Strawberry matcha large. ($11ish including tax! Crazy)
    Sarah A.

I can't get over the fact that my large strawberry matcha drink came out to $11.44. That's just too expensive for a drink like that. It tasted good but didn't blow my mind. I understand drinks have become more and more expensive but I'll keep my drink budget to under $10. $10+ is for actual food/meals.

It's an acquired taste. Ube lavender and coconut milk - I taste ginger. No coconut milk taste. Can't taste ube because of the ginger and some lavender. Yuzu matcha lemonade - Disappointed. Yuzu I tasted is like regular lemon. Just came back from Japan and always love yuzu drinks. This is not yuzu.

It was only a matter of time before matcha got the Chipotle treatment in NYC. Cha Cha Matcha was fine, the strawberry matcha drink was tasty, if not a bit expensive ($8+ as of February 2025). Definitely a nice treat, but not sure I'd go out of my way for another one. If you're a matcha purist (read: snob), you most likely won't enjoy this place. It's all about making matcha accessible for us uncultured heathens.

This is a cute matcha shop with pink and green interior. It was very packed when I went, but there are a couple of tables and seats towards the back of the shop. I got the strawberry matcha and it was delicious. The strawberry was subtle, but it was still delicious! They give you the cup without the lid, but you can grab lids and straws by the door. I would definitely be back to try some other drinks! 10/10 for me!

Everything looks so pretty here but coming in and grabbing the Chai Matcha for myself, everything was just okay. Pretty meh. Matcha was too bitter & grassy, and even with those little wooden sticks it took forever to mix it all together.

    Matcha latte

One of the best matcha lattes I've had. I really didn't need to add sweetener to it; it was made to perfection. Inside- super cute decor with loud music. It's a great place to meet up with friends or catch a matcha latte during the day. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The server was very friendly and answered all of my questions very kindly. I'll definitely be returning here.

    Matcha latte with oat milk

The regular matcha latte with oat milk is perfect - I am a self acclaimed matcha snob, I love making ceremonial matcha latte at home. I do agree it's pricey but the flavor was great. I added some simple syrup which they have on the side. I think the other drinks like the strawberry matcha latte is too sweet for me and not matcha-y enough. But for just the bare classic matcha and the cute aesthetic ambiance plus friendly service I give it a 5!

For the yuzu matcha lemonade and it did not disappoint. Space to study / relax as well.

Matcha and Ube Swirl Soft Serve
    Kelsey M.

What an aesthetic and intimate matcha cafe! I got their matcha and ube swirl soft serve and it was delicious. I'm usually picky about matcha, but the sweetness was just right. They give out samples if you want to try it out too. It seems like a great option for a quick grab-and-go or for a short meet up with a friend. I would consider somewhere else if you plan on a longer stay, and note that they don't have a bathroom.

Perfect spot to stop for matcha Cute spot with tasty match. Limited seating in a casual environment

Cute napkins, cup holders and the straws are even pink as well!

This was my first time at a Cha Cha Matcha, there are quite a few scattered across New York City and I heard about it from a friend who fell in love with their Matcha Lemonade. The Strawberry Matcha was calling my name so that's what I ordered, my friend ordered the new seasonal Sweet Corn Matcha Latte. My drink was cold, and had a pleasant taste- definitely more on the natural side of strawberry with a prominent floral note. My friend enjoyed her latte but wished there was a little more of that sweet corn flavor, she said she could just taste it. The drinks had a beautiful presentation and the staff was very friendly. The cafe was well kept, and had tons of beautiful retro beachy inspired decor and merchandise in the pink and green color theme that is very prominent in their brand. This was a nice treat and I look forward to going back and trying the matcha lemonade.

    Purple drink with Matcha (Hot)

This place is so cute! Absolutely love the purple drink and it reminds me of that nostalgic taste of fruit loops haha. Staff is so nice and very great with their service. Definitely will come back to hang here every now and then and try something new. 10/10 :)

Suni was so welcoming and sweet! Got the draft matcha and loved it. Will definitely be getting it again. Can't wait to go back.

The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
