So nice and clean is the first ting you notice. I'm so happy that this one had indoor storage…read moreespecially with the weather down here. Decently priced for the area but the associates up front made me rent a unit. it was so nice speaking with Cheryl and Tiffany, they made me feel welcomed.

I would recommend finding another storage option in the area. I have two of their large units that…read morerun $235ish a month and have had an issue every month since I moved my household goods there as we it for our house to be finished. To start, the elevator ‍. You need a code to request the elevator every time. Mind you, you already put a code in to enter the gate, then another code to enter the building, then you need it a third time to request the elevator, over kill and a time waster, especially when you are paying moving companies by the hour. The elevator doesn't have a run/stop switch. Makes it hard to load an elevator moving in or out. If you prop the door open to fill it, it shuts the elevator down and the staff has to come reset it. I ended up switching one of my two units to a first floor unit strictly because of the time it took to do two loads up to the second floor. Issue two. I bought multiple locks from Home Depot so they are keyed the same. On my second month bill, I get a charge for locks from them. I called and said I supplied my own locks. Response was, there wasn't anything they could since I was already charged, but they'd credit me the following month. Good enough for me. Did they do it? Nope. Shows lack of any follow through. Issue three. Today I get a call saying they are overlapping my lock because they are missing a form. They have everything else signed and dated THREE months ago, but today they lock my unit, because they can't find it. Units are paid on auto pay, but one form on just of the units allows them to lock my goods up. Now they hadn't called me to let me know, before this, which is the professional thing to do. Instead, make it so I can't access it, even though the exact same documentation is on the other unit. Issue four. When I set up my units, I did autopay, just so I wouldn't be late or miss it, while we are in transition. They only auto drafted one of the units and I get a late notice with a late fee. I told the lady who I called that everything is autopay and that they took for one of the units, why not the other? Response has been par for the course, "not sure why, but we'll remove the late fee." I'm a huge supporter of local, small business, but in this case, go to the storage unit a block north and avoid this place at all cost. When I asked for a managers number or the owners contact to be emailed to me, since I'm on the road, I got a snarky answer from the lady at the desk and still no contact info. The owner has 5 reviews on here, the two good ones are a form letter response and no response to the negatives. That should give you an idea of the management.

We felt really good about the security and cleanliness of the units (all climate controlled) and the facility overall (the Plano location was only built a couple of years ago and it's super clean). Plus the ease of being able to drive up so close to the units. We worked with Wendy and she's been so kind and helpful and informative through the entire process. I did a lot of research and this place was definitely the right choice. We really appreciated that All Storage had a great intro special but that Wendy was also super up front about what the pricing would be after the special ended. Our close friends had a horrible experience with one of the bigger chain storage places hiking their rent up by insane amounts after the initial first month offer, and that's why we wanted to find a more locally run place. Wendy walked us through everything and went over what we could realistically expect in terms of pricing and it was all very reasonable. She went above and beyond in ways she didn't have to and we really apprecaited it. It ended up being harder than I thought it would be to find a clean, secure, affordable and trustworthy storage place, and so I wanted to make sure to write a review for All Storage in case it can help out someone else who's in the same boat. In short, highly recommend!

This facility is brand new and everything is clean and very EZ to drive up to!…read more The manager, Tressa, is so sweet and friendly. Definitely goes above and beyond with her customer service even when she doesn't need to. I am referring everyone here!

Even calling the corporate customer service number, 866-247-6620, makes it extremely difficult to speak to a live person. That said, please read on because they make everything else easy and automated. 5 stars. Super safe facility, super clean, super easy access using their number keypad. Auto-pay is easy to set up in the app. You bring your own lock which you can get online or at Home Depot, called a "Sliding Diecast Door Cylinder Lock". They have two large rolling carts you can roll outside from your car. You get an 8-digit code so on the gate keypad you press star (*), then your number, then pound (#) to access the gate. Your building keypad, same process. Elevator keypad, same process, then the elevator button will work. You don't need a keypad punch to leave on the elevator or building, but you must enter the exit gate keypad code when you're driving out the back gate. The Public Storage app proximity access didn't work for me consistently at the gate, building or elevator, probably because I have a Verizon dead spot as this 4th Army Drive location up in Frisco is a little out of the way. If you enter the front gate, you must wait and enter your own code -- someone piggybacked into the front gate behind me one time, which was not cool because I was the only one there and this caused me concern. I had to watch and make sure they didn't try to piggyback off of me to enter the building, which they didn't. In any case, I felt safe because they have cameras everywhere. But if someone follows you and piggybacks off you and enters the facility using your code instead of their own code, make sure you call the Property Manager, Josh, at 214-469-1718, because he can see everything on the security cameras and he can address it with the other person. I had trouble reaching a live person at Public Storage to confirm my move-out last week, but the app makes it easy to do all this. Today, Paul called on my move-out day to confirm my unit is empty, clean and unlocked, and to email me the final move-out confirmation with zero balance. I got the email while on the phone with him. I didn't get any pro-rated money back after paying for the full month, with Josh saying "because it's so close to the end of the month". This is in perfect compliance with the rental contract, which states you pay for the full last month, even if you give 7-day notice early in the month and move out mid-month, and won't receive any pro-rated refund: "11.1 You may terminate this Rental Agreement at any time by giving 7 days' written notice to us; however, you must still pay all amounts due (including the full Monthly Rent for your last month of the term)." I would definitely recommend this facility, but their app and website could do a better job providing details like I did above. And management should update their phone number in Google Maps and make it easier to reach them without the phone line just hanging up.
