While there were some issues with access at times, overall, the space was clean and the staff helpful. However, potential renters should be aware of the predatory pricing at Public Storage. I initially rented the space at the advertised price of $38/mo. Four months later, it was increased to $51/mo. After another six months, it was raised to $71/mo, at which point, I cleaned out my belongings and closed the space. Never thought someone will broke into our unit along with 6 other units last April. They took almost everything, they only left our Christmas decors. Cameras not working on the corridor and cameras outside doesn't cover the entrace for our units. My husband discovered the bulgary at 1 in the afternoon. The manager doesn't even know that a bulgary took place, it means no rounds was done in the morning. Insurance service sucks, they haven't settled our claim yet. They only send you documents through mails and don't expect you'll get help coz we've been calling them multiple times and left msgs but no response, as well as on emails. We lost too many valuable things(even 4 sparco rims) it's very disappointing! read more

Absolutely not secure! They allow whoever calls in stating they know you add themselves to your account. I found 3 additional numbers added to my account without knowledge of who they belonged to and I found out they had been discussing my account with the person or people connected to the numbers they added to my account without speaking to me to verify. I also found out that whoever there at public storage was engaging in elaborate personal discussions with these people who they added to my account. Your stuff and your account is not safe at Public Storage. The knowledge and security surrounding the services provided are lame at best! And the customer service is incredibly discouraging. NOT SAFE!!!! They probably share what they know of your contents in your unit with anyone and everyone. read more

DO NOT use this location. My unit has been broken into twice. The past week ( December 2019) I have gone to my unit 6 times ... and found the front gate wide open (broken and unable to close) and all doors to the inner units have been destroyed and no longer latch or lock. Safe and Secure? Oh I think not! Also.. during each visit.. I was looking for the on site manager or employee... in over 6 visits at different times of the day.. there is no employee on site!! Open gates... open doors... NO employees on site!! Stay away from this location! I'll be moving my stuff to a secure location soon! read more

This place's manager Dawn is good. However, it is a SUPER NIGHTMARE when Dawn is off. It is said that this place is open till 6pm, when I pay and first sign up. Then when I come in 5:45pm to drop off something, I got YELLED at: "STOP STOP....u can't come in......I HAVE TO LEAVE AT 6pm"........ I also have to beg for someone I paid then to get it...and I managed to drop off my thing and leave the property at 5:55pm. PUBLIC STORAGE, you decide to truly OPEN TILL 6pm, then tell you customer that OPEN TILL 5:45pm and have your employee leave at 6pm sharply. But can you please make sure your customers don't get yelled at????? Don't tell customer you close at 6pm, if your employee have to leave sharply and close BEFORE 6pm. I gave them a first chance for not giving 1 star. Now, I have to definitely give 1 star for sure. Actually 0 star, if I can. The same very RUDE employee called my cell today and told me I have $xx amount due. I told her this is different than what the manager told me and tried to explain. Then the RUDE voice again: "Sir, I am telling you what the computer told me." COMPLETELY IGNORED ME AND KEEP REPEATING WHAT SHE HAVE SAID. UNTIL......finally, I verified with her, my money was not due until the 24th, which is another 18 days (60% of a month). THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS DISTURBANCE. The lady on shift today training another lady. Just to set things straight it was not Dawn, she's great and very polite. Anyway, the other one reprimanded me in the presence of customers. She was rude and spoke over me, cutting me off and walked away with an attitude. It was very odd like customer service and very embarrassing to me. She should have pulled me aside and asked to talk to me in the office or somewhere private. All of this BS due to the facts that I left a medical item there that I use to go to the bathroom. Against the fence. I forgot to put it back in when I left, I agree. So what it's very small and not a problem to anyone else. "Your outside bathrooms are not open for customers". The overall service at this place was great. I never had any issues and Twila was always so nice and friendly. Whenever I had any questions she was there to help. I did not rate this place as a 5 because I only had the unit for 9 months and they went up $30 on the rent 5 months in. Also when I moved in, the elevators weren't working so that was a big hassle for us and when I moved out on the 3rd I still had to pay for the entire month of March. Yesterday 01-18-21. I finally called around trying to find a storage space for a small amount of things and was really stressed out for some reason. When I called P.S I was helped by Kimberly who gave me that 100 % customer service. Every question that I did have she answered and was thorough, clear and pleasantly wanting to help. Needless to say there were no rentals for the size I needed but she offered to look at other properties and found one for me. She ASKED if I would like her to send me their address and phone number and or send MY information to them (which meant I didn't have to ask all the same questions I had been prior calling P.S). She was so helpful that it was a breeze. To top that! The gentleman from the other location called introduced himself as Kyle, (told him I'd remember cause that's my brothers name) He also was very helpful with what I need to know and asked if I preferred not to come into the location to complete the rental and. I could do EVERYTHING on line and if i needed any help he offered me to call him and he would be glad to assist me. He too shared a willingless to help with an honest feel to it and I must say at that point I was eager to complete the app which does allow you to complete EVERYTHING needed. I Drove to the location and just as i was instructed, everything happened just as they said. No problems, no headaches and no contact(corona). I suggest if your in need of some extra space, you should call people who help make life a lil easier, people who do their job and well, DO NOT hesitate or even think twice give P.S. a call. This review is about the quality and integrity of people working at the San Lorenzo facility. Dawn is a honest and first-class person. In a recent mis-delivered expensive shipment of wood working equipment, she took the time to Google the supplier to let them know the package was mis-delivered. The supplier then contacted me with the info. Dawn returned my call and we were able to get the package to me. The package could have gone missing in so many ways - however - Dawn made the right decision to place a call to the right people. Thank you Dawn! read more

This location is pretty good. Units are average and clean .The staff is normally nice and pleasurable..... Now the reason for the three star rating???. So today I arrived to the location at 8:15am. I enter my access code, gate opens, then I proceed to do a quick drop which took no longer then 15 mins. I get to the exit gate and it's not accepting my code. I tried over and over again. Once I realized that the gate was stuck I was pissed. Workers don't come in until 9:30. I waited until another customer came to see if they could let me out but no luck. I had to sit for an hour until a worker came. Once he got there he still wasn't able to open the gate. I had to wait another hour for someone to finally let me out. Luckily I didn't have to work today, but it was still very irritating. They didn't even want to give me a free box read more
