Getting a storage unit, transferring storage units, moving items from storage units...none of it is…read moreinherently stress-free. There's multiple moving parts, often time constraints, and it's not something I found myself looking forward to taking care of. However, Stefan made my experience seamless and actually...enjoyable. I initially reserved the last unit of the size I'm looking for online and was planning to book by phone. However when it got down to paying, I realized I needed to see where it was on the property before agreeing. After all, I'm small and going to be handling a storage unit myself and I need it to be accessible for me. I decided to go in the next day instead, though they couldn't promise me the space would still be held. When I arrived there was a sign on the door that the onsite contact was in the facility and to call. Full transparency, I rolled my eyes and dialed the number, thinking I'd be waiting awhile. Stefan answered and came right back to the office. He walked me to the unit and I agreed to reserving it. He was thoughtful in the way he explained everything, patient with my questions (and re-asking the same questions to clarify), and seemed genuinely happy to help. He gave me warnings about potential markups as all storage unit facilities end up doing, and shared with me the best times of day to visit the property. He informed me of the differents locks I can use and the benefits of having a unit with Extra Space. Really glad I chose this location!

The storage units are clean and modern. Staff is almost always unavailable on both the customer service phone line and the property management. Restrooms (that we pay for) are always locked and you will never find a staff member to open them. The rates are a flat out lie and they will "market adjust" your unit with a 30% or more increase after 3 months. They do not offer any introductory rates and will be rude when you try to talk to them about billing

She solved our issues and helped us while being very pleasant and thorough. She gets 5 stars! But....we've had a space there for over a year and we noticed that the price had doubled from when we first got it. I looked for notifications in my email of the price increase and couldn't find them. Also, when we were trying to change to a smaller space at the kiosk, the woman whose name I didn't get, was rude and unhelpful. I had found a better price online and she just shut us down and said get on line then but didn't help at all. We tried to find someone there but no one answered the door at the office when they were clearly there. We were able to move our stuff to a smaller space and got the price online, saving us $200 a month with the smaller space but even more with online booking. It feels a bit like a scam, that you just raise the price without making a notice of it. Have more people like Liz working for you and available in person, please!

I stored my belongings here thinking they would be…read morekept safe and in decent condition, but instead, everything I own ended up infested with roaches. When I came back to my unit, I found roaches crawling all over my inside boxes, on furniture, and even in items that were sealed. This wasn't a small issue either, it was a full-blown infestation that clearly had been building up for a while. There is no way this level of problem just appeared overnight. This tells me the facility is not being properly maintained or cleaned, and there's a serious pest control issue that management is either ignoring or not handling effectively. Now I'm stuck dealing with the stress, cost, and emotional toll of trying to clean or replace my belongings. Some things can't even be saved. I trusted this place with everything I own, and they completely failed. I would not recommend storing anything here unless you're okay risking it being ruined
