The people that work the front are always great but I will not be using public storage the company again. I have a moved set for may 3 and not only are they charging me for the full month but also had a 60 dollar "rent increase" for that month So I will be paying 195 for 3 days of a storage unit. Won't rent to you if you share a phone number with anyone or if you get added as an authorized person. No matter how cheap the units are it's unfair and stupid. I was added as an authorized person and a phone number is required and not only did they call me about my mom's unit but I can't get a unit at the same location because her unit went into auction and there's a remaining balance. Also the auction was supposed to cover the costs and yet there's still a remaining balance. I got screwed out of their promotion as well because I had the only working number. They don't go by name they go by phone number. If you switch numbers you also might not be able to get a unit. This location deserves a negative review. read more

Place is fine. Moving in to the temperature controlled area was a nightmare. One door in the corner without lots of parking spots, not enough flat beds or dolly's and nobody in the office to answer questions. After 3 months of being moved in, they notified me of a 26pct price increase- seems like a bait and switch to me. read more

Clean facility for the most part. (Elevator smells like butt) Easy conctactless pick up for unit. This location only has TWO loading carts in lobby. Every time I have been here to move my things in, there are about 2~3 people waiting to use the carts. Might be a good idea to get more carts so there is no bottlenecks. That way we won't have to wait for others that take their sweet time. (No social awareness whatsoever) read more

The 2 ladies on the reception are just amazing and this location is clean. Not all public storage are bad place to store but one really my nightmare! 680 Sheridan blvd is a No! No! Place to go!!!! Booked and received text my space is ok to moved in, when I am there was lock. The next morning we called to verified was still occupied by other rental and they still charged me for that.... I love the convince of being able to open the gates and doors with my phone. The process was fast and easy to rent a unit. My only complaint is that online said I could return the lock yall provided and get a refund if we bring our own locks. But if you are in an inside unit it's mandatory to have and I wish yall discript online that inside storing units its mandatory to have the link you provide. read more

COMPLETE SCAM. I reserved the unit online, when I arrived the unit was not what I had reserved or what I wanted. The guy refused to cancel it and said he would vacate me and I wouldn't get my money back. I specifically told him not to and that I wanted a refund. He did it anyway. There is absolutely no way to get in contact with "corporate". I was charged $51 for a lock that I never received, and an administration fee. This is with me canceling it the same day AND it is advertised as "First months rent is $1" My unit was only supposed to be $37/month. Every thing about this interaction was a bait and switch and completely dishonest. read more

I would not recommend. They offer low rates to start, but continually raise the prices, knowing your stuff is difficult to move or you're deployed overseas and can't move it to a new location. I was in the Middle East with the military and had my rates raised twice, taking my rental from $320 to over $470. They lure you in with below market rates and then raise them to higher than others when you know it's a pain to move your stuff. Go with someone who won't raise your rates once you're moved in. read more

If I could rate this place less than 1 star I would. Their website appears to work but they kept sending my money back and saying that I did not set up a reservation. After going through this process 2 times I was finally able to pay for the unit and did not receive any money back as a refund, so I assumed that meant I would have my unit since I had paid. When I got there they told me that I did not pay and that if I want a unit I would have to pay again even though I showed them the withdrawal from my account. The lady at the desk was very rude and would not issue a refund and told me to come back on a much later date to talk to someone higher up which would defeat the purpose of me needing a unit at all. I never received my money back and did not get the unit in the end. NEVER rent with this place it is a scam and I don't know how they are still in business. read more

These guys are TERRIBLE. Where do I start.... First, when I moved my things in, I got about half my stuff in a somehow there ended being a wasps nest in my unit. I informed the guy at the desk and he gave me a different unit and a can of disinfectant spray to defend myself from the little terrors and told me "good luck". I got stung many times and got set back a day in my moving schedule. At least half the times I need to speak to someone in the office, there was nobody there. I even drive an hour to get to my unit one day, was locked out of the gate and there was nobody around to help me. I lost the key to my lock and was looking for a solution to the problem. Tried calling for four days straight and could not get an answer or a call back. Finally got a hold of someone and they told me they could help if I got there right away. I told them I could be there in 15 minutes. 14 minutes late me I arrived.....and nobody was there. Once I did get in my unit, I found that somehow massive piles of dirt had gotten all over my things since my last visit. I could go on and on and on, but my thumbs are tired from typing. I would give them zero stars if I could, but even that would be too kind of me. -5,000,000 stars. I hate this place read more

I have been unsuccessful in trying to cancel a reservation. I have left two voicemails, called customer service and still no one can help me. It shouldn't be this difficult to cancel a reservation. This will keep me from using Public Storage in the future if communication is this poor. read more

Horrid! I NEVER write bad reviews, however, people need to know what they are getting into. Yeah, they are super friendly at first. Make it really easy to get signed up only to be ripped off every single month. Extremely friendly when looking at a unit and processing the paperwork. Then you spend all this time moving all your things into the unit. I paid on time (autopay) each month to only see my bill go up SIGNIFICANTLY each month after being there 6 months. I started out paying the $1 first month promo to then a normal charge of $110 for a 10X10. To date I am being billed $185 per month. Not only did they increase the monthly rate WITHOUT any notice, the units are filthy. Dirt piled up on the edge of the storage door. Weeds coming up through the cracks. And inside the unit it just builds up because the outside is not kept clean. That so very friendly staff becomes horribly unprofessional and customer service is lost. There is ZERO customer service after you sign your contract. Moving is a huge hassle - especially storage unit things. Do yourself a favor and save your time and your MONEY. Seek storage elsewhere!! read more

The onsite manager is very friendly and helpful and you can be in and out of there very quickly when signing up for a new unit. Public storage just took this location over from storquest and I have my camper is in the covered parking which is labeled uncovered on the website. read more

Cindy the on site manager is such a doll! She helped me get the right size unit, made the paperwork signing super easy, and seems to really love making people's storage needs a much easier task! The price was great, my only complaint is that the access isn't 24/7, but the hours aren't too bad, and after checking a few places out I'd say that inconvenience is worth it for the peace of mind! read more

Yes it's close to home, they keep raising the price, they have cameras, but only at the front gate, and they don't know how to look at the tape, you need a code to enter, but our camper was still broken into and ransacked, we've never heard from anybody at Public Storage, might be time to move. read more

Worst customer service I have every experienced. Our original company was StorQuest who then sold it to these rip off artists. When we rented a 10x25 unit in September, I was told that we were paid up until November 1. I asked the girl 4 times if that was indeed the case. Each time she assured it was. So today ,10/19, I get a call saying my rent is past due. when I told her what I was told I was very rudely told "I see nothing here, I dont know what to tell you and you must pay". If I truly new of this I would have paid on time. This is the second time they have blatantly lied to a customer and then tried to collect. They did the exact same thing to my son a month earlier and each time I have gone in the office someone is complaining of misleading information. After trying to access their corporate website, I know see it must be Public Storage's company policy. You cant access your account without an e-mail and when I request to set up an account so I can pay online, you must keep setting up different e-mail accounts till you find one they can send stuff to. If you try to call, its a $10 fee. This company is a joke, you get to pay them to treat you like dirt. STAY AWAY FROM PUBLIC STORAGE!!!! read more

I rented a storage space for 6 years at this location. The service immediately went downhill once public storage bought out the previous owner and rents escalated frequently. However, I was too lazy to look for a new storage space for my boat. Huge mistake. Fast forward, I along with others were asked to vacate our space due to renovations. I totally understand this request. However, on the day before I was requested off the premises, I received a call from Cindy. She very rudely informed me that I need to vacate the property by 5:00 or she would tow my boat from its current location. I informed her that I planned to move the boat away after work that day. You would think this would be a reasonable request being that I paid for storage through midnight and the facility is open much later than 5:00 pm. Cindy's only response was a very hostile "move your boat by 5:00 or I'm towing it." If you rent from this facility, please understand the level of service and courtesy you will get from Cindy and Public Storage. I will never, ever, ever, ever, rent from a Public Storage location again. For the record, this is the first review I have ever taken the time to write on social media. read more
