Daughter had the OG cheese dog at Salmon Days in Issaquah and said it was fantastic. It's a $10 hot dog so it must be pretty good to love it so much.

The food here is nostalgic for back in elementary school days where eating cheese filled breadsticks was the only thing to look forward to on Fridays. It was cheesy, it was made and prepared by someone not using proper protocol for health hazards & though they were nice and quick that really left me puzzled. The ambiance is a grab-n-go vibe but overall 3/5.

Totally missing this! I tried this for the first time at the Bite of Seattle last year. It was heavenly, filled to the brim with ice cream and toppings. I liked the texture of the bubble waffle and thought they had several enticing combinations to choose from. I'll definitely have to give other flavors a try next time!

It's my first time trying Korean Cheese Dog! This was so simple yet so delish! I got the OG flavor, which is a coating of sugar then ketchup and mustard. The size was just right and the seasoning was perfect. A little sweet and a little savory. It didn't feel or taste oily at all.

Had a GOAT cheese dog (ketchup, mustard, ranch, spicy mayo) today at the Lunar New Year festival in the ID. The line was long but service was fast, and the Korean corn dog was delicious- had a perfect cheese pull moment too.

First time having a Korean cheese dog. I got the og with sugar, ketchup and mustard. Was a surprisingly delicious combination! Probably could do without the sugar, but tasty and cheese nonetheless.

I had seen Puffle Up on Instagram and was super excited to see that Seattle had Hong Kong style egg waffle desserts. The boy and I stumbled upon their booth at the U-District Street Fair. They were suppose to open at 10 AM but were running a little behind. You better believe we just waited around until they were fully ready. We ordered the egg waffle with strawberries, crushed oreos, chocolate drizzle, and 2 strawberry pocky sticks. We also added a scoop of the vanilla ice cream for an additional $3. We were the first ones in line, so it didn't take too long to get our puffle. Like most of the Hong Kong egg waffle ice cream desserts we've had, it was a little messy. There really is no good way to plate it. It was put into a cup for us, but some of the toppings kept falling off. It was a good amount for the two of us. Not the best Hong Kong egg waffle I've ever had. The egg waffles didn't have as much of that great egg flavor to it, but the texture was good, and we still enjoyed it. I can imagine the wait getting long, but it's the same in Hong Kong with them making the egg waffles on order. I'm glad I got a chance to try them out! I would definitely suggest getting to their booth early. The desserts are a little pricey, and you definitely want to add the scoop of ice cream, which adds another 3 bucks. But it's a good treat every once in a while. Although the egg waffle itself isn't the best thing in the world, it's a good treat to have every once in a while.

3.5 stars. Puffle Up waffles are totally Instagram material! You put the picture of these sweet waffles up and I'm sure you will have all the attention of people around you asking where they could get one, too. We went to Seattle Street Food Festival and purposely looked out for Puffle Up because we knew they were going to be there. We braved the 40 min wait time in line and additional probably 10+ min wait for our make to order waffle (Smores $8 mixed batter +$0.50 so we could try both the chocolate and the original flavor). Honestly, I loved the presentation of the waffles. They definitely did a great job of making sure the food appearance grabbed attention. The taste of it was just ok though...it was rather plain and not as memorable as I would have thought it'd be. Not a lot of strong flavors in the waffles on either batter at all and after eating a few bites...I sort of regretted and wish I could be making similar waffle at home with my own tub of nutella + Smores instead. I think the waffles may do a lot better with adding a scoop of ice cream (+$2.50) rather than just the current default options that they have. But at that point...the dessert would get somewhat prohibitively expensive for what it actually is...so I'm not sure if I would wanna pay $11 or $12 for a street food dessert either. Overall though..very great presentation...but I'd love it more if the waffles themselves have more interesting flavor or if the combo that they have actually have tasty punch than just the current mix of cute..but not really taste buds grabbing type of ingredients. Wouldn't mind trying it again...but would rather have more options to customize my own waffle either in the batter or along with the waffles instead...or maybe the fruit based one's like banana or berries that they offer would have been a better choice for us..as the fruit would give more flavor punches than the Smores/nuttella one that we got.

BerryO: chocolate puffle, whip, strawberry, crushed Oreo, strawberry Pocky sticks, chocolate drizzle ($9). Added matcha ice cream for $2.

My friends never had bubble waffle ice cream before and were absolutely determined to try them. That being said it was the annual UW Night Market - notorious for its crowds - and we ended up standing in line for two hours. As one might guess, the bottleneck of Puffle Up is how many waffles they can cook at a time. I had picked #3 BerryO: chocolate puffle, whip, strawberry, crushed Oreo, two strawberry Pocky sticks, chocolate drizzle ($9). Added matcha ice cream for $2. Setting aside the absurd wait time, I honestly felt the dessert was okay. The bubble waffle itself was decent, but the ice cream was standard and already melting. Then because the ice cream took up space, there were less of the toppings. Overall it wasn't any better than a bubble waffle ice cream from Blank Space Cafe for just $7.75.

Sweetheart-- A waffle with strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, powder sugar, and two strawberry pocky sticks.
    Karen D.

Honestly these bubble waffles were so delicious, especially since they're made fresh. The waffle itself wasn't too sweet and the addition of fruits, ice cream, and whipped cream definitely tied everything together. I've seen these around Instagram and when I stumbled upon them at the Bite of Seattle, I of course had to try. Definitely would recommend. Whether you're looking for a nice dessert to snack on, or a new Instagram pic, this has it all. Happy Eating :)

Banana Chocolate Puffle with chocolate ice cream, during Bite of Seattle. damn good!
    Bridgett W.

A brilliant idea that looks super good. It's a crafted waffle cone with unique batter/air-filled puffs that make the dessert look super large - and more fun to eat! It's a hit at every festival. I tried it at Bite of Seattle. I had my eye on it all weekend but the line was outrageously long. Finally on Sunday, I had the time to wait for it. I waited about 20 minutes total. I'd recommend the toppings to add some pizazz to the dessert. They are tricky with their pricing scheme to make those an extra cost on top of the standard dessert, and I didn't figure that out until I waited for a long time in line and wasn't going to give up on it. So that's a little bit sneaky... but smart on their part. But overall it was a lovely treat.

It just tastes ok. It's pretty though.
    Ivana S.

It tasted all right but I don't think that I would ever order from here again. It's a little expensive for being so plain. That being said-- I have an extra star because of how pretty it is and because the waffle was still pretty good quality. Take your money elsewhere. If you want ice cream, go get an Earl Grey single scoop waffle cone at Molly Moons or if you're in the mood for something fruity-- hit up Fainting Goat at Wallingford for some fruit flavored gelato. Sweet Dreams
    Huong L.

This is a street vendor that was at the South Lake Union Saturday Market. They serve Hong Kong style egg waffles with variety of toppings and sweets. There's 4 different types you can choose from. We opted for the sweet dreams which came with strawberries, banana, 2 Pocky sticks, condensed milk and green tea ice cream. It was very good, especially for a hot day like today. The egg waffle itself feels hard when you touch it, but once it's in your mouth, it's soft and chewy. Everything went well with each other. And it wasn't too sweet. It is a little on the pricier side for the portion, but it was delicious enough that I didn't mind that much. Overall, a good dessert to try at least once.

No seating or restrooms available here as it's outside. They were also out of vegan hot dogs, which didn't sit too well with one of my friends. For the Seattle Dog, it's a regular hot dog with caramelized vegetables in a somewhat lightly crispy bun and topped with some cream cheese. Hot dog was so good, vegetables added an extra savory tone that complimented the hot dog, and bun was so tasty I could have asked for another Seattle Dog, though each totals up to $10 before tax, which sounds pretty pricey for a hot dog. Regardless I would still come back here during conventions if I don't want to have anything inside the convention center itself.
