ICED HORCHATA MATCHA LATTE
Shaelyn H.

Stopped here after my train ride up to New York. I got the horchata matcha which was really good and unique. It had the perfect sweetness for me and the service was pretty quick. Since it's in the train station there's not much of an ambiance but it's still cute inside.

Cha Cha Matcha is definitely my new NYC go to matcha spot. I tried the purple drink with the coconut beauty booster (collagen) and left feeling more energized! The staff are super friendly and give great drink recommendations. I loved the pink deco and old fashioned cha cha posters. Definitely give this place a try!!

I've been to Cha Cha Matcha about 15x now. Since I've discovered the nitro matcha it is the only thing I order. Yesterday it was in one of the awesome metal keep cold cups. So bummed that I threw that cup away. Please open a branch of your business in Philadelphia. We really need this nitro matcha!!

Pleasantly surprised on the matcha here! I ordered the seasonal pistachio matcha latte and really enjoyed the flavor of matcha! I didn't really taste the "pistachio" part of this other than the pistachio nuts at the bottom of the drink. The service is pretty quick depending on the line and interior is beautifully decorated!

Tasty matcha and friendly staff that are efficient and attentive. Great visible spot inside the station and nice ambiance.

Exactly what I want before an early morning train. In my ideal world, all train stations would have a matcha bar. AND they'd serve the nitro matcha, which I was initially hesitant about its quality but it's sooooo good. Service was quick and friendly. The pink branding/interior is a nice perky environment without it being too obnoxious. Definitely millennial but I don't mind for the quality of the product.

Friendly staff and speedy service. Mediocore drink. They were low on foam. Tasted like watered down grass with a hint of dairy. On the pricier side but expected because this location is at the Amtrak station. $10 for a small If you want good matcha, probably go somewhere else.

What's not to love? Adorable esthetic and friendly staff. Navia helped me at the register and was super kind and helpful. They had plenty of staff working so I was able to get my drink quickly and be on my way. The strawberry matcha was delicious and I loved watching them whisk it up. A lovely treat before you get on your train.

The prices listed on both the big menu on the wall and the smaller menu at the register are apparently wrong - I got charged more than the listed prices (the price of the base matcha yuzu-ade was $6 on the menu but $7 when rung up). When I inquired, the cashier just laughed and said oh it's out of date, let me tell management! I would have expected them to honor the $1 difference in listed price... moreover, the menus don't list the price for a size upgrade. The drink I got (matcha yuzu-ade) tasted decent but kind of comically small for $9.50 even after upgrading the size. The area with the straws etc was also dirty and they didn't have paper napkins which is bizarre for a place that sells pastries. Would definitely not come back to this location.

First time here trying their matcha drink which turned out to be really good! They also have pastries and cookies that look yummy so I will definitely stopped by again to try them along with other drinks.

Stopped by on my way out of Penn Station because I've been wanting to try Cha Cha for awhile now! It may have been the location since it was in a high traffic area in a train station but it fell below my expectations unfortunately /: I got a strawberry matcha and the flavor sat on the bottom no matter how much I tried stirring it around. Since I didn't have a straw I couldn't taste any of the strawberry sadly. I don't think it's worth the price since this was $11 with tip. Maybe trying a different location will redeem it because I definitely see the potential in this place.

Such a fun and cheerful size! Convenient location inside the Amtrak station. There was a line but it moved very quickly. Some confusion about where to wait in a line to receive a drink vs order, so we ended up directing a lot of people. I ordered a peppermint matcha. It was very very sweet, next time I'll ask for light syrup. The flavor and matcha were still delicious!

I finally tried the famous Cha Cha Matcha and let me say it did not disappoint. I just wish they had a larger size! In fact it was so yummy I made my fiancé go back a second day! I cannot wait to go back and try some other items on the menu. I stuck with the classic matcha latte and it was delicious. Let this be my official petition for them to come to DC!!

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.

We started with a bottle of the Alsace wine, which perfectly complemented our food and the Parisian vibe. I opted for the omelette with Gruyère which was delicious, although I found myself very full by the end, as it came with two sides. The fries were a must-have -- so crispy, salty & fresh. I'd recommend that at least one person at the table order them, but the portion is pretty generous. :) The service was nice, albeit a bit slow at times. However, the staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere is chill -- we weren't in a rush at all! The café has a cozy atmosphere with playful alpaca-themed décor that gives it plenty of character without feeling overdone. Even with the constant activity outside in the Theater District, it feels like a nice place to step inside and enjoy a quiet break. The cream puffs were easily the highlight of my visit. I tried the Matcha Cream Puff, which had a crisp, cookie-like shell filled with a generous amount of smooth matcha cream. The matcha flavor was rich and earthy without being overly sweet, making it feel well balanced from the first bite to the last. I also liked that they rotate seasonal flavors, giving me a reason to come back and try something different. The pastry selection extends well beyond the cream puffs, with beautifully prepared cakes, tarts, and colorful macarons on display. Everything looked thoughtfully made, and pairing a pastry with one of their specialty drinks made for a great combination. The matcha latte complemented the desserts well, while options like the lavender latte offer something a little different if you are looking to branch out. The ordering process was quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly throughout my visit. Seating inside is fairly limited because of the café's smaller size, so it can be difficult to find a table during busy hours. Even so, it works just as well as a place to grab a pastry and drink to enjoy while exploring the neighborhood. Overall, Bibble & Sip is a great stop for anyone looking for high-quality pastries in a welcoming setting. The cream puffs, creative drinks, and unique atmosphere make it a place I would happily return to whenever I am near the Theater District.

I always get almond croissants from coffee shops but wow this one has to be one of my favorites. The crunchy (sugar?) top coating and the filling were delectable. I got one of the seasonal spring drinks, called "Karl" which is a banana cold brew with cold foam. I don't even like cold brews since they tend to be super strong and pretty bitter, and banana can be a hit or miss, but I enjoyed the hell out of this drink. It was a bit sweet, which I like, and the cold brew itself had a banana flavor when I had just expected it to come from the cold foam. I didn't sit or stay inside as I had to go to work, but there are a few (maybe 5 I think?) chairs along a bar counter on the side. Plants in the window too which I love. The barista was nice and made the drinks quickly despite being there by herself early in the morning (or at least I didn't see another employee). The pain au chocolat was tender and flaky. Some of the seasonal drinks, like the Grinch, looked really good and I'd come back to try one, but I likely wouldn't swing for a pastry this time.
