Excellent service and so patient and helpful. I was really not prepared to go through this process but Andrea made it a breeze. Great pricing compared to serveral other storage facilities in the area. I'm a fan! read more

I'd give them ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! Horrible Horrible service!! They never answer their phone defer to an " answering service" NEVER CALL YOU BACK try and charge late fees because of the above, don't process paperwork we drove down and dropped off for auto-pay because the person at the desk said " I dont know how" WORST STORAGE PLACE TO EVER DEAL WITH !! read more

They're ok. The people here are very nice and the location is really convenient - at 92 and 101. It's a little hard to find (behind Taco Bell) unless you are looking for it, but that's all fine. From a price perspective, about the same as other storage locations. HOWEVER, no elevator to get to the 2nd floor storage units? Deal Breaker. read more

I made a reservation the day prior to me having to DRIVE ALL THE WAY to LOS ANGELES AND BACK to the Bay Area. I left at 0430 and left LA right at noon to make it to Budget before they close. They called me to confirm the reservation on my way to LA and I explained the situation and that I would be there today. I arrived at Budget at 5:10 and stood in front of the door for 18 mins for the young dirty blonde girl to come back and ask me what I needed help with. I explained who I was and she said she was closed. I explained I've been standing here for 20 minutes. She said, "Yea. I was out on the property doing stuff." I explained I just drove all the way from LA to make it here in time to get my storage unit which I reserved. Before she opened the office door, she says she already "shut down the system." Wow! Great customer service and an awesome way to avoid work before closing. Just spend the last 30 mins away from the office "doing stuff." I would rather lose their promotional price to pay double elsewhere. Now I have things piled in my hybrid until I find another storage unit. Thanks budget!!! The funny part is I believe \/\/\/Mara R.\/\/\/ is the same person who told me she was doing stuff! So no there's nothing you could ever do for me or to fix the situation. read more

The staff is super accommodating and I feel as if they really want to help. The woman in the office was very helpful today and I am looking forward to doing business with them soon when I move to the area. read more

I just wanted to praise the customer service and professionalism from Beverly Morris. My company rented a storage unit there for me to use about six months ago and she facilitated all the paperwork, helped me get a bigger and better unit than the one I reserved online, recommended me to pay a year in advance because of certain advantages, anyways everything was very easy and professional. Every time you visit the storage facility she is ready to help you with a smile on her face. I am a Happy Customer!! read more

My condo is going through a renovation and you never know how much stuff you have until you have to pack it up. Well, I needed a storage facility. I did a little research and saw Budget Mini Storage is only half mile away from where I live. I also saw a review from a friend of mine giving it a great rating. I don't see her review anymore, so not sure if she is still a customer. Nevertheless, I gave a call and spoke to Kathy. I was in the middle of a knee injury and she was very nice to talk to. I stopped by to check out the facility. Kathy showed me a drive up unit and a second floor unit. Because of my knee, I was leaning (no pun intended) towards a drive up unit. The very next day I went back to seal the deal. Katy was in the office and she is also a very nice person to talk to. She helped me with all questions and concerns. She got the paperwork rolling and even though I had decided on the drive up unit that Kathy showed me, Katy took the time to show me another drive up unit that has a new roll up door. Needless to say, I took that one. Would I recommend Budget Mini Storage...Yes I would. Thank you both Katy and Kathy for your wonderful, professional and courteous work ethic and service. read more

Good option for a value-storage location. Staff is really great - friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Found this place using Google. What really turned me onto this place were the great prices and gate hours. But i was blown away by the customer service. If you need a great local storage place then go see katy and her team! read more

This facility is kind of hiding behind a taco bell on Norfolk, but it's all you really need for a storage! Decently priced, extremely friendly and helpful staff... an elevator would make it a 5-star location, but if you don't mind a little workout, it's not that bad. read more

We love this facility. There's a great selection of floor units, great hours and accessibility, super convenient location, and really friendly staff! read more

Helped a friend move in the area. The property is older but very clean. Good security presence and convenient to the apartment we were moving the stuff from. The gal in the office was very friendly and offered a great deal on the second floor. We won't need the stuff for 5-6 months, so the lack of an elevator was alright considering what we saved on the move in special. The manager checked on us to see if we needed anything. Great customer service and good value. I use storage every once in a while and it's nice to have a place that respects you as a customer. read more

Beverly was precise, welcoming, and fast. I started storing in my unit within minutes of arriving to the location for the first time. The process is automated and transparent. read more

I have never stored anything before, so didn't know where to go, it was a crap shoot for sure! However this facility is well maintained, well managed and the employees are very nice and respectful. I recommend this storage facility without reservations! Darryl-David Diehr read more

Customer service is their #1 priority! An amazing staff, always willing to help; the front office (Beverly, Rachel and others!) are so friendly and helpful. And while this property is a bit older, the facilities are kept clean, and up to date. I rented for 2+ years and security was never an issue; the secure access was always a breeze and never had issues getting to my belongings when I needed to. And...they even offer their customers an on-site dumpster for items you may finally decide to depart with. I would definitely rent from Budget Mini Storage in San Mateo again! read more

We needed a storage facility while we were in the process of selling our condo and moving to a new home. I filled out the online form and received a call back within an hour, went to look at the facility that afternoon, and reserved our unit all in the same day. We only ended up needing the unit for 2 months, but putting in our notice to cancel was also extremely easy via email and a brief phone call. Everyone who we spoke with was very helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future if we need storage space. read more

About a very nice woman named "BEVERLY" !!!!!. We haven't met in person yet..but we've talked over the phone. She went over and above her call of duty..to make this senior lady feel safe. With my storage at Budget since 2003..you can say I'm a well established regular. I don't want to be anywhere else. Feels like HOME. Now if I could build the World's tallest pyramid..I'd place "BEVERLY" ON TOP..WITH HER ARMS OUTSTRETCHED TO THE SKY....That's where " "BEVERLY BELONGS"...She made me and my belongings feel safe and sound..SECURITY FEELS LIKE A WARM..FUZZY BLANKET.( like "BEVERLY")... Excellent service I had to rent a small storage for a month and wanted to check out this storage place before I would signed up. Frankly speaking, I didn't expect much. But once I met the manager and how sincer the manager was, I did signed the space even there is no elevator or cart to transfer my boexes. Overall the storage is simple and small, however it is clean. This was important for me! I have rented a few different storage units before so I know how these storage units like. Until the end of the month, I have gone back to the place a few times and the place is always clean and there is no funky smells like that. Bonus, when I called the office to give my notice before the office was open, I thought I had to leave my message to the voice mail but the answering service was answering my call and I gave my notice in person. I would recommend this storage ! read more

Overcharged and unable to recoup funds. Ground floor unit was near a canal and I sustained mold damage on almost everything, primarily books and media. Manager Beverly was lovely and kind, but this property has undergone changes in ownership and the new company is not tenant-friendly. Keep an eye on rate changes and make sure you are being charged correctly. read more

have been renting here for at least 7 years, gone through a handful of managers current manager Katie she provides good customer service. like the rates although have been rasied recently, but still not too bad, would be better if there was an elevator and the floors upstairs didn't feel like you are going to fall though them. but then I guess the rates would be that much higher read more
