I have shopped here every week for more than 25 years. As time has gone on, I have noticed I am buying more of my staples here and only going to the major chains for very specific items. Staff is super friendly but the layout is really odd at this location and very different than most other locations. So it's a bit of and anytime I am here. It's a good size though. They do seem to be sold out of items I Ho here specifically for more often than not which is a bummer and it's not super easy to get to. And true to almost all location but especially here the parrot is a nightmare. Like one of the worst TJ parking lots I have encountered. read more

This was my first time visiting Trader Joe's, and I plan to return. The store offers a nice variety of unique products at reasonable prices, and I'm interested in trying more on future visits. The parking lot is tight, and getting in and out can be a bit challenging. The store was busy, but it was still easy enough to move through the aisles. Not my favorite TJ's as it feels much smaller than others and with terrible parking, but I've found that the best time to come on the weekend is Saturday evening, 7:30ish (date night, anyone?). If you try a weekend daytime the place is totally mobbed. I already hate going to Buckhead so anything to make it more tolerable. The only downside is sometimes they are out of some of the fresher items like flowers and herbs by evening time. I love strolling the aisles and seeing what new, and beloved, treasures I can find. You feel like a million bucks when that thing you saw on instagram is actually in stock. The staff is all extremely friendly and helpful. read more

If you don't know Trader Joe, let me introduce you!! Of all the grocery stores and of all Trader Joe locations, this one on Peachtree Road is my favorite! Mr. Joe has lots of items in his own brand name! It is not random knock off staple items that are barely eatible. His items are well loved as you can tell by the full parking lot! People visit him once and become regulars at his store! Believe me when I say I've bought all of Trader Joe's brands. I drive a small car and pack it wall to wall, inside the car and fill the trunk when I shop! The cleaning items, lotions, and seasonable items are worth the drive, if you don't have a location near your home! If Trader Joe had a hotel brand I would live next door to him and have the store as a neighbor so I could walk next door when I run out of tea and cookies! read more

Customer service is still top tier here. This place has an extremely small parking lot and it is hectic getting in and out. It will take you about 5 minutes to park but be patient. People are constantly coming in and out. The store itself is considered small for a grocery store but they have a ton of items. Trader Joe's is like an upscale Aldi's. This place has plenty of exclusive snack and single meals. I really like their wine and beer section. $6 for a 6 pack is just what I needed. Even though the store was packed, it took me less than 3 minutes to check out. They have all lanes open with cashiers. I will return and try more treats. read more

This is the best Trader Joe's in the city - hands down. Let's address the elephant in the room - yes, parking is basura lol. But we know how parking can be in this fabulous city. I was super surprised to see a major line outside of TJ's with folks waiting for a parking spot in their lot. Lucky me, I'm too impatient to wait too long and ventured over to the adjoining lot and found a fantastic spot within seconds vs. waiting in the line outside of the store. It was a short walk over but nothing at all to complain about imo. Walking up and grabbing a cart was easy, as they were all setup and organized outside of the store, not sprawled across the lot like I often see at grocery stores. And my entry into the store was even better as I always feel like TJ's does a great job with their layouts and making the store not feel too cramped and crowded, despite the number of guests. With the flowers located at the front, it's always a fresh welcome! The store was incredibly easy to maneuver through, shelves were stocked and the team members working around the aisles were so helpful but not pushy lol. The real winner in this location? The wine selection. Omg. I don't think I've ever visited another Trader Joe's that had a collection to rival what I experienced in Buckhead. Aisles and aisles of vino, all types! I walked out with 6 bottles of wine LOL. The team members at this location were just as sweet as they always are, like where does Trader Joe's find these unicorns? I like this location better than the Sandy Springs location. It's not as cramped, and a Big plus is that their flowers aren't crammed so closely better together (or bruised). I noticed that some items are a little more expensive, but when averaging, the tab comes out about the same. I'm hoping their produce from this location hinds up a little better than the SS location (fingers crossed) Parking is still tight, so safe travels! read more

Came to see what all the fuss about TJ was about. Not sure if this is a smaller store or if it's typical of their size all over. Didn't really do much shopping. There seems to be a thing with flowers here as lots of people had them in their cart. Maybe I'll take a closer look next time. Got a HUGE chocolate bar to make chocolate chip cookies.... This location resembles a neighborhood market for people who reside in the area. Based on how the GPS, this Trader Joe's is right behind a residential neighborhood. Upon entering this place has the best food items hands down. Like top tier quality meats and the best produce. They even offer various kinds of non dairy milks and coffee creamers. I got their organic navel oranges and man they are packed with juice and sweetness. It was truly a treat and so good! For a healthier snack options I purchased the Cajun plantain chips and trail mix. If you're looking for quality food then I would suggest you give Trader Joe's a try. read more

This Trader Joe's is the one I frequently go to, as this is the closest one to me, and I live in Buckhead. So this location is only about 10 minutes from me. Every experience here has been a pleasant one. The staff is always so friendly, they always have all items in stock, it's clean, and overall it's always such a good shopping experience when I come. The only reason why I am giving this location 4 stars is because of the parking. There is NEVER any parking when I come and I'm always scrambling for 5-10 minutes before I end up find a parking spot. The parking lot is designed very poorly and there are not that many spots at all. So if you plan on coming after 5PM on a weekday or anytime on the weekend (which is when I generally come), prepare to wait for a few minutes before actually find a parking spot. Other than that, this location is great! Will most definitely be back sometime soon. read more

Trader Joes is the 21st centuries go to food store. They have a variety of whole foods and some GMO as well, but overall they are transparent with business practices and supporting local farmers. I love the consistency of how the store is arranged with easy to find goods (the corn dip chips are FIRE!!) and just about everything is fairly priced. The people at all locations appear to come from the same cloth, meaning that they service, the style, the energy is consistent throughout the country. I only wish there was one closer to my home - the process is easy to return items, the quality is above average. I gave it 4 stars to await my next review! So although this is a good location, this evening was not the best shopping experience. I am used to the employees especially when checking out being friendly, having a conversation, asking me how I am doing, etc. I had someone checking me out named, Latayia, and she seemed blah, or annoyed. She barely spoke to me, I tried to talk during the transaction, and it was crickets, no eye contact, and barely said anything after finished. It was very uncomfortable and I didn't like it because I spent well over $200 and expected better service and greeting the way all the employees usually are. That left a sour taste in my mouth, please be mindful moving forward. read more

I shop at Trader Joe's often, but usually at the midtown location on Monroe. Today, I happened to be near the Buckhead location and needed to stop in for a few things. I grabbed my green juice, pasta, some fresh flowers & made my way to the checkout, only to be greeted by Miah. Miah was gentle but welcoming, as she commented on the flowers in my basket, which lead to us discussing how we both appreciate good scents. She personally lead me to the candle area & gave me some great recommendations & we chatted like old friends, not strangers who had just met. This is the customer service I expect from TJ's but it was amplified x10. I'll definitely be back soon. read more

We all know that Trader Joe's are all pretty much the same but this one is head and shoulders above any I've ever been in as far as the quality of the store goes. There is a ridiculous amount of parking! Like so many parking spots! Which is the antithesis of typical Trader Joe's. In addition to having the usual very nice clean restrooms, this strangely shaped store has really nice wide aisles. The final cherry on top of the cake is the outdoor seating at the back of the parking lot. Plenty of picnic tables for eating your tasty TJ's treats! This is Trader Joe's Buckhead, store #735, and it opened October 24, 2008. I remember when there were no Trader Joe's in Atlanta and it was exciting when they made their way over here from the West Coast. This Trader Joe's opened next door to popular Moondogs and other Buckhead bars. They have a free parking in the back. The lot seems big enough, but I can see parking difficult to find during peak times. My wife likes Trader Joe's because they've got cool, high-quality, and unique products at pretty affordable prices. However, it's not a one-stop shop. We have to go to other grocery stores to get other essential items. And generally, Trader Joe's produce isn't always the freshest. We stopped by this location to pick up some groceries after our dance lesson across the street at Daza Dance Ballroom Academy. We picked up Ezekiel sprouted sesame bread ($4.49), Sunkist Golden Nugget mandarins (2-pound bag for $3.29), organic reduced-sugar strawberry preserves/spread ($3.49), mixed nut butter ($5.99), dark Morello cherries ($2.99), organic "power" greens (5-ounce bagged salad, $2.49), and organic yellow lentil and brown rice pasta ($5.98 for two 12-ounce packs, spaghetti). Most of this was Trader Joe's brand stuff which is mostly what this chain sells. Ezekiel is one of my wife's favorite bread brands. In sprouted sesame bread, the grains are sprouted before being baked into the bread. The mandarins were juicy and sweet. I prefer Halos because their skin peels more cleanly, but these were good too. My wife loves Trader Joe's strawberry spread. She's been buying it for over 10 years now. The mixed nut butter is good. It's tasty, but a little bit on the oily side. We were lucky to get the Morello cherries. They're hard to find fresh and I think they're only available during certain times of the year. My wife used them to make me a cherry pie for my birthday. Morello cherries are sour cherries and they were in a light syrup so they weren't too sweet. The power greens were fresh and crisp. I ate them raw directly out of the bag like potato chips. Inside was baby kale, baby red chard, baby spinach, baby collard greens, baby mizuna, and frisee. As for the pasta, we liked that it was high in both protein and fiber. Customer service was great. Jen rang us up and she was friendly. This isn't our neighborhood Trader Joe's, but we'd come back if we happen to be in the area. read more

My go to market for over a decade & each time I'm back in Atlanta, it's a must I come here. Before my arrival, I sent my ManBaby on a mission for his graduation celebratory gathering & he didn't disappoint...with the slight exception of selecting the Wine, Guacamole & Salsas. & because T to the J is so welcoming & helpful, I was able to exchange the dairy filled Guac for a Vegan version & get my preferred Salsa. If you haven't tried the Pineapple Salsa you're missing out. My ManBaby told me, "You got to be more clearer than just red & white wine"...he's absolutely right as the selection of Charles Shaw 'Two Buck Chuck' is growing. The normal TJ blueprint of a clean, organized, & outgoing employees makes your shopping visit an inexpensive & positive experience. Multiple Sample Stations & every car gets a space as the parking lot is enormous with three points of entry/exits. For 25 guests to nosh, sip on 6 bottles of Wine & 3 bottles of Champagne for under $100 was a graduation gift to myself. read more

Trader Joe's has always been my happy place, normally I frequent here once a week but since covid-19 I limit my shopping to every 2weeks. I appreciate all the safety precautions that Trader Joe's and the entire staff at this location from the beginning. Normally everyone here is very friendly and helpful and they have gone above and beyond through these trying times. When you come to this location there are X's outside 6ft apart to practice social distancing to line up safely outside. They only let a small amount of people inside at a time and they sanitizer your cart, provide wipes and or hand sanitizer before you enter. Workers have been working around the clock restocking items, keeping the store extra clean, and being extra helpful to people during these trying times all with a calm pleasant attitude. Location - This location always has my favorite staple items and I always find something new to try. Paper Products - This is the only place I was able to find toilet paper, paper towel and travel hand sanitizer during the whole shortage which came in handy. The only con about this store is the parking as the lot is tight and can be a pain during peak hours which I avoid. read more

I love this Trader Joe's! Albeit it isn't much different in the actual products but a few things set it apart from the other locations I have been to: 1. Produce always looks great and last long. A plus when you are shopping for 1-2 and always end up throwing produce that turn bad when not used within 5-7 days. 2. Great selection of flowers. Maybe it's me but I always feel that they have a wider variety of flowers 3. Friendly staff! It's always a plus to be around a friendly/happy environment. 4. Always have 2-3 food/beverage samplings 5. Big on hygiene! A definite plus in the flu season. I have seen them throw away samplers even if someone touches the cup it's served in. 6. Location: If you are like me who picks up certain items from certain grocery store you will appreciate this. This TJ location has several other grocery stores (Whole Foods,aldi, Kroger)within a few min drive. Only con: parking is limited which is painful during peak times(weekends)but even then I haven't had to look for parking for more than 3-5 mins. This is my home away from home! Where do I start!? This is like Target for me- I come in for one thing and pick up 75 others along the way. They have an awesome selection of TJ snacks, sauces, frozen foods, and spices! I have never felt guilty eating any of the delicious things I pick up from here. The parking is sort of a battleground but I appreciate that, it sort of comes with the TJ territory. They have really cute carts for kids and they do a great job of hiding the stuffed animals for the kids to find. My boyfriend's daughter LOVES TJ's like me for that reason alone (I am training her well haha). The very best part about this place is that I've never spent more than $100 and come out with a plethora of food. So it's the Target experience without the Target prices. Oh, and the staff is really nice and approachable and will actually WALK you over to an item that you can't find. That's rare in 2019! read more

Another day, another Trader Joe's. This location is not where I usually shop, so it was a whole new experience, especially with all the safety protocol in place. For starters, patrons were lined up (socially distant with mrkings) along the entryway to the store. I arrived about 40 minutes before closing, and the line was wrapped down along the side of the building. I was afraid I might not make it in before the store closed, but since everyone was so spread out, I was able to get into the store within about 15 minutes. The line was so long that there were no more markers on the ground, but the customers all kept a pretty good distance. There were two people disinfecting the carts and patrolling who could go inside whenever a shopper exited the store. Once inside, the store was fully stocked with everything I needed (except flowers, but it was toward the end of the day). I think this location has a smaller wine selection because it's just a smaller footprint, but they still had exactly the bottle I needed. The aisles at TJ's are so small, so it was hard to keep a safe social distance, but we all got the job done. 90% of patrons were wearing masks. 100%of workers were masked up. I noticed they let people in line until closing time, which I thought was generout! Even though they were far down in line, they didn't turn anyone away until after their hours were officially closed. read more

Dear Trader Joe's Cashier Who Helped Me Yesterday, Thank the dear Lord you did not kill my Blackberry or my devotion to TJ's might have been murdered forever. Let me elaborate and hopefully our fledgling relationship will be salvaged and all will be copacetic once more between TJ's employees and Carrie Neal Land visitation. See, I live in walking distance and often bring my large-size Trader Joe's bag with me when I shop. It does serve as carry-out for my purchases, but it also - this is VERY important- always has Other Stuff in it. Like my wallet, keys, maybe a book, a bottle or cup of water from lunch at say Cafe at Pharr and my Beloved Cell Phone. Usually, I only purchase enough stuff that I'm not bogged down and sometimes I don't put my goodies in that TJ's bag. Or I do a combo. Almost always, the Nice TJ's Cashier(s) ask if I want to use the bag I brought with because they notice I am not carrying any other "purse." I tell you all this because yesterday, when you yanked my bag out of the cart in what I know was a sincere attempt to help, but without asking me if that's what I wanted, you spilled my water cup all over the inside of my bag. All over my Blackberry. Which has no insurance. You also spilled it on my nice leather wallet, two books, a shirt, and my keys and chapstick, which were not as big of a deal. It was all I could do not to flip out, mainly about the phone. Fortunately, you did not kill my phone, but I had a very close call as it went out for a solid 15 minutes and I really did not need that Massive Anxiety Attack. My point: Please ask people if they want to use their TJ's bags. They may not, and they may use them as purses, pool bags, dog-carrying bags, or some other purpose of which you have no idea. Trader Joe's is bae. Before anything else, and not even exaggerating. While Trader Joe's isn't my go-to for produce or meat, it is definitely my favorite for everything else. I made a huge detour during lunch and headed to Trader Joe's for a super cheap lunch after a splurge on cupcakes and coffee. I ended up getting the Porcini Mushroom lasagna, and microwaved it to a hot perfection. It was a little greasy but hey, where can you get a 2.99 mushroom lasagna that tastes like this? Free coffee and free samples of the day. Is there any way to go wrong at Trader Joe's? And no, I'm not getting paid by Trader Joe's to put in a good word. read more

Trader Joe's is just one of those all-time great stores. Their employees are as great as the employees of Publix. Their prices are as low as Food Lion's. There really is no reason not to shop at Trader Joe's if one is near you. I do a lot of stumble bumbling, and I find myself at this Trader Joe's a lot. Make sure you try the Ghost Pepper potato chips. Those are one of my favorites, and exclusive to TJ's. This store in particular has done a great job of operating in our current environment. I like the fact that they insist all customers use a shopping cart to encourage social distancing. It's creative and effective. read more

A Trader Joe's is guaranteed to get around 4 stars unless something is askew, and that's not very often. That said, one senses that Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood wouldn't have a Trader Joe's where anything is askew. And it isn't. Located right on Peachtree Road among high rises and fancy condos, Trader Joe's here is a nice, large store with a rather commodious parking lot around the back. In an area like Buckhead, that will come in very handy. Once inside, it's one of the nicer Trader Joe's stores, though not one of the super nifty new ones. Again, I did say it's nice. And, on top of that, it mixes up Buckhead and Trader Joe's themes quite well and in a humorous way. All the things you've come to love at Trader Joe's are here. And, as with all Trader Joe's, they are sensibly priced. Not only that, the customer service here is not just friendly in that cardboard sort of way, but in a more fun loving, Polynesian shirt wearing sort of way. The people working here seem to be having fun ... or doing a good job pretending. A resident of Buckhead, or one who pretends to be or dreams of being one, can come here and get some bagfuls of groceries ... with handles! Or, if you're in the area and need items on which to nosh - "console food" - then this Trader Joe's will also comes in handy. In summation, your expectations that Buckhead would have a good Trader Joe's will be met and, as a result of that, this particular store is on the very strong end of the 4 star spectrum. read more

I must start off by saying Iris and the manager Katrina are outstanding. I made a call to see if a certain product was available and Iris took immediate action and located my items. She assured me they will be ready when I got to the store. I had the pleasure of meeting both young ladies and they went above and beyond. Katrina informed me of various new item that were deliciuos. Unfortunately one of the item was sold out. She took action and located the buttermilk chicken at another store. The entire staff was friendly. The store was clean and everything was in order. I love this location because it is not as busy as the others and the customer service is outstanding. I would not change a thing. Kudus to the entire staff. I will return. read more

I was in the Buckhead area, so I punched in Trader Joe's into Google Maps and headed over. Each store seems to have a slightly different layout from the next store, so it always takes me a few minutes to get oriented, and there's sometimes lots of going back and forth. But the store isn't huge which makes it a snap to do all that. Items can come and go. I was dismayed that I missed the candy cane Joe-Joe's but my waistline is secretly relieved. I never seem to leave without some funky new product, and this shopping excursion was no exception. Hello seed & bean medley--I am pleased to make your acquaintance. The giant Peruvian Inca corn is currently a fave. However, I didn't find a few things I needed, will have to swing by Publix for those. I went at an off-peak time, and parking was easy and the lines were nonexistent. The cashier was nice and expressed her appreciation for me bagging my own groceries. Love Trader Joe's! read more

While my favorite location is the 1 in Peachtree Corners, GA, I'm always happy with the prices, selection and groceries and the helpfulness, knowledge and friendliness of the TJ's staff. Trader joes is a small chain grocery store that keeps the aisles filled with private label items. Because of this they are able to keep the costs low for all consumers, which i couldn't be happier with. This location always has amazing customer service. The employees are so helpful in helping you find items and even giving you great recommendations. They offer many organic options as well as healthier finds you may not be able to find at a kroger or publix. If you have never been to a Trader Joes you should just give it a walk through.
