I had seen a lot of recommendations to check out no chewing allowed, as people were saying time and time again they have the best hot chocolate, and I have to agree!! The truffles are great too! My favorite is the pistachio, followed by the raspberry! This will help you practice self control, as the main rule with the truffles is NO CHEWING ALLOWED!

So many delicious flavors you have to try

The name is terrible... I just have to say that, and I thought that from the second, I walked in to the little kiosk in Bryant Park . However ... that being said... The chocolate is delicious. It does melt in your mouth. You do have to hold it and not chew. There is so much delicious chocolate flavor. They're expensive but I don't care I bought 30 of them

We stopped by the No Chewing Allowed popup store in Bryant park! It was such a cute store and the truffles definitely didn't need to be chewed! They melted right in your mouth! I'd suggest stopping but this location as this can be a great location for gifts or to sample for different sweet treats! The employees were very responsive!

They used to have several locations in the city but only see them now in Holiday Market in Bryant Park (maybe one other location) other than ordering online. Good variety and makes good gift. Not cheap but they are good truffles by those who have tried and I have bought enough as gifts - the original, the variety box and some of the new flavors. Everyone enjoyed them all. Even though it gets crowded, the check out lines goes fast. Check it out during the holiday season as it comes around fast! Curious to see what new flavors are in store for this year.

The lines are low to buy some hot chocolate, but there's a reason. It's a 10 out of 10. Great stop Bryant Park. Beautiful set up during holidays

The holiday market is a zoo to say the least. About a 15 minute wait in line. There is a dedicated hot chocolate line, it moves fast though. One size for $8 It's small but so decadent, my boyfriend and I could've shared. I really enjoyed it, and think it's completely worth it. My boyfriend thought it was just ok It's not the run of the mill Swiss miss or regular powdery hot chocolate. It's very chocolaty, thick and smooth.

I mean as far as hot chocolate goes... this is fantastic!! It tastes like what I feel like sticking my head under a chocolate fountain would be like. I was originally apprehensive because the cup was smaller, but it was the perfect amount. It was so good I went back and bought the materials to make it myself. Definitely go!! Also, in Bryant Park, the line goes quicker than it seems.

When the locals direct you to places you go, and this was on top of New York to try list. I stood in a long line, but it went pretty fast. The line is for a cup of hot chocolate, one Suze one flavor only, which was very rich and perfectly sized for drinking on a chilly NY evening. I found out later that the store part sells truffles (which are in the hot chocolate). Definitely see why people say it's a tradition to go here and have no chewing allowed's, hot chocolate every year

I read online that among the dozens of hot chocolate purveyors at Bryan Park's Winter Village, No Chewing Allowed is considered to be the best. Curious to try it for myself, I waited in a long line (it seemed like everyone else had read the same blog post). When I got to the front of the line, I saw what the commotion was about - each cup includes an entire chocolate truffle submerged in molten milk chocolate. A small cup (approximately 8 oz.) cost around $7. The consistency reminded me of European sipping chocolate, but the flavor was sweeter and milder (AKA more "kid friendly"). My brother, who usually isn't a fan of hot chocolate, proclaimed it was the "best hot chocolate he had ever tasted." While I prefer my hot chocolate more on the bittersweet side, I can see why No Chewing Allowed's hot chocolate has become a fan favorite and synonymous with the holiday season.

I died and went to flavor heaven. The hot chocolate is made with a whole added truffle to the hot Coca. I gladly burnt the top of my mouth multiple times in order to taste it over and over. I wished I had a spoon or stick to stir up the gooey chocolate on the bottom before I emptied the cup. Well worth the $7 I also bought some truffles individually wrapped to go. The PISTACHIO has real flavor that I could actually taste, probably the first time that I could taste a flavor so prominent that I could tell you what it was blindfolded. The other flavors are great too, wasn't brave enough to get the popcorn one. Definitely will order these truffles whenever I need a chocolate fix.

Visited No Chewing Allowed at Christmas Village. There was a long line for hot chocolate but it was worth it! The hot chocolate was super rich. It was a little sweeter than I prefer but you could really taste the quality of the chocolate. Before pouring the hot chocolate in your cup they drop one of their truffles to further intensify the chocolatey flavor. Perfect for a chilly winter night! Speaking of the truffles...they pretty much melt in your mouth. They hand out free samples inside and tell you "no chewing allowed". They are rich without being overly sweet and the texture is unlike your normal truffles with a hard outer shell. I brought home a variety of flavors to try and I would say the pistachio was my favorite.

If you want to find the best hot chocolate, this is the place. Every year I try to attend the Bryant park holiday markets and this is always my favorite spot. Turns out everyone else knows too now! The line was out and around the shop this year! I'm glad everyone is starting to know about them! The chocolate itself really does melt in your mouth. My favorites have to be the original and pistachio. I always buy a bunch to give out to friends and have at home. There is not one person I know that doesn't enjoy it as much as I do!

The line moves pretty quickly at this place. The chocolate tastes dense and is quite good. Expensive but reasonably priced for the area.

My fiancé and I had a lot of fun looking at all of the choices they had. They're also across the street from a flagship Ghirardelli store, which they also own, if you aren't aware. In general, I find Lindt too sweet, but that is also coming from someone who is a dark chocolate lover. For this location specifically, the staff here are friendly and give samples, which is a plus. Anyway, if you're wondering why you'd want to stop here instead of just going to the literal CVS around the corner which sells their products, you can customize stuff better here, and there are many more options. Along with the standard truffles they are famous for, there are flavors available only at this location, as well as seasonal ones. Some current ones include shortbread, made with milk chocolate, as well as a snickerdoodle, which I didn't realize was made with white chocolate, or else I wouldn't have purchased that one (it was still tasty,) and others. The truffles are around 62¢ post-tax for a single one, so it's a little cheap and tasty treat. Outside of truffles, there are bars, some fancier chocolates, and bark, among many other things. Of course, there's a Dubai option like every other chocolatier in case you want to purchase a cheapo version here. Obviously, the chocolates in general are not as high-quality as Läderach, Li-Lac, and other spots, but they are at very different price points, so that's to be expected. The latter spots are more artisanal, while this is a step up from Hershey's "chalk-olate" and other cheaper brands. If you're looking to buy a gift without paying an exorbitant price but still want a step up from Hershey's or similar places, I would recommend going here.

The great reviews and overall rating along with the fact they had an emphasis on sour beers (my wife's favorite style of beer) made it a no brainer. Also as you have likely seen they are a women-owned operation so another positive. We did mistakingly walk by it at first but quickly found it. It's a beautifully designed space and more unique than your typical brewery space. Also speaking of they have lots of drinks other than beers, including wines, ciders, cocktails, coffee and a couple NA beers. Due to the impending storm they were closing early but my wife and I each got a beer. I got their New England IPA called Sun Up which was citrusy and juicy with a touch of bitterness/hoppy notes. Then my wife got their fruited sour Peach Berry Punch that definitely had a punch of pink guava and peach but the berry was more subtle. Two great beers with plenty of other styles available too. Service was friendly with a smile and took no time to get our beers. Such a positive experience we plan on returning to give their cocktails a try! I've ordered in person and over the phone, and have always been so pleased with the staff. The website is helpful when ordering a variety, but if you'd like an entire box of Anastasia, for example, you have to call the Rockefeller Center store and place the order by phone. They ship once a week, and I always have my box fairly quickly. Boxes make terrific gifts ... including for yourself. If you're walking in, I recommend sitting down to enjoy a few pieces of chocolate, then taking the rest in a box with you. There is a cozy but comfortable seating area in the back just for this. This area is also an ideal place to enjoy some of their drinking chocolate. Highly, highly recommend.

The restaurant itself is fairly small; around 10-15 tables. It definitely gives off that intimate, hidden gem, hole-in-the-wall vibe that usually ends up having the BEST food. For appetizers, the avocado fritters were a great start. They were lightly breaded and not greasy. I also had the baked shrimp in a zesty lemon sauce. The shrimp were a good size for an appetizer, and the lemon flavor was noticeable without overpowering the dish. It was served with a lightly toasted piece of bread that paired really well with the sauce. The standout appetizer for me was the steak tartare! For my first time trying it, I was very impressed. The meat was finely chopped rather than chunky, and it wasn't overly cold. The seasoning was balanced and flavorful; able to shine through the dish. It was also served with waffle fries, which was a fun! Another highlight was the burrata, which was also my first time trying. It was served with berries, fig jam, walnuts, and rosemary bread. The combination of sweet, creamy, and savory flavors worked beautifully for this dish. Burrata was also very fresh! Wouldn't be surprised if they made it that day. For entrees, we tried the lobster ravioli, which is a $10 supplement during Restaurant Week. The ravioli had generous pieces of lobster and great flavor, though the portion size was on the smaller side. If you're looking for a more filling option, the roasted chicken (which I heard great things about) might be a better choice. I ordered the branzino, which was cooked very well; light, crispy, and flavorful. It was served with a cherry tomato sauce and rainbow radishes, which complemented the fish nicely. The only thing I would have liked is a carb or starch component, such as risotto, just to round out the dish a bit more. For dessert, we had the coconut flan, which was excellent. The coconut flavor was present but not overpowering, and the texture was smooth and well balanced. Overall 10/10.
