Also shortly after I completed the online process, Kassandra the facility's manager, followed up with a phone call to see if I had any questions and to let me know that she'll have my unit (10x15) ready for the day I move in. She also made my moving out day seamless! Don't do it! This is what happens here.... And often. The other customers we spoke to said it's happened to them multiple times. Once we saw PS would be of no help or had no intention of making improvements to prevent future break ins, we moved out. I always make my payments on time and on-line but today the payment amount reflected an increase without any type of notice. I checked my summary which reflected the correct amount and although I opted to pay the correct amount it still withdrew the incorrect amount from my account. I have yet to hear from a manager and the cost of the small unit has become way to expense. It is definitely over-priced at the rate I am currently paying and absurd for what I was charged and withdrawn from my account today. read more

We had rented from this location years ago . So we came back as we had sold our home in July 2022. Upon getting 2 storage units at this location we had first contacted the office . My husband and I both had contact with Cassandra . Super super nice and friendly all the way up to our move in date in July . We packed our first storage up then we rented a second for all of my husbands garage. While we were filling that storage we notice a storage area ( across from the one we were filling up) with the door rolled up and 2 locks that were cut laying outside of the storage, I looked inside that open storage because it looked weird to me . I had seen some drywall that was broken on the ground and I looked up and it was from the side wall on top . It was a huge hole where there was enough space to crawl through it from the next storage over. We had finished filling up my husbands storage and we then approached Cassandra as she was walking back to the office . I had asked her about that storage as maybe being broken into , and what we had seen in it . She would not answer any questions of mine . She had asked us about 4 times "what did you see " what did you see? This is when her poor attitude started with us . The next time we came in was about a week or so later we had to get some paperwork out of our storage we were there about 15-20 min. Then we drove over to my husbands storage on our way out to just cruise by it to make sure all was good . Then on our way out my husband gets a phone call immediately from Cassandra, she told him that we were loitering on the property and that we need to immediately call the Manager . My myself and my husband had asked her at that time what is this about , she said she would not tell us what it was about only that we need to talk to the manger . She said if we did not contact the manger immediately , she said she had the right to evict us from our 2 storages . At that same time she had told ME that I had no say so in our storage so she no longer wanted to speak to me . She also said that I was not allowed to be on the property without my Husband because he didn't add my name to the contract . We called the manager and it took about 2 days to get in contact . The manager said that we were also loitering per Cassandra . We then explained what happens with the storage area that looked broken into . The manager said the storage was auctioned off and didn't understand why Cassandra didn't just say that instead of what she did by saying the eviction part . The manager was nice about the whole thing so Koodos to her ! Every time , I mean every time after that Cassandra had something to say about how long we were there , where we parked , about our dogs being in our car , my grandson is 14 years old having his shirt off while helping us . This is called harassment as another person had mentioned that she had done to them. On a couple different occasions my husband had notice on the property about 4 guys that looked like gangbangers get out of her car that she was driving and go inside the building and they were coming and going . A side note that I had mentioned to her is : my husband had just had surgery 2 weeks prior to have cancer removed from his bladder and he was getting really stressed out about having our things there while getting harrassed at the same time was not good for his health . She knew this , and I also told her we needed more time at the storage because of this . She didn't care as it seemed and the way we were treated . On our last day that we moved everything around Oct 16 we could not wait to get out of there and also to not spend one more dime there !!!! read more

After said review.. who doesn't see harassment I don't even no if this district manager knows but this is the voicemail left for me at 5:09pm yesterday ... with no time for me to return the call as I was at therapy and I tried to call back right now 11am on Saturday and realized for what... cassandra the lady that has been harassing me has now RETALIATED against me all because of my review. Told me I must vacat by the end of the month with no reason. Is it because she didn't want the truth posted? Who from public storage corporate doesn't see how I'm being harrassed now 12 hours after district manager calls me I haven't even been at storage today Cassandra calls and tells me I need to be out with no explanation! Let's face it: Public Storage sucks.. because they jump up the monthly fee on you so fast that you don't know what hit you. But THAT SAID... this is a great Public Storage. I had my life's goods in two different lockers for over five years... and when it can cametime to clear out all of the poeple from the site manager (Janet) to the district manager (Margaret) were totally helpful, Storage is a scame that sucks you you into a deadly and increasing monthly fee... but that corporate debicle aside, the people that run in are menches... and they will come to your call. I've been renting a storage at this location for about 6 months. Upon initially moving in Cassandra was very friendly and helpful with getting me setup. Now that I am moving out she is just as friendly and informative about the process. She has shown consistency in her great customer service. I did take off a star because my rate has increased slightly since being there. I'm sure that's ok as it is a month to month rental, but I don't think that's cool and has nothing to do with the personnel that work there. read more

They suck you in with a rate {not talking about the $1 moves you in rate but the established set rate per month} then JACK it up after only 6 (SIX) months. They figure you will have to suck it up because its too much work to move all your stuff. Well folks I got a postcard notification and my rate went from $230 to $260 after only 8 months and I bailed. I don't put up with this type of business practice. Janette in particular has been very helpful and accommodating. She not only has answered all my questions but reminds me with time that I need to come in (which is a lifesaver). This place is ridiculously expensive. started off at $192, then they painted the place and prices went up. I do not have a lock protection in my unit and no one willing to help because it is not in the budget. I found out today 8/9/18 that the fees went up now to $313. Talked to the District manager who was not helpful and u willing to work with me regarding the hike price. He told me that due to the booming economy and the minimum wage going up to $15 and hour there was nothing he could do.Do not do business at this location read more

You will need insurance, but make sure it is covered by your own homeowner's or renter's insurance before you purchase theirs or you will have to pay more money. Public storage is a nightmare. They are thieves. They have a fee for everything I was late on my payment and had 3 different fees. I figured I was paying late fee I'd pay in a week when I get paid but MORE fees. I was a month and a half behind ! If it went to 2 months they said they were selling my belongings at auction ! If you value your possessions, do NOT store your items here. It's bad enough that they constantly jack up the rent with absolutely no added value, but when your storage unit keeps getting broken into because they LACK SECURITY, then you know it's time to go elsewhere. Management can't say I'm lying because I've got the police reports to back up my claim. There is NO SECURITY on site. They do NOT have cameras everywhere. Their security is so lax that it's a joke. To make matters worse, they try to make you feel that it's YOUR FAULT. Even though it's obvious when the bolts have been busted off of SEVERAL UNITS, they want you to believe that somehow you, the tenant, are to blame. The only positive are the very nice staff at the front counter. Do yourself a favor, find a garage or independent storage facility that truly cares about the customer. read more
