As a vegan, I have a tough time ordering food at sub places. Publix offers a couple vegan subs, but not all locations or employees are willing to make it. Well, today that was not the case. Starr and Cendy went above and beyond to make me a vegan sub and make doubly sure I had the right vegan ingredients. They were SO busy with a line of customers during the lunch rush, and they still made me feel like I was the most important customer in the store. I highly recommend this Publix Deli especially if either Starr or Cendy are working. They were so attentive and apologetic to all the customers during such a big lunch rush. These two definitely deserve a raise. The sandwich that Starr made me was DELICIOUS: white bread, vegan ranch, vegan meat (don't remember which brand), morning star bacon, violife vegan cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. 10/10.

I'd suggest if you're looking for a decent Publix sub, don't go to this location!!! I ordered this online and while picking it up I did not see the pick up location. I asked the older man working and he was pretty rude in assisting me to the correct area, acting as if I should have known where to get my sub. When I get home I see that NONE of my toppings are on my sandwich. I called to get my money back and was told they could not see the order online and I had to be in store for anything to be done. I think as most would do, if I'm ordering a sub online I'm not opening it until I get home. This place sucks overall & I will not be back & I suggest you don't go as well.

I always shop at this Publix and always get great service, but I wanted to make a comment on this particular day. i went to Publix on the day before thanksgiving at 3PM to pick up all the stuff that I forgot. That place was packed with staff stocking and helping customers. I had people coming up to me helping me find items and recommending others. Then when I went to check out I didn't even have to wait in line and the store was jammed. They even had enough staff on to help everyone out to their cars with their groceries. Wow, that is a good manager!! Great job guys!!

As prescribed. I always call in a few days before I am out of medication, so that I can schedule where I am that day for work. This morning I called in to ask the same thing. When asked, the pharmacy technician laughed at me and said, "yeah, that's too early to fill, is there anything else I can help you with?" And I reiterated that I was fine on the medication but just wanted to know what day I can refill. This medicine has also been on back order for months, and often, I have to call multiple pharmacies to find it and it is crucial that I be proactive. She replied, "you can refill the j day 28, just count from the day you had it filled. And then said thank you" and hung up. I was really almost in tears as she was clearly implying that I was trying to fill my prescription early. I was embarrassed by someone who is supposed to be a healthcare provider. I composed myself and called back. I asked for a manager, Jayda said "she's not in". And I asked when and how I could speak with her and she said, "she's on maternity leave. I don't know." So then I asked if there was a corporate email or phone number that I could reach out to. Her response was, "Mr. Hazell, it's on Google." And hung up on me again. I have filed a complaint with the corporate office and will be having my prescriptions transferred to another Kroger pharmacy. I will stick with Kroger Pharmacy as I have only ever experienced helpful and friendly service from others.

I've had this place on my list for Pizza but instead got sandwiches. I wasn't really feeling pizza…read moretoday and they feature three options which are kind of like thick focaccia bread with toppings on top. Maybe next time, and maybe a whole pie instead, as I'm not typically a fan of pizza that stays out on the counter for a bit. That's just me, I bet this is usual, so no points off to them for this. I decided to grab The Marino from their menu. I really enjoyed the meatballs. They were super flavorful, a lot better than most places. The bread they used seemed to have been more on the Ciabatta side. The texture of the bread was soft and not hard to bite into. The sauce was not doused on this, which was great for me, so I didn't get any in my beard. It said panini, but I didn't sense the bread was pressed at all. Maybe there is something different about this in Italy that I'm not aware of? The sandwich was great overall, I wish it was larger or had an option to be larger. At $9.99, I really can't complain. Coulda just gotten two. Maybe next time! :D The shop is really cool and carries a lot of Italian/EU imports. I was able to find a jar of Nutella that is imported, which if you know, imported Nutella taste different than US Nutella and comes in a glass jar instead of plastic and taste creamier. They also had lots of pastas, sauces and candies. Some Easter stuff leftover as well at the time of this post. EU easter candy is better than American easter candy. :D When you walk in, the line sort of leads to the back and you make your way up to the front. In the glass, there are various burrata's available for around $8 each. Good for making your own pizza or perhaps an Italian dish. I didn't pay attention to what milk was used, but this is Georgia, so you make do. The drinks are all canned or bottled. They had some imported sparkling waters. You can tell by the fact that the caps don't twist off and are attached to the bottle intentionally because the EU requires this to avoid pollution by people leaving bottle caps all over the place. The young lady at the counter super knowledgeable and ready to answer questions. She was very sweet and good to talk to. I came after a lunch rush, so she asked me to pick a seat and let her know so she can clean it up. Very much appreciated that. Place is a little small and not a lot of seats. If you happen to come during lunch hour, be prepared to get the order to go and sit outside or across in the park center of the square. It's very well maintained from the looks of it and would be a great picnic area. Overall, I enjoyed this location very much. I would definitely come again to try some of their other offerings.
