I remember coming here for the first time when they just opened and received good service from some who seemed to be the owner. Don't remember having to pay for a sauce for 0.50 cents as well. Today I went and was charged extra for the sauce. I think it should be coming with food purchase as they also states on their menu picking a sauce is step 2 after step 1: Choose ingredient for corn dog. Very cute spot! We did not try the doughnuts but I would 100% come back to try! We had the strawberry freeze with lychee jelly and a jasmine milk tea with boba pearls. I thought the freeze was really good and wasn't overly sweet! I feel like a lot of boba places makes these way too artificially sweet but this was good! 4.5/5 The jasmine milk tea was also really good but the boba was lacking. Moochee is an exclusive mochi donut shop that took over Ambrosia. The owner was kind and welcoming and gave us his recommendations. They have 6 flavors of donuts to choose from. The milky orange and blueberry cheesecake is a must try. You get a slightly better deal for buying a dozen. Prices are reasonable and the donuts have a balance of the mochi texture with a bit of crunch to it. They also serve corn dogs and a small selection of milk teas. read more

No complaints about this place! The family who owns and works here are always so friendly. The prices here are awesome given and they even have a buy 1 get 1 deal from 5-6PM! You can literally get half a dozen for just under $10, what a deal. They rotate their menu so you'll always get to try something different when you come in. This is a small spot that took over the old Ambrosia. When you come in you're greeted by a nice young man (the owner?) at the register. He is very helpful and professional. Their menu at the moment is pretty small, but given it's not a huge spot I can't imagine they could do a ton of things at once. They serve some drinks (milk teas and Vietnamese coffee), Korean corn dogs, and mochi donuts. No seating other than for waiting for your order. I think the place can benefit from 1-2 small tables that could seat 1-3 people. I really liked the potato corn dog with honey mustard. I thought it was delicious with a thick batter well coated in potato chunks. My boyfriend got the flaming hot corn dog with half cheese which was equally as good with a really nice cheese pull. He said he didn't like the texture of the hotdog inside but I thought it was ok, though it is sort of skinny (the hotdog I mean). I think it's best to consume immediately for optimum crunch. I live 5 minutes away and when we took it home it wasn't as crunchy as the time I ate it walking out the door. The first sauce you get (and sugar) is free and the man at the register will suggest sauces if you're unsure. My roommate went once and get the Thai milk tea drink and she thought it was average. Just tried this new Mochi spot in Othello. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. There is a lot of windows and a cute backdrop for pics. There's not a lot of seating, but there are stools along the windows so you can sit and eat, or sit while you wait. The music was very vibey and chill. I loved everything inside. The menu is easy to read and there's plenty of options. Now to the food. I ordered the hot Cheeto dog and crisp potato (no sugar), a strawberry lemonade, cinnamon crunch, and the chocolate funnel cake Mochi Donut. And lastly, the classic viet coffee and strawberry sparkling w/ lychee drink. The dochi was so good. My favorite was the strawberry lemonade. They tasted fresh, the designs were cute, and the flavors really hit. The corn dogs were super good too. Made to order, so they were hot when I got them. I loved that the hot Cheeto wasn't too thick or overpowering. I did half and half for these, and the cheese half was sooooo cheesy! The classic viet coffee was a 6/10. The coffee was good, but it didn't give me that caffeine punch that usual Vietnamese ice coffee gives me. More sweet than coffee. Lastly, the strawberry sparkling w/ lychee. OMG! This is my new favorite drink. They used real strawberries and the lychee chunks were so good! This will be my new summer drink. Overall, I liked this spot. Interior: I appreciated the clean interior and several chairs for seating. Wait time & Service: I ordered the crisp potato corn dog and flaming spicy corn dog, and a half dozen of mochi donuts. The lady behind the counter said it would take a few minutes to make the corn dogs, and as promised, I only waited a couple of minutes before she handed me my order and politely thanked me. Great service! Taste: Both my hubby and I enjoyed both! If I had to choose, crisp potato is better than flaming spicy. Nice and crunchy exterior, and excellent taste. You can customize full cheese, full beef, or half cheese and half beef. I chose half half, but next time I'll choose all cheese. We were looking up the nearest donut place to celebrate Hanukah (it's traditional to eat fried treats) and found moochee. Unfortunately we were too late for donuts as it was 20 min before closing and they had clearly been popular that day, but ordered two mozzarella sticks. They were amazing and more than enough for two adults and a toddler. Almost couldn't finish them. The employee (owner?) was welcoming and happy to explain sauce options . The staff is always so friendly here! My daughter has a nut allergy and they are always willing to dip a mochi donut fresh without nuts when I ask. My first impression of the mochi donuts here is that the toppings actually have flavor!! I noticed other companies kind of taste waxy, but I don't get that here. If the flavor is mango, it tastes like mango! Flavor is not lacking at all. It also has the perfect amount of crunchiness that follows the chewy softness of the mochi. These are the best mochi donuts I've had so far in the Seattle area. I'm so glad we stopped by. I got the lychee, which was satisfyingly tart, the taro, which was surprisingly complex in flavor, and the matcha, which was perfectly not too sweet. This is our favorite place for mochi donuts! All the flavors are delicious every time we went. Better than Mochinut and Dochi!! The salted cream coffee was good. I like the foam on top, it tasted like Vietnamese coffee. however, the rest of the items that we got were subpar at best. with the recent hype around this place, considering that it had a lot of promo on social media, we had a lot of expectations for this place but unfortunately it didn't meet any of our standards. The corn dog was too thick. The breading was oily, and it got to the point where we could taste the oil afterwards. It just left a bad taste in our mouths. Donuts weren't freshly made. They were just sitting there in the cold when we had it. They just tasted like regular donuts. There was nothing that stood out to me flavor wise. It's a little bit pricey. I've lived in Seattle my whole life and can't believe i haven't heard of this place bruh. i just started working in the area and had to stop by after when i saw it. the lady behind the counter said it's bogo for their donuts as i had came in during happy hour so i got 6 for the price of 3!!! i decided to try every flavor they had left. when i tell you these are the best mochi donuts i have had, i am not capping. the taro flavor one changed my life. i've had dochi and mochinut before (seattle and tukwila) and those don't even come close to their taro one. the dough itself is tasty and you can taste the mochi and isn't too sweet which gets a huge stamp of approval from my asian mother who hates things overly sweet. the prices weren't even that bad in comparison to other stores. super friendly employees and clean store! i recommend if you're trying to support a local and small business! can't wait to bust down on the rest of their menu in the future ^^ read more
