Italian foot long

Nothing special about this market/grocery store except the sandwiches! Very long line with slower than molasses workers, with no food prepped beforehand. Waited almost 40 minutes in the long line, it was worth it cause the day before the line was even longer and didn't want wait. They sliced the meat and cheese fresh and put it on the fresh baked bread from a few hours before. Loved that sandwich so much with the chewy bread and ample portions of meat and cheese. Now you know why the lines are so long, but they would be quicker if they did the food prep ahead of time. :-) For sure will be back to get another sandwich when in Atlanta.

I've been a fan of Publix since moving from Florida in mid 2000. This is a downtown store. Parking is pay off street. There may be a garage but I did not see one. It was raining pretty hard when entering street level. It's a short walk downstairs. I came in with friends needing a few items like cheese, wings and chips. Although the store was clean and well organized. I found everything I needed and like that they carry higher quality items. Checkout was very smooth with plenty of staff. Upon exiting a homeless person was camped inside the door with a lot of gear, but not blocking the door. It was raining, but overall not a good policy. I'm mixed on this. 3.5 rounding up.

This is for the hot food and deli meat counters only. Great selection of tasty foods, sort of friendly staff, but they could do much, much better! This is the slowest spot in the world. Time almost stops here as it relates to service. If slow was a rock, this deli counter would be the Great Rock of Gibraltar!!! Only two people in line, the first person had 2 small meat requests. I had only one request. The total time was about 15 minutes! Absolutely ridiculous!!

Inside. Produce section. Bagged vegetables.

This is Publix store #1061 located on the ground level of The Plaza Midtown high-rise condominium block. This is a busy urban Publix in a high-density part of town. Along with serving residents from the numerous condos nearby, it's also one of the main grocery stores Georgia Tech students shop at (it's just a block away from Tech Square). This reminds me of the Publix at Piedmont and North Ave (I used to shop there when I was a Tech student, before this Publix was built) because of how busy it is, its relatively narrow aisles and generally more compact design, and a police/security and homeless/panhandler presence (though I don't think it's as bad here as the Publix at Piedmont). My primary Publix is the Publix at Atlantic Station and I prefer it to the Publix stores in the surrounding neighborhood because it's less crowded, cleaner, feels safer, and parking is incredibly easy on level P2 of the Atlantic Station deck. There's free parking inside the Plaza Midtown deck for this Publix. It can often get tight and trafficky. You can enter the deck via both Peachtree Pl NW and 8th St NW. Like the Atlantic Station Publix, I do like the covered deck parking and entrance to this store. Metered street parking is available too. It's free on Sunday. The main advantage this Publix has over the Publix in Atlantic Station is it has a better selection groceries and more staff. My fiancee likes the wider the selection of food. Also, the pharmacy here has two employees working at a given time compared to Atlantic Station's one (the Atlantic Station Publix is unique in that aspect). Overall, I give this Publix three stars. It's A-OK.

A trip around the world and a walk down memory lane…read more It's been decades since I stepped foot inside the Buford Highway Farmers Market, and being back felt like a beautiful reunion. The last time I walked these aisles, I was with my mama, Donna Theresa. So much has changed since then, yet the soul of this place remains as vibrant as ever. It feels more expansive than I remember. A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. Coming back here wasn't just a grocery trip; it was a win for my palate and my heart. Now that I'm back in the area, you can bet this is becoming a regular stop on my rotation. This market routinely…read moresells old/expiring goods because there's too much sh*t in the store to keep up with inventory (see others' reviews). This is by far this market's biggest drawback. I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I open the fridge a few days later on March 15, finally ready to prepare the tofu, just to see that the exp date on the pack was March 10. This picture was taken March 15 upon this discovery. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

I'm so excited to find this supermarket near me!! I haven't see such a well stocked, super clean,…read moreand internationally diverse grocery store since leaving the Northwest!! Upon entry, the warm smells of steaming sweet potatoes greets you! I think you can buy a bag & snack while you shop! I highly recommend eating BEFORE you go here, or you'll be tempted to buy a little bit of EVERYTHING! All the eastern Asian flavors and popular brands as well as the generics, Latin items, American staples, from fresh to frozen! The fresh seafood and hot deli items was cool. There were people stocking more things while I was there on a mid-Friday. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were around in case I had a question. There are cafe vendors and a dining area past the cashiers. They had Korean BBQ, hot dog on a stick, shave ice, & more. There's even a minimal area offering clothing and Korean skincare! For the kids (& the kid in you), there was an arcade including the Gacha games! Prices weren't outrageous and actually comparable to other international markets. Now that I know where I can get all my childhood delicacies, I'll be coming here often!!

Outside of the grocery side, there is a good size food court section and many cute boutique shops that sell skincare products, cute Asian items and clothing. Friendly service. Price is not any cheaper compare to the east cost Hmart, but quality is consistent. Large shopping center with ample parking. Highly recommend.
