I had made a reservation online for a unit at the 8230 N Dale Mabry Hwy. Tampa, FL . When I went to make a payment to register the space I had difficulty making the payment online. I called the office and spoke with Shelly who help me with signing the agreement by phone. She resolved the issued and helped me step by step to get me to the payment section after signing the required documents. She was very patient. read more

Signed on a storage unit today. Overall, no major issues. The facility is clean and well maintained. They have drive up units and climate control units inside the building. The young lady at the office was very nice and completed my lease very quickly. The unit roll up door opened very smoothly, inside unit was clean as well, and the location is convenient. Few things to take note of: 1. They will automatically add their insurance fees with no option to opt out for the first month (1st month is free). Now, If you have your own insurance, you will have to cancel theirs after 1st bill. I guess it's done since they count on clients forgetting to cancel later.. It's just as tricky as auto renewals that I always forget to cancel. 2. Bring your own lock or you will be charged extra - They use a regular pad lock. 3. If you get an indoor unit, DO NOT leave the office before asking for the exact location of your unit, for directions, and which entrance is the closest one. Trust me on that! If not, you'll find yourself lost in a maze, with no signs anywhere and the isles paths makes ZERO sense. There are at least 4 different entrances to this building and I think I walked in and out every single one of them, took multiple different elevators, and moved my car 3 different times trying to locate my unit. It was a great workout for my 72 years old muscles - yes I still have some God bless :) 4. Just as there was no sense with isle path numbers, no sense with the gate code either. Normally storage facilities gate code will be a combination of your unit and last 4 of your phone number. Here it's just a bunch of random numbers so don't lose the sticky note handed from the representative with your code. You will need it for both enter and exit. They really need to have signs on every entrance and inside the building before each isle. They should provide guidance to new clients on how to find their unit as well. They are running an insurance scam where you are forced to take exorbitantly priced insurance at the front end, and then they make the process of removing the insurance nearly impossible. Lisa was unhelpful and was more interested in arguing about how I was wrong rather than actually resolving the issue. I would give zero stars to these con artists if I could. read more

I booked my rental online and received all the info in a text before the next morning. The space was clean as well as the elevator. The office staff were very courteous. I would love to see more overhangs for loading and unloading and building signage. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars read more

This location at 8230 Dale Mabry Hey 33614 - outside area very neat and clean of any debris that people may have left. Inside storage space was very clean. Property well maintained. Security gates pass code required to enter and exit storage areas. Plenty of space to maneuver moving trucks like U-Hauls right up to larger ones. Can pull right up to outside units or right up to the entrance of the claims controlled spaces. The hallways of the climate controlled storage spaces can be a bit tricky but the games lights are motion sensored so at least no fumbling around for a switch. Elevators are right next to the automatic sliding doors but will need your security code each time you want to enter the climate controlled area. Best part they did have great dollies to use like the ones Home Depot had, but smaller what a bonus. By using these dollies I was able to unload one of the 10' U-Haul trucks in 2 and a half to 3 hours by myself (that's unloading the truck and putting it all in the storage space). Staff is great and they do, do walk throughs of the property. I felt safe and secure being there. read more

Avoid. There is no disclosure about the requirement to purchase insurance at an exhorbitant rate, until all the other paperwork has been completed. I did everything (I thought) online in advance, hoping to minimize the time it would take to complete paperwork for my rental, but the associate, although courteous and friendly, clearly was required to drag out the process to try to sell me packing and other materials or services. I later learned that the company is litigating a class-action lawsuit about the insurance requirement, but has not yet changed its ways. I consider this dishonest treatment of customers. read more

We came a few minutes before close and we were helped promptly. Even though we came close to close the property manager still took the time to show us to walk us to the unit and show us the size of the space-this was offered before I even asked. They were awesome in explaining all the details and answering my barrage of questions. Security: -24hr camera monitor -Gate code coming and going -Good area-There are cheaper storage facilities but they are usually not in the best areas -Air controlled units with code for entry into building-there are also outside units but we chose the air controlled ones -Good relationship with the police who will patrol the area -No 24hr access which is good-they close at 9pm which is much more secure than people being able to access the facility at all hours. -All the emergency features (smoke/fire alarm) Other features: -Loading trolleys for use everywhere -Bathrooms -Month by month pay-no contract -Plenty of parking -Water fountains Downside: -We saw a big roach and a little roach near our storage unit (no doubt someone bought them from home : ( So I'm not sure about pest control and what they do about that. -The water fountain in building two wasn't working read more

I was assisted by Betsy and Lisa. They were both very delightful and helpful. Betsy showed me the property and was very nice and easy to talk to, she answered any and all questions I had. Lisa helped me with my paperwork and she was very nice as well and made the paperwork process very easy. Lisa was very relatable and made me laugh the whole time I was there. Overall I had a great experience and I am happy to be storing my belongings here. From when I called to when I actually went into the office I have had a great experience. The property is very clean and the area with the indoor storage units is kept up. The location deserves a five star rating for customer service and up keep of the property! read more

Further, she and a gentleman on staff went out of their way to make my move-in smooth. It was really a great experience. Totally recommend this location. ... Also, while I'm at it, I want to mention a man named Erik at location #08756. His location did not have the storage unit size that I needed and he worked tirelessly to find the space I needed in the general area. I came in expecting to just sign some papers and not really interact with the staff there but they had me rolling on the ground laughing! I don't normally rate places that don't do food or have a waitstaff, but I was blown away by the attention and service I got at this location!
