The chocolate at ROYCE is very rich and melts in your mouth. The chocolate is a bit pricy but worth the price! I recommend the chocolates in the refrigerator, they are my favorite!

Bought the Ecuador, champagne and chip chocolate after receiving some samples. Overall very delicious and creamy chocolates and I love the sweet and salty contrast for the chips. The quality is high and you can taste the difference with how rich the flavor is. Great gift for your friends or yourself!

This place is such a gem! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and there are so many unique and delicious chocolates to choose from.

I stopped into Royce' Bryant Park this afternoon. The boutique chocolate and cookie shop location is housed inside a building, so the store entrance is actually in the vestibule (to your left when you enter the main building). The woman inside greeted us and asked us if we would like to try a sample of their chocolates. I tried a sample piece of their white chocolate and bitter chocolate. Extra smooth and creamy. So good! I looked around at the variety of chocolates and wafer cookies. Because I've been obsessing about trying their Potato Chip Chocolate that they are known for, I ended up going home with a box of the seasonal lemon flavored ones. Looking forward to trying them out with friends soon!

Freezer pack to protect them until we get back to hotel.

Our friend needed something special for a coworker who was just promoted. We came here so she could purchase champagne chocolate. While she was getting extra special service, we were tasting a few of the samples. Our favorite was the white chocolate. We purchased a bar of the white chocolate & received the same exemplary service as our friend, including a small cold pack to keep our chocolate fresh until we got out of the heat & could put it in the fridge! This was our first time here. The shop is small and cozy, with welcoming staff. When we return to NYC, we'll be back. We want to taste - and buy! - more of these exquisite delicacies!

Cute shop with good use of space! The chocolates are really delicious and I love how they have seasonal options available. I really enjoy the chocolate covered potato chips and the Nama chocolate is SOOO creamy. Camille was so nice on my visit and showed me around the shop highlighting all kinds of tasty items and sampling delicious treats as well. I picked up a seasonal box of chocolate and pistachio cream bears, white chocolate fromage covered chips, and chocolate covered chips. I love how if you purchase the Nama chocolate they will put it in a cooler bag for you to travel with. Looking for a a unique and tasty gift or wanting to treat yourself? This is the way to go!

Perfect place to pick up gifts to bring home. Located right in the entrance of a hotel to the left. Love this little shop.

was invited to a yelp elite event but Royce is the only chocolate I eat lol - NOT TOO SWEET! Love the nama raw chocolates because they have a very specific texture - will ruin all other chocolates for you. They also do seasonal specials. truly enjoyed the event it was very thoughtful and the staff were amazing will always come back for more

Royce is the best!!! Japan-made sweets and Japan-level service. Royce chocolates are super delicious, come in many flavors with Japanese ingredients, and make great gifts. They also have a bunch of different snacks, like the baton cookies (delicious!!!) When you buy Royce chocolate, they come with a coldpack to prevent the chocolate ganache from melting -- super convenient for carrying purchases on the go. Very easy to pop in and out to purchase some chocolates. Small store but should be pretty straightforward to get what you need. Believe they also do sampling if you're inclined. Personal recommendations are the batons and the matcha nam chocolates, though I've seen those sell out really quick here

Another week and I'm still on the search for the best Chocolate in NYC. I stopped in to Royce on E 40 St and I purchased a box of Nama Chocolate. Royce does not use preservatives so keep your goods refrigerated. These Chocolates are similar to a Chocolate Mousse. They are very creamy and very delicious. Royce however is no repeat for me. 4.4 ounces cost $22.99. Thank U next!

I first tried their chocolate from Japan and then found out they had a small store in Bryant Park. You can try different samples. They have a variety of products that would be good gifts. I love their Nama chocolate. My friend tagged along and ended up buying something too. It's delicious. I bought the Ghana bitter and got a little freezer bag and pack to keep it cool for the commute home.

Really convenient location in case you need a gift before hopping on the train. It's pretty small inside so it feels uncomfortable to loiter too long, but they pack the space with a lot of variety. Theres sometimes samples of chocolate for you to taste. The chocolate is good and the packaging is cute. They also have fun holiday themed sets. They make really cute housewarming gifts.

Gift bag and contents!!!

Was there when Royce had a sampling ! We had four different samples: liquor free nama chocolate, a champagne nama chocolate, a sakura nama chocolate, and then a chocolate covered macadamia nut. All were delicious and highly recommended! I scored a gift bag and liked the treats in it too. Can't go wrong here. Definitely worth a visit!!!

The chocolate here is so good! I love how everything is imported from Hokkaido, Japan. Expensive but delicious!

This was a very brief visit, after dinner out,…read moreand based on the very nice service this evening, I want to return very soon, so that I can really enjoy looking around the store. There is a lot to see, and I did not have the time due to my own schedule. The man who helped us was so very nice and kind. I believe he said he is usually at their Brooklyn shop, but he was helping out in this west side of Manhattan shop. He explained about the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION colorful, rainbow, STAR-SHAPED LOLLIPOPS near the cashier pay area. Please SEE MY PHOTOS. IT'S SUGAR has raised more than $1 MILLION DOLLARS for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, thanks to the people who bought the special lollipops; AND their goal is to raise $2 Million dollars for The Make-a-Wish Foundation. So, if you are near the store, please stop in. Buy a MAKE-A-WISH lollipop. Look around. Enjoy the candy sights you see, and make a purchase. They have Totsie Roll Pops, too!! And so much more, I have to visit again...soon! :) FOR VISITORS TO NYC--you will be near this store if you are in the Columbus Circle area, and the Lincoln Center area. And, it's a nice walk from the theatre district and the Fifth Avenue area, too. NYC is a great WALKING CITY, so, if you are heading out for the day, wear comfortable walking/running shoes, so that you can walk over and visit this shop. And, Thank You to the man from Brooklyn working at the store. Your great customer service made the visit a pleasure!

It's a heat wave and my daughter is at her college orientation. While we wait for her we've been finding creative ways to stay cool. Before heading into the shops at Columbus we headed into its sugar because we're with my 10m old and he likes looking at the lights and bright colors. I picked up a mug called "wake and bake" and asked my husband does it work and how. I then put it down. When exiting an employee in a purple shirt was kind of blocking the door. I thought that was odd but people are weird. She even almost bumped into someone trying to walk in. She then accuses me of stealing the mug. I was confused and said I put it down and continued on my way, but I'm annoyed that a company that I frequented often with my older kids would accuse me of stealing. If you were watching so closely you should have done a better job and watched me place it back down. How outrageously inappropriate it was to try and smile and play with my 10 month old while you were moments away from accusing his mother. As much as my older kids like It's Sugar I'm going to be thinking twice before purchasing anything there ever again. Maybe it's for the best and I should be supporting local businesses. I'm honestly stuck on the fact that they thought a mother pushing her infant child was attempting to steal something so wildly inappropriate.
