Black sesame latte seemed interesting so I attempted to order that but they were out. Whomp whomp. I pivoted again and ordered the banana bread latte. They serve them in those famous ny-affiliated coffee cups I've seen so much but have never had before so I can check that off the box. The banana bread latte was absolutely incredible. Idk how they do it but it tastes exactly like banana bread in coffee form. The pandan vanilla latte was disappointing, I should probably look up what that actually is before complaining. I will say that it was not aggressively sweetened like probably every other flavored latte sold. Such a cute little place I would love to try their matcha shit also.

There was roasting coffee bean machine on one side with a lot of Roasting Plant merchandise on another wall. There were different types of croissant sitting inside the display glass. I didn't get one though and just got my blueberry matcha latte. The blueberry syrup was all the way at the bottom when I got it and had to stir and mix it with the rest of the matcha. The latte was not sweet at all and had subtle blueberry that wasn't strong inside the drink. Everything was light. Going to try out their latte next time I come here to taste their aroma and fresh coffee beans, which is what Roasting Plant is all about.

We tried the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk and regular matcha latte with whole milk. They were really good, and the matcha flavor was strong in both! I definitely liked the strawberry matcha latte better though for a couple reasons: 1) the strawberry syrup added the perfect hint of sweetness to the matcha, 2) I like the taste of oat milk a lot more than whole milk with matcha, and 3) I just love a goood strawberry matcha.
