What's not to love! Chewy mochi donuts are always better than regular dented over fried over decorated traditional donuts. Food is great here, not crazy about the deep fryer smells though. Cute ambiance but smell of deep fried air- not pleasant. Service is prompt. Donuts! The best. Not for a hangout but for grand and go. I love their matcha and strawberry anything. Oreos are good too but the best is their matcha/ Ube. Less sweet versions. And they are way too pretty!!

I got a half & half with sweet potato crust, and my bf got the monster cheese with a golden potato crust. The monster cheese is all mozzarella wrapped in cheddar cheese and it tasted so good like a grilled cheese! I also loved the sweet potato crust it was extra but worth it! Service was timely and the staff are all friendly and helpful. My only complaint was it was a little dirty in there and the tables are sticky with crumbs all over.

I just bought a dozen for a friend's poker night. They looked great, and were a hit. 10/10. Perfect for the evening. Service was generous and really nice to hang out. The restaurant was clean and menu was easy to understand. Donuts were great and we all had a good time.

We were at U-Village over the holidays, while shopping and walking around, we decided to stop by Mochinut to grab a "donut". Tough to choose, so we took a few minutes to decide. You order at a tablet, the employees there won't take your order so you don't need to stand there waiting for them like I did. Ooops. We got 2 mochinuts, one Nutella and one Matcha. Took a few minutes to call your name as they plated it up. It was pretty good, I had a mochinut a few years before, it tasted same as I remembered it. Good mochi chew, tasty flavor and sweet snack. It's a small place, not much room to sit but we were able to slide into a spot. A lot of people taking photos for the 'gram. They have other items like corndogs, drinks, and some items that I didn't pay attention to. Even though it was pretty good but maybe mochinuts aren't my thing if I am craving a "donut", I would get a donut.

I found the food here disappointing. The space is clean, and the decor is fun, but the food pulls the rating down. My mochinuts around 2 pm were not fresh, and it showed. They tasted more than just a few hours old--they tasted day/s old. Love the concept. Love the look. Did not like the food. I wonder if it would be better if it were fresher.

This was a great mid morning stop for a once-in-a-while treat. My partner and I shared a coffee-donut combo and a half/half rice dog / mozz with a sweet potato coating and no extra sugar. It was perfect with no extra sugar for our liking. Our coffee was the iced ube haze with cream, light sugar. So yummy! I actually liked checking out on their screen here because u could see all of the extra options like choosing the light sugar or being able to see the whole list of dipping sauce options. Overall it's a calorie heavy, grease and sugar dense stop but a delicious one at that. Always a line so pack your patience!

Mochinut was very busy, but the line moved fast. The coffee that we tried was delicious especially the tiger sugar coffee. Doughnuts were also delicious. Ambiance was a small store front with tables and chairs to dine fast and go.

Never tried Mochinut's bubble tea before, but I am definitely now a fan! I always strayed away from Mochinut because I never liked their donuts in comparison to another's but now I have a reason to visit them more often. My friends and I decided to stop in after dinner for our own dessert. One of our friends had already tried this place before and has said her go to order that never misses is Tiger Sugar Fresh Milk w/ Boba. Our other friend decided to give it a try and loved hoe sugary it was. I decided to try the Ube Fresh Milk w/ Boba and it definitely on point with the flavor and boba as well. Not sticky and just the right texture. Once i ordered, took about 5 minutes to get my drink. Line was pretty long (a bit out the door at around 5 pm). Overall, I will definitely come back again for their bubble tea.

I stopped by the ever evolving University Village post holiday rush in search of Mochinut, located in the former Menchie's site (1/3/24). It is still in soft opening mode through tomorrow. The friendly counter person told me of the upcoming grand opening specials starting on Fri 1/5/24 through Sun 1/7/24 (see attached photos). I stopped in right at the 11am opening and had a chance to glance around while in line. Bright interior, two focal walls, overhead menu, and of course, mochi doughnut display and the pastry case. Literally, the retail shop and now my car has such a tantalizing fresh scent! I ordered one of each/half a dozen for $19 and a Tiger Sugar Fresh Milk with Boba for $6.50, before tax & tip. I've never had Dochi, but tried Mochinut (w/Happy Lemon in Edmonds) and Milkvue (by the Space Needle). Always a nice chew and spectrum of Asian inspired flavors. A nice treat to celebrate the start of winter quarter at nearby University of Washington - Seattle campus! A terrific addition to the retail, cafe, restaurant collection at Seattle's University Village.

The store itself is pretty small with very minimal seating. The line was pretty long when we went on a Friday night. I got one donut flavor. The sesame ball donut was very yummy. I enjoyed it. The corn dog on the other hand was not a good experience. It was SO BURNT. This was an incredibly disappointing experience since we were excited to get it. It is also pretty weird that they only let you pick one sauce. Most other places will let you get multiple different sauces.

Mochinut is simply... doughlightful! Not your average donut. It's delicious, fast, and rarely crowded. I've had donuts from several places, and Mochinut has still been my favorite. The texture is spot-on--the perfect blend of soft and chewy. But the flavor is really where it shines. The sweet and tangyness of the toppings are a flavor explosion in your mouth! The only close second I would say is Mr. Donut in Taiwan, but that's mostly anchored on price (only ~$1 there, versus almost $4 here). But the flavor of Mochinut, I think, slightly outshines that of Mr. Donut, probably because of my sweet American palette (Mochinut is a bit sweeter than Mr. Donut) Overall, Mochinut definitely takes the cake, or in this case, takes the donut! If you're looking for the best mochi donut experience in Seattle, and possibly the world, donut delay!

I had to try it…read more I saw this cute spot on inKind after walking by it during several Seattle visits and finally decided to stop in after reading another review that mentioned that they are nut-free. Spoiler: Absolutely no regrets, I wish I had visited earlier! I ordered a six pack with a variety of their donuts and shared them with four friends, having a bit of each. I'm glad we did it this way because I don't think I could have finished some of these donuts solo. I also had a seasonal rose latte at half sweetness which was decent, but very wholesomely came with a little donut hole that was pretty good. I will say, they nailed all the flavors. If you like the flavor, probably a 4/5 donut overall. They just weren't always my cup of tea. So the scores here are for personal enjoyment more than anything - like I said, they're solid donuts. Sour Watermelon (2/5): Holy smokes, this one felt like it was punching your taste buds. It's almost confusing on how this is in a donut form. It's more like a sour patch kid. It's intense. I don't think I could solo one. Mango Tajin (3/5): Similar to the sour Watermelon, it's perplexing how this is a donut. It was a bit spicy and tangy, just as the flavor implied. Cookies & Cream (3.5/5): Get ready to get messy. It's crumbly. It's sweet. It's more like a normal donut. Matcha Strawberry (4.5/5): My favorite of the weird flavors of donuts. They really aced the matcha flavor and it's well balanced for a donut. Blueberry Fritter (2.5/5): This was pretty hyped up, but honestly I felt like the blueberry flavor was overpowered just by the sheer amount of sugar. Texture was good, it just felt so sweet. Overall, I'd definitely recommend for a fun experience. Share some different flavors! Paid via inKind with no issues.

We decided to drop by after eating lunch in the area for a sweet treat afterwards, then ended up picking up a whole dozen... Some notes for a couple that I tried: Maple Bar ($4.99) - Hmm.. Not that fluffy or light. Instead or being airy, it's more dense and has a kind of springy chew. The glaze is sweet and gives off a heavy maple fragrance, an indication they use real maple syrup in the glaze. Maple bars from other places are usually disgustingly sweet with basically no maple flavor - this one is sweet but more well balanced. I think the texture is definitely different from a typical yeast donut. I wonder if it's just because it more difficult to make vegan yeast donuts vs cake donuts? It's a different type of yeast donut, but still very good. (4/5) Chocolate Peanut Butter ($4.45) - Good peanut butter flavor in both the topping and glaze. I think the donut base is also peanut butter but it could be contamination from the glaze. The base isn't very sweet and is kind of almost savory in flavor. The donut is dense but not crumbly and instead very moist. Not really crusty, so not too much textural difference. I think it's baked rather than fried. Still very sweet. (4/5) Devils Playground ($4.45) - The donut base is dense with rich chocolate flavor, and coated with a chocolate ganache of just the right thickness. I hate it when donuts just have a smear of topping to make the donut look attractive, but does barely anything flavor wise. This one, on the other hand, is richly flavored. (4/5) Chocolate Raspberry ($3.65) - This is my favorite, same chocolate cake donut base as above but with bright berry notes and specks of seeds. The tangy berries do wonders to temper down some of the sweetness. (5/5) French Toast ($3.65) - My least favorite by far. Covered with peanuts (which is fine), but the cake donut base or perhaps the glaze tastes heavily earthy, like an overload of cinnamon and nutmeg. (2/5) People who expect the exact same texture as a non-vegan donut, both the cake and yeast types, will probably be disappointed. If I just think of these donuts as their own thing, they're actually quite good. There's another donut shop that I prefer down the street, but Mighty-O Donuts certainly isn't a bad choice for a sweet treat.

This location is a very short walk from the Seattle Convention Center. Everything looked decadent and over the top, to the point where I wasn't sure that anything looked truly appealing beyond the simple things like the Homer or maple bar, until my eyes landed on the banana cream pie. I'm a *fiend* for anything banana/banana flavored, so my mind was instantly made up. And it was outstandingly good. The banana cream was perfection, the cinnamon on the Voonilla Cream was a nice spicy touch, and the banana chip on top added a little crunch to the overall softness of the donut. This was truly the most delicious donut I've ever had and I wish so much there was something comparable nearby in the Bay Area (maybe there is and I just haven't found it yet). But if it wasn't for the banana cream pie, I feel like there wouldn't have been a ton of options that looked good at Voodoo. There were some others I would've been happy to try, but the assortment felt very overhyped for all of the praise I've heard of Voodoo. When I came back from my cruise to Alaska, I went back to Voodoo Doughnut to get more of the classic raised donut and the Chocolate Ring. Definitely a great donut. The store is really cute with lots of mochi donuts on the wall and a pink aesthetic that is perfect for friend hangouts or dates. I got the chizu matcha latte with stir fried boba, which came out to almost $9 total. Bold of them to charge a convenience fee on top of sales tax to make the drink super expensive. I opted for 50% sugar and there is absolutely no option to request less ice. A supposedly regular had to verbally flag to the worker to not add ice, which I probably should do, but at least please add it as an option so that it is more convenient. I guess they want to cut costs and give us less drink? For 50% sugar, I don't think they respected the customizations as I saw the worker just pour premade matcha latte to the cup and then added the cheese foam on top. When I tasted my drink, it was grossly sweet. Boba was undercooked so I ended up having to toss a lot of the boba out, and the boba was not cheap at $0.95 for the topping. Fortunately, when I got my drink, they had a few mochi donut circles I got to sample, and I am glad they sold out of the mochi donuts as the mochi donuts did not have the chewy texture that is present in mochi donuts. I dodged a bullet from committing to a pricey $4+ mochi donut - like other places charge way less for one for better quality
