My storage room was broken into. Somehow the burglars pried the door up despite the lock still being on the door! When I talked to the staff I discovered they had no camera system with which to deter theft! They gave me a one month reduction in rent but soon after raised the rent even more! When I found a less expensive option I moved out but my card on file had just been used to pay the next month's rent. Well, it turns out they had no interest in pro-rating the cost and would not issue a refund for the time remaining in the month. You're better off keeping your valuables elsewhere! read more

3 starts because the manager helping me, Patricia, was lovely and wonderful, but I am reaalllly bugged about how Public Storage dealt with my reservation. Weeks ago, I made a reservation for a unit starting tomorrow, when we are moving out of our home and have to store our belongings while in limbo for 3 months. When I arrived at my check-in appt today, the manager told me that my size unit had been given away. She said that happens with "walk-ins," though I explained to her that I'm not a walk-in--I completed the necessary paperwork online, set up a phone appt, and did everything I was asked to do. Never was there any conversation about me needing to show up in person to reserve my storage unit anymore. Long story short, they offered me another unit. She was unable to complete the reservation on the computer for the same price I would've paid for my 10x18. I had to come back later that afternoon after spending about 45 minutes there. This time there was a line, I waited again, it all worked out in the end but it was another 45 minutes there. Don't wait till moving day to show up. You might not have a unit reserved like you think you do. Or it might take you 1.5 hours to finalize getting a unit reserved. I'm just glad this was scheduled for today instead of tomorrow when we have the movers and truck. :/ read more

I was happy at first with the availability of units and service of this place. But after 5 months they decided to raise the storage another $60 a month. Because they don't give you a contract when you sign up they can raise it at any point. Screw them, don't come here. I recommend somewhere else. I am already looking elsewhere. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT RENT HERE. My storage was broken into and stolen from. The lock was completely ruined and I couldn't get into my storage unit. Nicole told me someone would have to come and cut the door open for me and that it would happen within an hour and they would call me when someone got there. Over an hour went by with no call and I finally called myself when it started getting late. Nicole made no apologies and didn't give me any information about when they would be coming. I obviously wanted to be there to see what was stolen from me. I had to go check myself the next day to find a new lock on the door. When I spoke to Nicole she started being rude to me once I requested a refund and told her I was going to file a claim with insurance. There have been multiple times when I went to the storage and the gate was wide open with people biking around inside. No staff in sight. Where my unit is there are no extra security measures for going in or any cameras inside that area. Very unsafe. The police officer I filed a report with even told me he would never have rented a unit there and I should get my things out immediately. I had a fee added to my account and talked to someone in the customer service office who said that only the manager could waive the fee. When I spoke to her (Her name was Alisha or something that sounds like it) she tried to deny this and I told her I would call the customer service number back and get to the bottom of it, she started speaking to me condescendingly and laughed then hung up on me. read more

My company stored equipment and electronics used for our annual conference. We moved everything around December, the 20th 2015. Less than a week later, the unit was found empty-everything had been stolen. Since this location has no security systems of any sort, there was no footage nor alarms. Avoid at all cost. We lost $35000 worth of equipment. Some staff members were nice but most of them were not really helpful. read more

This place is the absolute worst! They have one person "working" there at all times who is hardly ever in the office, I had scheduled to come meet them and waited over an hour for Carrie who was no where to be found. Despite explaining the importance of registering our storage spaces properly and to the business owner, they registered them to the wrong person and now refuse to let us pay for our storage without that person explicitly on the line, which seems like a scam in itself. If this wasn't absolutely the ONLY storage place with space available, we would have never rented here. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BEWARE!!! read more

Buyer beware. Public Storage advertises a $382 monthly rent for a large storage unit. In the 5th month, the rent goes up 15% to $445 ($63/mo increase after only four months). A year later, the rent goes up another 15% to $521 (another $76/mo increase). If you are late on a payment because your bank makes a mistake and doesn't make the auto pay, they cancel your auto pay privileges, won't reinstate them, charge a one-time late fee of $64.50 and won't take a credit card to bring the account current. On top of that, in my experience, they don't return calls. The people who work in the office are helpful and professional, but they have their hands tied by corporate. read more

Zero stars if I could... This place ripped me off. My locker was "broken" into by the staff at this establishment. Upon losing the key to my first lock, they suggested I leave a spare with them. I later learned that this practice was highly against company policy. After four months of travel and between moves, I come to discover my lock intact, but several items missing from my storage locker. What a surprise! The gate record shows no access with my code, and guess who had the other key? Put two and two together, my friends. If anyone has similar experiences with this, please contact me with an email. Fuck these people! They stole family heirlooms I can't get back, and it's not even about monetary value. Bastards. In the wake of all this, these classless people had the fucking audacity to ask for a positive review on Google. To this day, several weeks later, I'm still pissed about that more than anything. Had an incident at the storage next door (wrote a post about that) so we tried this side. Ashley was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! She helped to find a storage for us very quickly she was polite and courteous the whole time. She called the right people of the company to make sure everything was settled and answered all our questions. It was a hassle that happened next door at the other storage where thw guy didnt bother to try helping until AFTER we were moving out of the storage and i think its only because a higher up called him out. Ashley pulled us in, set us up, got our place, and sealed the deal all in half an hour while calling her district manager for questions and answering all of ours. Shes FANTASTIC. The whole unit was raided! I did not want to come back from vacation to file a police report right away. These are really sentimental things that I can never replace, im so heart broken. We left a spare key with management in case we lost one . I am certain this was an inside job . thousands of dollars worth of stuff broken and stolen . all boxes torn open. I am 27 and dont have too much things and to find that a company does not blink an eye when I ask what happened and tell them how much this stuff means to me, really shows their true character. I rented a storage locker from this facility while I was between houses (sold our last house, working on purchasing a new house). This is a BARE BONES facility - no working light in the unit and only some working lights in the hallways. I knew that there would be no climate control when I rented the unit but I thought It would at least have a light - I had to use a flashlight whenever I was in there! Our unit was on the top floor and there was a big leak in the corner that damaged two items of furniture. Their insurance company gave us about $10 after deductible for damaging our items (they claimed they were too old to be worth much). And rent wasn't cheap. read more

Buy your own cart they should tell you when you sign-up. There is never any carts available the ones they have apparently get stolen. A bum walked in as I was driving out one trip...it was after office hours and I was not comfortable saying anything. I have tried unloading a bunch of stuff three days now; various hours and apparently zero carts now. I don't have help for moving so this is not easy storage. read more

I'd strongly recommend you stay away from this storage place: They use attractive online specials to lure customers in. However, once in the office, management might allege some company policy to decline giving you that special or discount. This exactly is what happened to my friend. My friend was already renting a unit at that PS location. She booked a bigger unit online at some discount. She called that PS location to confirm her booking and to make an appointment with that location's manager to finalize the units' swap. She was told that everything was fine over the phone. But, when she showed up at that location's office a few days later, she was told that she could not take advantage of the discount. When my friend and I asked why she could not benefit from the discount, the manager mentioned some company policy. When we mentioned that no restriction to getting the discount was mentioned anywhere online and that all had been confirmed over the phone, the next thing we knew, the location's manager started shouting at us asking us to leave her office. Then, some man eventually sneaked in the office and threatened us physically asking us to leave. The location's manager and that man even threatened to call the cops!? When my friend called a Public Storage representative to relate this shocking experience, she was told that she had been told incorrect information over the phone and that the location's manager was correct in saying that she could not take advantage of the discount because she was already renting a unit from Public Storage. The representative recommended my friend either call the PS district manager to ask that employees be better trained so as to not give incorrect information over the phone or to call that infamous location's manager to discuss that matter with her again. The representative went on to say that if we had been threatened this was probably because we had threatened the Public Storage's employees?! In any case, Public Storage's specials do not stay special for very long, my friend rented a unit from them for about 1 1/2 year, and, 4 months after originally signing the lease, her rate increased by 17% and again by 12% roughly a year later for a total increase of close to 30% over a single year. All in all, it seems that Public Storage's policies and the way they treat their customers are shady and shameful, to say the least, and, you may very well be much better off renting from another storage company all together, or at least from another PS location, even if the cost is slightly higher. read more

I had a very positive experience so far with Public Storage at this location. I got email notices as a reminder when I was to check into the unit. I also got a call from Carrie, who is very professional & friendly. On my assigned day, Theresa showed me the unit and then Carrie wrapped-up the contract for me, all at a very good rate. The worst! We have had our RV there for many years now and we've had PROBLEMS! First, it was blocked by an abandoned van when we wanted to take it out, but the next 2 things make them extra awful. Our 2 expensive Marine batteries stolen TWICE! And, they cut the wires instead of just unscrewing them and taking them, so that means re-wiring the whole thing. We pay almost $400 a month for this stupid parking space and there are no security cameras. There is a code to get in the gate and I think it's an inside job, someone who works there. These guys know it's there and what is of value. After we got it repaired the last time, we put a lock on the battery box -- they broke right through it. Of course they do nothing about it, no new cameras, no gate code change, nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. We're moving our trailer. read more
