I'm glad that this big Publix in Chamblee right on Peachtree Industrial. It's not the closest Publix to where I live, but I can get here quickly using non-major streets that are not that busy. A large parking lot awaits customers shopping here, and this lot is shared by many nearby businesses that are in the same shopping mall. This Publix is well maintained and clean. The physical area of the produce and fresh fruits is on the small side, even for a large Publix, but this concept is in keeping with the trends that I've noticed with newer Publix locations. Good thing that this Publix has a big combined deli, hot foods, and sandwich area. That area is very much alive and busy. All of the foods in that area look fresh and delicious. Walking throughout the store, everything looks organized and the shelves are well stocked. The aisles are wide, so customers don't have to worry about narrow aisles causing bottlenecks. The employees are helpful, although they don't appear to go out of their way to help anyone. Prices at Publix are generally higher than their competitors; however, Publix Brand, Publix Premium, and GreenWise products are owned by Publix, are less expensive than popular national brands, and have just about the same quality. When store items are on sale, customers don't need to have coupons to get the reduced prices. My favorite things to get at this Publix are the bananas, which seem to always be green with no bruises on them, the sandwiches, which the employees make while you watch them, and the hot foods. All of these are fresh!

Upon entry, the warm smells of steaming sweet potatoes greets you! I think you can buy a bag & snack while you shop! I highly recommend eating BEFORE you go here, or you'll be tempted to buy a little bit of EVERYTHING! All the eastern Asian flavors and popular brands as well as the generics, Latin items, American staples, from fresh to frozen! The fresh seafood and hot deli items was cool. There were people stocking more things while I was there on a mid-Friday. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were around in case I had a question. There are cafe vendors and a dining area past the cashiers. They had Korean BBQ, hot dog on a stick, shave ice, & more. There's even a minimal area offering clothing and Korean skincare! For the kids (& the kid in you), there was an arcade including the Gacha games! Prices weren't outrageous and actually comparable to other international markets. Now that I know where I can get all my childhood delicacies, I'll be coming here often!!

Outside of the grocery side, there is a good size food court section and many cute boutique shops that sell skincare products, cute Asian items and clothing. Friendly service. Price is not any cheaper compare to the east cost Hmart, but quality is consistent. Large shopping center with ample parking. Highly recommend.

Simply put, it's not in the nicest of neighborhoods. This is the place to go when you need something that you can't find at one of the bigger Asian supermarkets like H Mart, Hong Kong Supermarket, Assi, etc. They do sell certain foods (meat, produce, ready-to-eat foods, canned goods, refrigerated items, etc.) that are difficult or impossible to find anywhere else. Obviously, an emphasis is placed on Southeast Asian foods, mainly Vietnamese. This is presumably a Vietnamese-owned and operated business. My receipt shows "Cho Ba Hue" as the business name. This place isn't the cleanest. I guess it's what you'd expect of a Vietnamese market. It's like the Tomato (Japanese grocery) for Viet people. It's about the same size too -- medium-sized grocery store. Note there is a lofty $20 credit card minimum.

Your best bet will generally be to always purchase their private label brand "365" compared to other brands, or get stuff when it is on sale. Otherwise, do expect to give them your whole "wallet" to shop here. Generally, you are better off buying produce down the street at Costco, or basic kitchen stuff (soap, laundry detergent), as they do charge a big premium on those products. [Tip] - I have noticed that, considering that Amazon owns Whole Foods, quite a few of the products they sell are cheaper on the app than inside the store. This I do find odd, so if you order $25 on the Amazon website, you can buy certain whole foods items and get free delivery, and get those items cheaper. For example, juice might be $2 or $2.50 with free home delivery, but inside the store it is $4.50 or $5. [Review 752] - 25th Review of 2025

A trip around the world and a walk down memory lane…read more It's been decades since I stepped foot inside the Buford Highway Farmers Market, and being back felt like a beautiful reunion. The last time I walked these aisles, I was with my mama, Donna Theresa. So much has changed since then, yet the soul of this place remains as vibrant as ever. It feels more expansive than I remember. A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. Coming back here wasn't just a grocery trip; it was a win for my palate and my heart. Now that I'm back in the area, you can bet this is becoming a regular stop on my rotation. I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

This newly remodeled store is fantastic, very clean. All the staff are nice and helpful. I would definitely recommond this store for a visit if you are in the area. As is usual for a Kroger, the place was maintained clean and neat, well lit and stocked. I was able to go directly to the two items I needed, grab them, and go through self-checkout with no troubles whatsoever. This Kroger location also has gas pumps outside which makes is pretty convenient. The prices at this store are generally pretty competitive too so that's good. The only con is that there are not that many manned checkout counters and you have to use the self checkout version. They have a good selection of most other varieties of wines and beer, but yet their craft beer and can beer choices are very limited.
