as well. If you want to try a unique, fragrant coffee this place is great! But just okay if you want an espresso-forward place.

I've had Pull Tab bookmarked for a while and was super excited to finally get the chance to try it. The interior is quaint, with a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your coffee and/or pastries. I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Aerofoam and, although it was on the pricier side, it was absolutely worth it. It was a chilly day, but the staff mentioned it tasted better cold so I went with their recommendation. The osmanthus oolong flavor was very prominent and paired surprisingly well with the espresso foam. It was also incredibly refreshing. I'll definitely be back!

This is a little spot tucked away, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn about espresso aerofoam? I got a matcha espresso which came in a nice cup (which I couldn't tell if it was plastic or metal at first glance??). The cup holders were also very nice and convenient. There's not too much seating but it was very clean and cozy and most importantly when we went, warm.

Spontaneous oolong tea discovery! I found this spot while searching for a new place to try oolong tea. It happened to be just one block from Bryant Park. The tea was rich and full of flavor. The store is super clean with cute seating areas, and the staff is friendly. I originally stopped in just for a drink, but I'll definitely come back to try their drink and toast combo. It's a must-visit if you're in the area!

Great spot for some strong coffee! They're known for their cold brew which has a tab that needs to be pulled... but I came for their Australian beehive coffee. The honeycombs make the coffee sweet! I love the chocolate hints that I got from the coffee too. The plus was that you can use alternative milk with this one and I got oat milk. I tried their coconut escape series as well. I would have enjoyed everything if I could have used alternative milk in them... that's my only qualm really. Because the drinks were amazing. But my dairy intolerance would not have allowed me to enjoy it thoroughly. Would have to see a series where I could substitute the milk. :) I didn't get any of their snacks or pastries but if I'm back in the area, I do feel tempted to try. They looked great. I love their current campaign where they have these thin ceramic cups instead of paper cups. And they also have weekly social media giveaways. So if you're not following them on socials, I suggest doing that to get great deals. Overall, solid spot for coffee. Staff members were very kind and helpful when I wasn't sure what to order. I love the clean and sleek the design of the coffee shop too. I'd stop in if I'm back in midtown.

Always would stop by to get my favorite coffee drink at this cafe whenever I'm around the Bryant Park area. What's my favorite drink, you ask? Definitely the Iced Osmanthus Oolong Aerofoam (similar to Dalgona). Other Yelpers may have mentioned that their Classic Aerofoam or Mocha Aerofoam doesn't have that much coffee flavor, but that's because they haven't tried the Osmanthus Oolong one yet. The little shop has colorful skateboards plastered on the wall as decorations with the logo Pull Tab. I mean that is one of the reasons why I've decided to stop by and gone in at first when walking by the area. There's a coffee necklace hanging around the neck of each empty plastic bottle being displayed on the wall. Additionally, they're pouring their freshly made, in-house guava-pulped juice drinks in those plastic bottles. Pull Tab Coffee is shared with a hotpot place just right next door. Customers can actually use the restroom located at the back of the hotpot. Make sure not to throw away your receipt just in case the staff asks to see it for proof as a paying customer. Anyway, service of staff is often quick, polite and genuine. Both cash and card are accepted even though it might say differently online. There're few tables and seats inside. Mostly two-seaters with the exception of a table + three seats on the other (farther) side of the cafe. That's also the only table with a wall outlet right next to it. So umm, you better be fast & get ready to play musical chairs when you first step into the premise. Don't expect to be able to sit down for hours and do work on your laptop. Pull Tab is not the cafe for that. Otherwise, don't say I haven't warned you because be prepared to get stared at when it's packed & you're sitting there longer than you should. Prices are bit high but still considered as reasonable since it's so close by Bryant Park/Midtown/Hell's Kitchen. They offer iced/cold drinks in either rounded plastic or wider but shorter aluminum cups. With tax added, a standard medium aerofoam coffee-based drink should be around $8.17. I like taking a few drink pics here & there in different angles. Stirring it with a plastic straw, taking a gulp, am loving it, and keep drinking some more. Its rich aroma of the osmanthus & strong coffee taste bring me so much joy because this is such a great combo/concept for a viral coffee drink. The osmanthus perfectly balances out & seeps into the dalgona-like cream without overpowering any of the flavors. Gotta remember to ask for very light ice next time. Guava juice tastes only okay, nothing to write home about. Aside from selling aerofoam drinks and guava juice, Pull Tab also has cookies, croissants, and half-sliced butter sandwiches. Personally, I don't think it's worth it to pay $7-8 for only half cut up sandwiches no matter what filling is inside. Lastly, I would hopefully like to see way more options for the bites menu in the future.

The employees were helpful since I said we wouldn't be drinking it until tomorrow and have a long commute. They didn't put ice in the beehive one since the coffee wouldn't be diluted it. I wonder if that is what happened to the tea since it had ice and night have gotten diluted. They helped me put a paper on top of the cup and the cover over it so it didn't spill. See pictures. The employees are truly great. I'm not a coffee drinker though my friend is. I didn't realize the aeroform has coffee so my Earl Grey tea didn't taste right and I gave it to my friend to finish it since it cost money. My friend said the tea flavor was subtle that he wished it had more flavor. Maybe it was the melted ice. Though the Beehive Australian Coffee, it was love at first sip. Couldn't stop drinking it. The honey mixed well with the coffee. It was a bit of a surprise. The cups are tin so you can save the cups and repurpose it. I asked the employee what flavor of toast I should get, he said chocolate. It was ok since I'm not use to chocolate with butter. Think I wasn't to try the kaya next time. Never know until you try it. There are some seats there for you to enjoy your drinks and food. If you are in the neighborhood, give it a try.

My friends and I visited this cafe late afternoon, and we were able to snag one of the few tables just as another group was leaving. I ordered the Matcha & Matcha drinks, and honestly, it was one of the best matcha drinks I've ever gotten! The matcha flavor was strong and apparent and in both the foam and the drink itself. The foam was also rich and paired really well w/ the drink. My two friends ordered the classic latte w/ foam. Also very delicious! Finally, one of my friends ordered the butter toast, and it was so warm, crispy, and flavorful. Overall, I would come again!

When I stopped by the store wasn't too crowded. The shop has a couple of tables for sitting, but not a whole lot. There were quite a few items on the menu but I decided on the pink guava juice and the classic aerofoam coffee. The pink guava juice was light and refreshing, perfect for a hot summer day. I really wanted to like the aerofoam coffee, but it just didn't have enough coffee flavor for me.

Pull Tab's drinks are very aesthetic. We ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Aerofoam and Matcha Aerofoam. The cups were very cute and reusable. Unfortunately the Matcha Aerofoam was very milky and didn't have much matcha. I like the Osmanthus Aerofoam drink more as it had more flavor. However, both drinks were pretty expensive ($7.50).

RUN BEFORE THIS COFFEE SHOP BLOWS UP!! I was totally blown away by their Osmanthus Oolong Aerofoam.   I just knew Pull-Tab Coffee was founded in Hangzhou, China. This Asian coffee chain is known for their aerofoam coffee, and now boasts over 400 locations and is expanding to South Korea and Singapore.   Their first NYC location is right next to Bryant Park, and I've been eagerly awaiting their opening since it's so close to my office. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular, eager to try every single Aerofoam coffee on their menu. *Osmanthus Oolong Aerofoam $7.50 A MUST TRY for any floral tea lovers. It is topped with a creamy, airy layer of freeze-dried espresso foam. The bitterness of the aerofoam complements incredibly well with the subtle sweetness from the osmanthus oolong.   *Matcha and Guava $7.50 I was recommended to try their Matcha and Guava - it was very guava-forward, served with real guava slices! The matcha flavor was rich, evident in its vibrant green color.   *Kaya Butter Toast $6.50 Don't miss out on their signature kaya butter toast - available in original, peanut butter, and chocolate flavors. I went with the original, and it was perfectly toasted, with a slab of butter and kaya jam. You can get the butter toast + aerofoam coffee set for just $12.50.   *Salted Butter Bun with Mocha Cream $6.25 They offer a small selection of Asian-style pastries. I tried the Salted Bun with Mocha Cream, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous mocha cream filling oozing out! The bun itself was also very fluffy.

I only tried for osmanthus aerofoam latte. It's pretty bland on the tea part and the aerofoam was too bitter (if you didn't mix it well). I paid $9.26 for this drink with oat milk sub. Im wondering if I ordered a regular aerofoam latte, would it also be so bland? I heard the toast was good but it's a small portion- I'm not sure if I'll ever come back to try it. The only good part was my friendly staff who rung me up and the cups are cute. Inside is small with about 8 seats and it's very very hot inside.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
