I love this Publix. It is ideally situated for me to stop at on my morning commute. Not my regular shopping spot since I don't live in the city, but my favorite place to stop and pick up a last minute lunch, coffee supplies for work, or a treat for my coworkers. The staff and cashiers are as courteous here as every other Publix locations I have been to. The store never seems to be overshopped and I am always able to find the items I want in stock. First of all I am a huge fan of Publix. I love their take out food. Chicken wings are delicious. All of their salads are yummy. And the bakery is soooo good. Believe me I have tried almost everything. Tonight though I went in there looking for an unusual product. Braggs Liquid Aminos. It's an alternative to soy sauce. Well I checked around the oils, vinegars. Soy sauce section. I found Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar so it looked promising that they would have my item. But nothing, I went over to the service desk and asked. The woman called a young man over and he walked right back to where I had been looking. Then he said wait a minute, he walked to another section... 2 minutes later he came back with Braggs Liquid Aminos in hand. His name was Halil, and I feel he deserves a shout out for knowing where to look. He was so helpful!!! read more

We all go for the sandwiches and don't anybody deny that. Most convenient place for GT students to get to since the Tech Trolley will now stop right in front of the door. Its really hard to get food during lunch/dinner so get it while you can! I am a big fan of their cuban sandwich, toasted. While its not a traditional cuban, (I order it with yellow mustard, swiss cheese and pickles, but I also get lettuce onion tomatoes) I like the flavor. A whole sandwich can easily last you two meals if you are a broke student as well. read more

I always feel safe in this Publix. They make customer's safety a priority. Everytime I enter this supermarket, I always see police presence. This location is smaller compared to others I have seen in the suburbs, but they have all of the popular items. The customer service is polite, speedy, and friendly. The lines move quickly, and the store overall is clean. You will enjoy doing by this location, which has plenty of free covered parking, and is concurrent convenient to 75/85. read more

As a Tech student, this Publix is extremely convenient and well staffed. A trained eye is needed when looking to buy fresh meats or vegetables, but their bakery is excellent! Each time I've been to this Publix I've been addressed with exceptional service. One policy Publix holds to is that if a sale item you want is out of stock, they will sell you a similar items for the same price! read more

This publix is 2 blocks away from where I work and always easy to get in and out of. The best part of this particular one is that, unlike everything else in midtown, it has free parking. Drive down to L1 and enter Publix through the parking deck entrance - super easy. The store isn't massive, so I wouldn't recommend doing your extended shopping here. It is, however, a great place to pick up lunch or grab a few things to make dinner. Check the deli during lunch; they usually have freshly made sushi that isn't too bad. read more

Had a poor experience with the deli today. I stopped by earlier to pick up some groceries and wanted to order something for lunch. I was put off by the typically long line with the lunch crowd, so I opted to place an order via the app and come back an hour later to wait it out. The phone number listed in the confirmation e-mail I received lined up with this location's main line. About 10 minutes after submitting the order, I received two back-to-back phone calls from a random, undocumented number (in retrospect, this was likely an employee's personal cell phone). A quick Google search of the number itself yielded no obvious clues as to the caller's identity. In this day and age of robocalls and cold-calling telemarketers being a normal occurrence, I typically do not answer unknown callers as a matter of policy. Seeing as they opted to not leave a voicemail in either call attempt, I wrote this off as another such call and continued on with my day. I showed up again around pickup time, and after waiting about 10 minutes afterwards, got an employee's attention. Once I briefed them on my order, they claimed they tried to get ahold of me to inform they cannot fulfill my order due to lack of the required ingredients. An inquiry as to why they failed to leave a voicemail, notify the e-mail address on file, or otherwise transactionally raise the issue yielded an unsatisfactory response. No apology, no attempt to placate me as a customer, or make any amends for the inconvenience caused - absolutely nothing. It's like they didn't even care. Bitter and angry about their clear failure to communicate, I told them to cancel my order and just grabbed a boxed meal off the shelf instead. I'll likely be steering clear of this deli going forward. read more

Ok.Ive been waiting a long time just to tell you that they have the Best Damn Apple fritter i ever tasted.Hands down.I go back often just to get this.Although i dont drink coffee,(Except Ice Cold occasionally),i could imagine this going with coffee perfectly.Its not a chain of these stores in midwest yet,but hey.as soon as they open,Run to the Bakery and Get the Fritter.The employees were nice with one girl i thought look nice..Anyway.. the deli is sooooo slow. always a line of 5+ people and seemingly the same number of staff in the back, with only one or two people assisting customers. I've complained to the management here twice yet still nothing has been fixed. seems a pretty simple solution, however. I also requested that they get unsalted, in shell, roasted sunflower seeds for about a year from them and they didn't or weren't able to get them in stock. plus the organic selection in publix really is kind of a joke. read more

Publix. I used to come here all the time when I didn't have a car, since it's right nearby. I do rather like it for a Publix, since it's pretty clean and they have most stuff that I would need. I also really like the little eating area upstairs right by the front entrance, and the garaged parking is great since most places in midtown have null parking. Still, the thing that makes this a 4 despite the prices is the employees; they are ALL really nice and helpful. Literally, I've yet to meet one that was just angry or apathetic, and when I do, I'll change this! Seriously though, the staff is pretty great, and I think they even employ some students from my school which is nice of them. Again, the deli is pretty great too and not as expensive as I'd expect, given Publix is a bit pricey to begin with. read more

When you visit one Publix, you've been to them all. The grocery stores are clean, the staff excel at Customer Service, etc. But at this location, the cashiers were #turntup and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was buying alcohol for my night out and got into a discussion with the cashier regarding her preference. Nuvo, Alize and Hypnotiq made the list. My cashier then detailed that she does not enjoy beer or hard liquor because she gets crazy after a glass or two. Great supermarket with helpful employees. Close to Georgia Tech and always convenient to pick up groceries/snacks/mixers/pub subs before/after a Mac's run. Typical array of seafood and meat display but I have seen occasional offering of king crab which is rare for a publix? The deli is always good. Wished the lines moved faster during the peak lunch and dinner hours. Always seems to be well stocked and fresh offering of groceries. This publix is set a part by the nice employees that seem to have good suggestions and always asking if you need help getting groceries to your car. read more

Conveinent Publix location in Midtown. Located near the Midtown Marta station. This Publix offers a nice inside seating area near the entrance closest to the street. As with all Publix supermarkets the staff were very friendly and eager to help! read more

I'm going to limit my review to their deli section. They have a great selection of Boars Head meats! For those of you who cheap-out at the deli counter - you're really missing out. When you go in, ask them for a sample of their Boars Head Londonport Roast Beef versus the cheap brand. The difference is incredible! On the the hot deli section. This is my go-to place for chicken wings. They are absolutely INCREDIBLE. They're HUGE, plump and perfectly cooked. I hate going to a restaurant and buying 20 wings and I'm still hungry afterwards. With the Publix wings, I can seriously only eat about 8 or so because they're so huge - and I'm a big-boy! They have different flavors and by favs are the BBQ and Oriental. The only thing keeping them from getting 5 stars from me is the service. And I understand we're talking about a grocery store versus a restaurant....but my partner and I, both, have been down-right mistreated when buying wings there on several occasions. But, we suck it up because the wings are great! read more

Never have I had an issue with any Publix I've visited, until today.. I ordered a sandwich online to pick up and came in about 3 minutes past the time it said it should be ready (11:20) and there was one lady making a sandwich for a woman. However, there was about 6 employees there at the deli and they were just standing there having a good time among themselves. One female employee was even eating the chicken from the hot line right behind the counter all the while ignoring the online order and the customer in front of them. I waited until the lady finished making the woman's sandwich and she said "I can help the next customer", didn't even look at me directly even though there was no line and I was the only person in front of her.. I said "I'm your online order", she said "ok", and walked away.. I've seen my ticket hanging there sense I walked up and no one cared. I had to flag another employee down who said to me oh I can make the sandwich for you if you want? It was now going on 15 minutes past the time it was supposed to be ready which means they had hour to make one sandwich.. She started making it while the other employees were laughing, eating, completely ignoring whats going on. She got half way through the sandwich and started asking all the other employees where the vegetables were (spinach, cucumbers, pickles, etc). She asked me if I would want it without any vegetables.. I just asked her to stop making it and I left. As I turned away I saw the vegetables, they were there all along she just didn't think to look through all of the pans to see where they were. At least she stopped and kind of helped in a way? Worst experience I've had in a long time anywhere and I work in Guest Experience for a large professional sports team here in Atlanta and If this were to be happening at a company where I was monitoring the quality of the customer service and the professional discipline of the staff (i.e not eating your own chicken out of the hotbox with your bare hands and eat it in front of the customers) I would want someone to step up and say something so I can make changes for the better. It's the grocery store like no other. First of all they have the most popular public facilities in town. A quiet place where besties can share a private moment. Or two. ;) but even better than Tyger bathrooms is the deli counter a where they stop to greet customers and shake it like a Polaroid picture. Rosary ladies got it going on like what. Produce is meh though. The meat section is full of sexual energy. Piping hot. Oh who am I kidding. it's not the meat. it's the slicers who get me revved up like a Chevy Ford Taurus. I recommend being there always. The hot inventory guys work after school let's out. I recommend going then for a real show. read more

While this Publix is slightly smaller than most, it has a wonderful selection and is organized very well. You don't feel like it's a smaller store once you're inside. It has an entrance off the street, but you'll have to go down some stairs once inside as the store itself is underground; however, there is a parking garage and its entry is on the ground level. This location has a pharmacy, deli, and bakery. Very clean and bright. Very convenient location! read more

LOL. I am writing a review for public because I bought lunch from Publix today. $6.99 for a pound of wings. This is just a warning. If the wings look dry, it is because they are dry. I order the spicy flavored wings previously and it was so dry that drowning it in Blue Cheese did not help at all. I got smart this time. I asked for the wings with the sticky BBQ sauce of it. They were pretty heavily breaded and drenched in BBQ, but at least they were not dry and hard as a rock. Yummy. read more

I use this Publix because it's very easy to walk to from where I live. The employees are generally very friendly and helpful and things are pretty easy to find. However, sometimes the shelves are empty and I often see rotting fruit in the aisles. Also, I've encountered one cashier in particular who does not pay attention at all. I asked for her to split the bill between my roommate and myself, and after she had finished scanning all of our items, a mere two minutes later, she put the entire purchase on my card. Needless to say, I was not at all pleased. Seeing as how I'd have to wait another 2-3 days to receive a refund if she canceled the order and my friend and I swiped both cards, I said it was fine. In terms of service, I would say Atlantic Station's Publix is better. I've only had an employee offer to help me carry out my groceries to my car once, whereas I've had this happen often in the Atlantic Station one. Also, the food selection is much larger at the Atlantic Station Publix and it's constantly stocked. read more

One of my favorite publix being a buckhead resident. I literally could go to Peachtree battle, buckhead, or Atlantic Station but I by pass all of them for this publix. I like that I see management working along side of their employees and everyone pitches in. I get great customer service everytime I go. I've been coming here since 09' and it's like being in the commercial, the older staff members recognize me and when I don't shop there in a while they ask where have I been and how are my children. This publix was seen me through 2 pregnancies and catered to all my weird cravings. This publix has catered my children's parties, friends birthday cakes, and funerals in my family. This publix totally rules! Nothing but good things to say. I'm giving 4 out 5 stars because I had an issue with the pharmacy. I was just released from the hospital from having a baby and had a c-section at that. I was released on a Saturday and I was in serious pain, headed to publix to get my prescription filled, because I never filled there before and I was prescribed a narcotic the pharmacist refused to fill my prescription without speaking to my doctor or his office manager. I had my doctors number and his office managers number and called them so the pharmacist could speak with them. She claimed that could be anyone on the phone, she said people abuse prescription drugs and do fraud so she has to verify. I was like 0_0 are you serious right now?! I provided my state id, passport, and everything matched my prescription. I was so distraught and in pain i said look lady do you want to see my c section wound? Here's my damn new born, who makes this up?! It was so bad that employees was trying to tell her I come there all the time, they even gave me kudos for walking around after having a c section, and was excited to finally see my baby. Dude..... really, like I'm showing my discharge papers, me and my baby still had our hospital bracelets on for Christ's sakes! She refused, even though I pointed out the numbers I called on my phone were showing on my doctors website and his voice mail smh I suffered through intense pain and managed to make it to CVS across from piedmont hospital. I'm a familiar face there as well, got filled with no problem! I wanted to go back to that publix after the percocets kicked in to kick that pharmacists ass for sending me through all those changes. 4 years later and I'm still soured by that experience. This is a relatively clean store with easy to navigate isles and an above average selection of food. The employees at Customer Service, however, usually appear as if they'd rather be watching paint dry. Having prescriptions filled at the pharmacy is normally pain free, but only as long as the pharmacy manager or her second in command are there, otherwise I'd rather watch paint dry. read more

This has to be the best publix that I have ever been in. It was bright, super clean and parking was not a hassle, I expected it to be. I ran in to get a sub.... who knew the variety of cheeses offered! They dont have that at my neigjborhood publix. I mentioned to my bf that I was curious about a cheese, before I could ask any questions, I was offered a sample of the cheese I pointed out. There was a line at the deli but I didnt even mind because everyone was so friendly and entertaining..... at work. I guess its true what they say..... location is everything! read more
