From the minute I called until I picked up my fall decorated cookie cake, I knew I was in good hands with Tracey. She was on it! She was super helpful, answered all my questions, and called me by name. I went the next day to personally pick up the cookie cake, and there she was! She was so nice, I chatted with her forever. Be a very nice clean well run great service grocery store. Now it's a rundown most of the employees are busy trying to stock no one but two people at the cash registers. It's mostly self service and when I ask the manager if there's anybody at customer service he goes yeah they'll be there in a minute, but it took over 10 minutes for someone to appear and when they did, they were not very helpful even though there was at least three of us in line trying to get some kind of help! If it wasn't so close by, I would not have stopped here, but unfortunately, I needed milk! It went from the number one Publix in my mind to probably the lowest level of Publix represent representation there is! I will think twice before I go here again! read more

Appreciate everything about this Publix for everyday grocery needs. The people here are always friendly and the store is clean, organized and bright. It's not a get in and get out type of store, and prices aren't exactly the lowest. However, one visit here will show you why this store is different. I do like the variety of Hispanic, Asian, and even British foods available. You can find a variety of tortillas including zero carb. Although I couldn't find a specific low carb brand that I typically buy here. The variety of sauces are on point too, but could not find the Siracha. The fresh produce is pretty amazing. Picked up some artichokes today which will steam for dinner. The deli and bakery are pretty amazing. You can buy food there and eat onsite for lunch and snacks. Definitely recommend this Publix as a large footprint store with lots of food offerings for your kitchen. read more

Let's start by saying there is a reason some ware earbuds. Cashiers was extremely rude and told a co worker don't speak to him he has earbuds in. (I understand some come to register on phone etc.)(Don't put everyone in the same boat, some are fighting battles you know nothing about)I proceeded to explain I am 80% deaf in my right ear due to a explosion when I was young. This helps me hear clearly in crowded areas. Second-The lady bagging my things drop them on the floor, and they looked at me as I picked them up off the ground with my hands full. At the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic I used Instacart for a few deliveries and 1 curbside pickup. Then I realized how Publix was overcharging me and switched to Kroger. When you order Publix groceries through Instacart, each item is more expensive than inside the store and you do not get sale prices. This is totally absurd. You are also charged a service fee. Kroger charges you regular item prices, gives sales prices and curbside pickup is free. In addition, Publix does not consistently follow Covid-19 precautions. I've been in the store 3 times since the pandemic began in March and each time I've seen employees not wearing masks. I spoke to one and she said she was leaving soon so she took her mask off. What part of contagious disease is confusing? Yesterday, I went to the store very early to avoid crowds. Unfortunately, there were at least 4 employees wearing their masks as chin straps. I saw management walking around the store. Why weren't they addressing this? I guess they don't care. read more

I've been to this location a few times and after my experience today, I'll have to frequent this location a little more. Customer service here is superior, especially when you have team members like Chaundra (deli) and Candace (catering). Both of these women were without a doubt amazing and beyond helpful. This location is also a little bigger so there are more options throughout the store. Additionally, they have plenty of registers/check out lanes open including self-check out. Much easier to have an in and out experience if needed. The only reason why my review is not a 5 star review is because the produce section (while big) is not as nice as I would expect it to be. And to exit the parking lot is always a complicated order. Other than that, this location is really nice and I'll continue to go back. Who knows, maybe I'll give them the 5 star rating next time. This Publix has been one of my very best experience in the history of shopping at Publix in the globe. They have EVERYTHING. Including prestige customer service and attention. It all started at the deli section. I requested a sandwich with only one other person waiting. Section was not busy at all. My request was simple. To make a sandwich using rye bread Publix brand. At first I was told that it couldn't be done with the Publix rye bread. or I would have to purchase a loaf and then they could make it happen. It was discouraging at first, until I brought my story to the manager Chiana. Chiana introduces me to Lanette who assist in the Deli department. Let me tell you she step up and handled the business. She made a perfectly good sandwich just the way I requested it. And she smiled and chatted with me during the process. Mind you I was very hungry. At the end I thanked her and walked out to pay. On the way to the register Chiana, the manager approached me and said that the sandwich was complimentary. While I was there I did some shopping, made my way to the produce section where I picked out some fresh limes cilantro and red potatoes. All fresh and arranged to find easy. The store is well lit and on every isle there are varieties of each product and its competitor. Lots to choose from in short. The wine section is Amazing. Stocked with commons choices and rare imports this place has what it takes to take things to a new level. Cheese(one of my weaknesses) was stocked with all brands popular to undiscovered; my favorite that they have in stock is "Saint Agur Blue". Best blue cheese on the market imported from France. They are losing two stars since my review from 2012. This location has a salad/soup/olive/specialty salad bars in the store near the deli and one thing I don't like about the specialty salad bar is that some days they have good fresh selections with a good mixture of products and the next couple days you go in and its 6 different kinds of chicken salad (pasta chicken salad, curry chicken salad, quinoa chicken salad, Greek chicken salad, boomerang chicken salad, chicken breast served cold with some kind of crust/seasoning/flavor blend). I think their version of the Key West salad is perfect. Its the right mixture, but in the last 3 years I've possibly gone in and they've actually had it three times. So yesterday, I asked the lady helping me if she knows if its just served on a particular day, her reply was "I don't know". So then I asked her, why do you all have six different kinds of chicken salad but no seafood option, not even tuna salad, again, she said "I don't know", finally I asked her if she could find out for me what days the Key West salad is offered and she says, the lady that makes them is at lunch, so I say, is that the only person that will know what day its offered, and she says, "I don't know", Im just helping them out this isn't my department". I hate that. You work for Publix, not a "particular" department and if you are going to be "helping out" in the deli, you damn well should know their product offering. I told her, oh, you've told me I don't know so much during this interaction, I was beginning to wonder if you actually work here at all. So I guess in an attempt to make the experience more helpful, she says, well you can visit the seafood department, they sell seafood salad there every day. I go over to the seafood counter and they have something called Deluxe Seafood Salad, which IMO is a bunch of imitation crab meat with WAY too much mayo. I have had several experiences here where the sales associate at self check out question me when I tell them that the price of an item is not ringing up correctly. In the past, I saw organic strawberries and organic blueberries on sale. I picked up the organic blueberries and it rang up as regular price. At self check out, the sales associate told me that organic things are "never on sale". (**by the way it is not true that "organic things are never on sale" because I just found an organic item on sale today and that particular day I saw two organic items at least on sale.) Instead of arguing with her, I told her just forget it I don't want them anymore. Today I had a similar instance where I was purchasing an item that definitely had a sale sign (an organic item by the way). I read and reread the sign over and over again because of the hassle I anticipated at self checkout. At the checkout lane, of course, the price rung up incorrectly. I should have taken a picture of the sign, but because they didn't have any proof the item was on sale, the sales associate at the self checkout had to go to the aisle and check the price to confirm that I wasn't making it up. Turns out I was correct and it was on sale for the price that I told them. On the way back the sales associate also stopped to chat with someone while I was standing there waiting at the self check out for them to correct the price. This has happened on several occasions and it's sad that if I choose to bring my business here that I have to walk around and take pictures of every sale sign in the store because the prices ring up incorrectly. They will treat you like a criminal if you say that there's an error with the price and it is showing up wrong. They won't take your word for it. There's plenty of grocery stores in the area, so there's no need to deal with the hassle for me personally unless I really need to go here. If you decide to come here though, just be very cautious and take pictures of every single price tag to avoid the hassle and the wait of having the sales associate leave you at self check out to go confirm that what you're saying is correct. Also the hassle of getting out of this parking lot and taking a left to get out is too much.. it's honestly not even worth it. There's an open sit down resto (self service) next to their Deli that is unique. +. Food-wise, they have all major departments as expected less gelati station. = Flower department is small but fresh and conveniently located as you enter the store +. Cheese has 3 sections - conventional packaged, specialty cheese deli and specialty package behind the cheese deli +. Deli has 4 contiguous area: cold cuts, sandwich counter, prepared sides and hot foods like fried chicken. They also have a self service prepared food bar. + Meat section is large, carries 2 brands of grass- fed beef and a butcher behind the counter. =. Seafood section is small but adjacent is a sushi chef...Fresh rolls + Dry goods is standard American and big...snails pace slowly adding healthier options = Dairy is large but missing and extremely slow to add healthier options. Almost all brands but missed healthier options from those suppliers. Publix just ain't the same as it used to be... I went this morning (Sunday) at 10:30 and was checking out around 11:30 am. Despite it being the busiest day of the week, they had 2 registers open. People were backed up 3 deep into the aisles. There are associates doing... something? Candy, magazines, go backs, standing around? Eventually, one more register was opened. They also had boxes and beds of material all over the floors in the aisles which, unless training had changed, Publix explicitly tells you not to leave unattended as this store does. They also don't do 2 and 2 (taking your cart out to your car)... In my years of shopping here, I've only had 1 or 2 people offer. Their produce is also terrible here. Moldy oranges, moldy tomatoes, moldy strawberries. Mr. George is probably rolling in his grave because of this store. read more

I have always shopped at Publix and it is by far my favorite grocery store. I've shopped at the same location for the last ten years and recently moved to this area. I've always found Publix stores to have the best atmosphere mostly because of the friendliest of employees. It's obvious that's a high priority. Sadly, this location has been very disappointing. I shop here weekly as well as the Paces Ferry location and experience unfriendliness, rudeness, and no care attitudes. I've had several experiences that have surprised me and definitely feel so out of character for the Publix locations I've shopped over many years. Hope it's not the sign of the times. My go to super market! I can always count on Publix to have fresh fruits and veggies. The other thing that is consistent at this location is the stellar customer service. Today I purchased sushi from their sushi section I had the crab avocado and a slice of strawberry cheesecake. I really enjoyed the sushi. The ingredients were very fresh and the rolls were well prepared. I will definitely go back for more!....the cheesecake wss also very good. This is the most awesome Publix that I have ever been to. I'm surprised no one has mentioned that it stays open until 11pm. Yes 11pm! This works so well for me when I get off from my part-time job after 10pm. I love coming here because it is so fresh and bright and everyone is so helpful. A lot of the employees recognize me from working at America's Department Store down the street at Cumberland and that makes me feel special. The only downside is that they seem to run out of produce quickly. But when they do have produce it is always fresh! I know Publix is more expensive in terms of price but the quality is well worth it. Trust me, after I got some grapes from Kroger and had them spoil two days later, it is worth paying another dollar for grapes from Publix. Oh shoutout to the lady who thinks that Publix should order a whole case of ice cream just because she wants one pint. Seriously lady? If that grinds your gears maybe you shouldn't have ice cream smh. It's called consumer demand. If no one else is asking for it except for you then they aren't gonna spend the money to buy it JUST FOR YOU. Sheesh! But today I had 3 customer service people surround me and act like they were straightening stuff on store shelves listen while I was on a video call with my mom's nursing home. But this Publix is like most of the ones I got to really nice... clean... I mainly to there to get my deli meats and cheeses. This is probably my favorite Publix in my area. I live in Mableton and work in the 30339 zip code. So luckily, this Publix isn't too out of the way for me. This Publix location looks bigger and seems to have more stuff than the other Publixes near me: the South Cobb Dr and the Floyd Rd one. I guess it's because this Publix is in Vinings, a more affluent area. I guess people living in Vinings can afford fancier ingredients and probably is hip enough to use some of those ingredients. If you compare the Mableton Publix and this Publix, you'll see a huge difference in what they carry. This is the only Publix that I know, at least in my area, that sells pre-made wraps. Those wraps taste good. I love the ones with roast beef and pepper. They are fresh, healthy, cheap. Also, their pre-made sushi isn't too bad. It's great if you want cheap, fast sushi and don't feel like going out. They also make it with brown rice. But I would just get the white rice version since it tastes better. Like the other Publixes, all the employees here are nice and helpful. Also, I agree with the other reviewers calling this place "Pickup Publix." It seems true. I call this store the "Pickup Publix" and I discovered it was even given that moniker in an AJC article a few years ago. It is so named because of the young, attractive, professional Vinings crowd that frequents the store. This Publix is always busy but is always clean and bright. It is noticeably more expensive than the next closest grocery store (Kroger) but the produce and meat departments (and the people shopping here) are more fresh and have a better variety. So, now you know where to go to browse the melons and fresh meat... and pick up groceries too! read more

Their produce is fresh, the store is clean, and they have a several brand options for most of the items on my shopping list. Their buffet-style selections for lunch (available for purchase by the pound) are consistently appetizing, and the lunch counter rotates food items throughout the week to give consumers variety. The parking lot is a pain to navigate during peak hours, so I try to do my shopping here in the mid-afternoon hours and on weekdays. read more

One cashier in particular stuck out to me you could tell she was young her name was Mckenzi, I believe. This Publix has Everything!!!!! If you can't find what you're looking for at this location then it probably means Publix doesn't carry it because this location has items you may not find at a different Publix. The aisles are wider compared to other locations and this location is excellent about staying fully stocked. It is to be expected that on a holiday weekend, the shelves are going to clear very fast (especially the bread aisle) however expect everything to be right with the world once the holiday storm has passed. The staff are very helpful. I needed Kobe Steak Burgers but they were out and only had Kobe ground beef. Carlos in meat zoomed into my dazed and confused look as I tried to figure out how many packages of ground beef I need to make into burgers. He told me I needed two packages but then volunteered to make them into burger patties for me. Big Ups to Carlos!!!! Anyone that knows me knows that I have an obsession with Jelly Belly jelly beans. This location is the only location in Atlanta (that I'm aware of) that has the Jelly Belly dispensers that allow you to make your own candy mix. I'm picky about my flavors so this ensures I only get the flavors I like versus having to pick through a packaged bag. Now, due to location and popularity this store does get packed. Ask any of my friends and they'll tell you that I spend a lot of my time in Publix...a lot. The joke is that whenever they call me, I'm in always at Publix. Somehow, that usually manages to be true. I love Publix, and I really love this particular store. This is one of those grocery stores that I look forward to visiting (please can I do my chores, mommy?!). They carry more of the items that I like...and I always leave there in such a good mood. Even if it is more expensive, I just keep coming back for the fun of it. Publix is retail therapy...grocery store style! The produce is fresher than other grocery stores (*ahem* kroger...blah), the meat is not scary looking and there's a huge selection, the pharmacists here are the most friendly around as well as the cashiers, there's a variety of salads, wraps, sushi, fresh convenient food for those times you wanna eat without any prep work or cooking. The absolute BEST thing about this particular Publix is that they make fresh guava, guava/cheese and coconut pastries. Oh so fabulous! I've been to many Publix, Kroger, Food Lion, hell, even Piggly Wiggly and this Publix is incredibly slow at everything. There could be one person in line at the deli and you'll still wait 30 minutes. I get taking your time, but my lord. You put in an order online and you'll wait 30 minutes after when it's supposed to be done. Customer service can't be reviewed because there is none and the amount of times I've gone in on a Sunday and had to wait 30 minutes in the self checkout line with a full cart of groceries because there were literally no lines open is mind blowing. I know places are short staffed but this has been an issue long before COVID and/or supply chain issues. If you have a ton of time to dedicate to shopping, this place is fine but my god do these workers operate insanely slow. read more

Part of the reason we renewed our lease at our apartment complex was our proximity to this Publix. No, really. This Publix is the largest one in the state of Georgia and has nearly everything you could need. I've always been a Publix shopper, not only is it more organized than many other grocery stores but it is also so much cleaner. I try to shop elsewhere for better deals, but the control-freak side of me just can't deal with the chaos of other grocery stores (ahem Kroger). The staff here is always exceptionally nice and more than happy to help you out with finding stuff and even giving you a deal when they don't have exactly what you need. My only negative comment is that I sometimes can have difficulty in the produce section. I think their truck comes sometime during the week and we tend to shop on weekends when they're already out of bananas, salad mixes, and tomatoes. read more

I love this Publix! The staff are genuinely helpful and friendly. They have special-ordered items for me several times--for free--and they now keep them in stock for me on the "special orders" aisle near the pharmacy. This Publix is clean and organized, and they have a nice selection of organic and health items, though they are cheaper at Whole Foods. Guys--in my apartment complex, this Publix is known as "The Pick-Up Publix" because of all the single, attractive, professional women who go there after work. More like 3.5 stars...just okay in my book. I mainly shop at Kroger since it's cheaper and they have the same grocery items I need for the most part. I buy alkaline water from here, and occasionally stop by the deli. Customer service is severely lacking! I had to wait to get someone to help me at the deli for quite some time, and when the lady acknowledged me she didn't small or seem excited to be working or helping me. The register lady was the same, not rude but not friendly either. Smh! I will try to come here less and less, if only Kroger sold alkaline water and had a similar sub set-up I would shop their exclusively.
