When I got my unit in 2014, 10 years ago, I was told to pick out a lock and leave one key with the property manager. Fast forward to June 2024 I am told they don't have keys and I'd need a locksmith. I decide to try to remove the lock myself first, and buy bolt cutters. I arrive at my unit to find my padlock isn't there and the lock looks different. I call and I am told they haven't changed the locks, and again I'll need to call a locksmith. $250 later a locksmith tells me he was just out the week prior and was told a similar story by that customer.. he drills through the lock, opens my unit, and there's the old lock with my padlock on it in my unit!! They DID change the locks! Wow.. We empty my unit of everything but a TV and table. I had paid the month of June so I had time to remove it. I get a call from the property manager Tish, or Trish, and she says if I'd like, she can leave the dumpster unlocked for me to dispose of those items. Wow, awesome, okay. So we show up and it isn't unlocked. Okay, no biggie. I'll stick to the original plan. So we put the TV and table back in my unit. I call and I'm assured by some guy that I'm paid through June, so I have a week before July to figure it out. The next couple days go by and I'm hit with a $250 abandoned items charge. I log into my account and it shows I no longer have a storage unit. I call and leave a message and no one will call me back. I call customer service, explain all the above, Tish/Trish calls me back and says she's going to have the DM remove it, and it was a misunderstanding on their end. I'm so grateful, and think this is all behind me. Even accept that they threw away the table I planned on keeping. A week later $250 is deducted from my bank... I call and no one calls me back. A few days after that, a months charge hits my bank and all the sudden I have the same storage unit under my public storage account. I have called the property manager probably 15 times. I have called customer service, who by the way, told me they be pissed if this was them. They gave me the district manager's, Jesse, phone number. Who also won't call me back after 3 attempts. We are nearing Aug and I need my money back and this account closed. I need someone to call me back!! I can't go anywhere to speak to anyone in person. This experience has been terrible, and I'm out almost $500, really $740!! I have never been even a day late, and I've never complained. I expect someone to reach out to me. read more

Horrible place to rent or work. Public storage is only about them. They don't care about their customers or employees. Work here if you want to go in a hole and not be able to afford to put food on the table for your family. They expect but never give back. Good luck if you are a renter. I was a tenant since 2015 with (3) units which I finally got down to (1). Prices here go up very often so it was time to go. Public Storage makes you get their insurance and buy their locks. A few years ago they changed the lock mechanism on the entire property so they cut my lock off that I purchased from them and put there's which I posted a pic of. A verbal notice was given to the manager while we were clearing out the last of our items (as she stood in front of the storage). Turns out that they want to charge for another month because we didn't remove our lock. Sorry but that's not our lock that we paid and signed paperwork on. read more

When we originally moved our stuff here, the management was okay. Now, the girl who runs the place doesn't like to work with you nor is she as friendly as Jennifer (the old manager). We're in a damn pandemic, but Public Storage still chose to go up on their fees (why I don't know, because they don't even have a freaking dumpster you can use) and also went up on the late fees (which they didn't mention in the email). Unfortunately, they won't work with you. She will just call and tell you, it has to be paid by a certain date or they'll cut your lock. I can't wait to find a place to stay so I can gtf away from that place. They're just out to nickel and dime people. This is actually one of the worse Public Storages I've seen. read more

She explained carefully each step ensuring that all of my questions and concerns were addressed. There are quite a few storage facilities in this area. If I could give a Zero I would. The lady, who checked me in didn't bother to explain that if we didn't put a lock on same day they would. We are hear to move stuff in and it's locked. Called customer service and he call Gabriel Latero the DM to see if they could help..... guess what the answer was...... what a DM, I thought they were supposed to help. Here we are, sitting here with two trucks and no where to put our stuff because the person in the fine office can't do those job and they can't take a couple of minutes to come out and take the lock off. Extremely poor customer service. If I ran my business this way, I wouldn't have clients. Run as fast as you can. I'm canceling my storage first thing tomorrow, prob won't get a refund either. Mind you it's been 3 days. These people are the worst. Why offer customer service if you can't offer it. I'd like to see Gabriel out here with two loaded trucks and no where to put it, I'm sure he wouldn't be happy with this or the way his front office personnel forget to tell you a vital piece of information.
