However when it got down to paying, I realized I needed to see where it was on the property before agreeing. After all, I'm small and going to be handling a storage unit myself and I need it to be accessible for me. I decided to go in the next day instead, though they couldn't promise me the space would still be held. When I arrived there was a sign on the door that the onsite contact was in the facility and to call. Full transparency, I rolled my eyes and dialed the number, thinking I'd be waiting awhile. Stefan answered and came right back to the office. He walked me to the unit and I agreed to reserving it. He was thoughtful in the way he explained everything, patient with my questions (and re-asking the same questions to clarify), and seemed genuinely happy to help. I'm from New York and have seen it all, but this is probably one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with in my entire life. Paul the owner was completely dishonest about their pricing, damaged my stuff, refused to provide a clear estimate or explanation of costs. At one point, he demanded that I sign my bill before an amount was even written in, threatening not to move my belongings unless I signed it blindly. When I balked, he had his people take my stuff, pack it up and they took off in the van holding it hostage. Seriously, like criminals. When I finally agreed to their price and signed, they still refused to return it. The owner Paul is just a really bad dude. Vile. Pure evil. I had to call the police, and my husband had to get on the phone with them to convince them to come back. When they finally did, they had the audacity to charge us for all the extra time wasted during this dispute--even though I had already agreed to the cost. To make matters worse, they added a mysterious "fuel tax" that was just a percentage of the total bill, and when I asked how that was related to fuel, they refused to explain. And they damaged our expensive carpet-they don't care. It looks like a lettuce leaf, totally destroyed. See picture. Sally has done a lot to keep the storage area clean and safe. I used to have Public Storage and U-Haul and there were many hidden fees and charges that were hidden inside the lengthy agreements which they would spring on you later and say "we told you so!" Sally and Sandy took the time to explain the pricing and the fees upfront and in a just way. My experience has been wonderful and the price was excellent.

Tried to contact 4 different numbers Memorial Day - no response. Hit security button - no response. YOU DECIDE. Contacted management following day: "They are working on it and it was a tenant who broke the door." I recommended that a security guard be placed on duty when this type of security breach occurs. USN VET - CC (I pay approx. $183 for unit by auto pay - but obviously I am not getting the security that I THOUGHT ...I am paying for).

The gentlemen that Sam sent for the move were right on time as promised. These guys broke their backs moving my numerous boxes, couch, tv and bedroom set. Every item carefully wrapped and professionally handled. Sam was very professional and very quick to answer my questions and address any concerns regarding my move. Called a few hours later to say they were close to my place and would be there soon. Had to call back again to say it was not my day. I was moving 1 month away. They were sorry. Moving day they did not wrap my furniture and put a 7 inch scratch on my dining table. They left 2 big nuts and bolts laying next to my headboard and I have no idea where they go. They did put plastic around one end of my coffee table because I advised them that the top pulled up so you can eat or work on computer and it slid back down. They must have let it flip open and the screws were stripped and could not be fixed. I was only able to screw in a few screws and cannot use it because I'm afraid it will collapse. My mattress was put on upside down and being 70 it was extremely difficult for me to get it off and flip it. The one guy let me know in conversation that his first day on the job he wore flip flops. My friends were right when they said I should have cancelled them when they were a month early and called again to say they were close. I did tell them that night when I got home from work that I was really concerned about still using them. I do not and would not ever recommend them to anyone.
