I also plan to call the corporate office to compliment Tracey, who is the Catering Consultant at Publix at Paces Ferry Center. I was attending a group event and asked to bring a desert. From the minute I called until I picked up my fall decorated cookie cake, I knew I was in good hands with Tracey. She was on it! She was super helpful, answered all my questions, and called me by name. I went the next day to personally pick up the cookie cake, and there she was! She was so nice, I chatted with her forever. And, the cookie cake was such a hit with the gals at my event! It was only $22.00 and fed a large crowd. Yay! Five Paws Up review for Tracey and Publix Catering. This store is my favorite as well. It's mostly self service and when I ask the manager if there's anybody at customer service he goes yeah they'll be there in a minute, but it took over 10 minutes for someone to appear and when they did, they were not very helpful even though there was at least three of us in line trying to get some kind of help! If it wasn't so close by, I would not have stopped here, but unfortunately, I needed milk! It went from the number one Publix in my mind to probably the lowest level of Publix represent representation there is! I will think twice before I go here again!

There is a CVS and a U Haul nearby as well as a Shell gas station across the street. It shares the lot with a subway, Metro PCS and a Chinese restaurant (China King) This Wally has a drive up window for the pharmacy department only...I know you got excited for a moment right? The layout of the land is produce on right. Pharmacy, personal hygiene on left. Frozen towards the middle. The place is super clean with lots of friendly folks that work up front and stocking the shelves. They actually say hi to you as you're walking by... This particular neighborhood has a big international community so their international goods section is more extensive than some of the the others in the suburbs. I stopped in to get some diddys and a bag of Iams for the kitties. They had everything I wanted to get in stock....got no complaints.

Motorist was not expecting my sudden stop and rear-ended me - then fled the scene. No stars deducted for this. Just letting folks know to exercise caution. I've turned in before and had to stop short because a homeless person was unexpectedly standing right there. Interior Always clean and bright, but I dislike how difficult it is to find stuff in the store. For instance, they often have this frozen salmon that I enjoy - but, for some reason, they don't put it with the rest of the fresh or frozen salmon - it's at the back of the store, near the ice cream and frozen vegetables. And some of the items I'm looking for are in the 'international section,' but some of the 'international items' are inexplicably placed on the regular spice aisle. And they have a section dedicated to the weekly specials, but only about 25% of the weekly specials are actually in this section. 1 star. This leads me to my second problem with the store. Customer Service If you ask an associate for help - 99% of the time, they are gonna tell you that they a) point-blank don't know where it is or b) it's out of stock. It's extremely maddening when b) happens and later, you stumble across the item. This actually happened to me with the heavy-set, African American lady with the hyper-pigmentation. I later found out that she is an assistant manager. She's always frowning and scowling. And she's always hiding out in the back texting. (I've seen her multiple times when walking past the prepared foods towards dairy because there's no door and you can straight into this area designated for employees only. Some of the cashiers are incredibly rude and if you complain, you're told that they are just shy or uncomfortable talking to strangers. I'm shy too, but I had to learn, at a very young age, to get past it for work and fake it. Rob, the manager, is great! And there are 3 cashiers / associates that are actually friendly and helpful, but the rest of them act like they hate life and hate everyone that comes in the store. So ... 0 stars for the rude folks and 5 stars for Rob and the nice folks, averaging out to 2.5 stars. The website states that they deliberately don't have a way to call the local stores because it allows them to have smaller staff which equals lower prices. One of the employees told me that there's never more than 3 people working at one time. I don't know if that's accurate, but if so that would explain why no matter what time of day I go, it seems like there's always only one register open, self-checkout is closed, and there's a line of 6 or 7 people. It can be frustrating when some people have 1 or 2 items, but others have overflowing shopping carts. A few time, I've put my items away and left. No stars deducted for this because its not the store's fault, but corporate needs to re-assess this 3 employees per shift thing. Price / Value I get my Roma tomatoes and frozen salmon here, weekly. I keep an eye out and stock up when they have boneless, skinless chicken breasts on sale for $1.99. They have really good produce. I also stock up on cabbage when they have it for $0.69 or $0.79 a pound. I recently discovered their whole wheat naan is delicious. And they have a pretty good cabernet sauvignon for $4 that's great for cooking and drinking. Lol. I always look at the weekly ad because it gives me the opportunity to try new things at a low price. 5 stars. Overall Overall, I like this store. I wish they would get a better staff. They don't even have to be friendly, just don't be UNFRIENDLY, and don't be lazy (as in familiarize yourself with inventory / products and their locations). While they might no longer warm the cockles of my heart (lol at my phone auto-correcting to cuckold in my original review), but I do visit them 1 - 2 times per week - so they have to be doing something right.

They just put up a wet floor sign and think that eliminates their responsibility. They are still selling product from this malfunctioning cooler and people are stepping in water to retrieve items they want. This is negligent on part of Aldi and could result in serious injury to someone. I've called corporate twice but nothing has. been done thus far. The least they could do is put up a barrier that stops the water from escaping into the aisles or have the areas mopped regularly so there is no large accumulation of water on the floor. Very disappointing that the customers safety is not higher on their list.

She said she called a few times but I never had a missed call or voicemail. When I tried to call her she could not be located and she stopped responding to emails...so that was not great or particularly easy to handle. I had to follow up a few times and I did get a little nervous it wasn't going to work out but iI finally got the cake decorator on the phone and we went over everything (I do recommend having a call/in person consultation and bringing in some visuals for inspo!!) They were able to do it and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Basically identical to my inspo images (I included both in my photos) . and for only $26. I was floored. I was shocked. I was thrilled! It also tasted so good. Like more substantial than your typical grocery store cake. moist but not too light or spongy. Heavy not heavy to eat. The buttercream also actually tasted like butter cream not marshmallow. I can't wait to get another for my next celebration.

By 10:40 AM, my order still hadn't been started. When I went inside, I was told they were short-staffed and no one was available to shop my order, and I was told I could do it myself--which wasn't realistic given I had a $200 order and was on a tight schedule. I asked to speak with the manager (Arturo). He was dismissive, refused a simple greeting, and stated there was nothing he could do due to staffing. There was no apology, no attempt to offer alternatives, and no effort to assist. I understand staffing challenges happen, but the lack of professionalism and customer service from a store manager was unacceptable. I hope this location addresses how curbside orders are handled so customers aren't left in this situation again.
