We felt really good about the security and cleanliness of the units (all climate controlled) and the facility overall (the Plano location was only built a couple of years ago and it's super clean). Plus the ease of being able to drive up so close to the units. We worked with Wendy and she's been so kind and helpful and informative through the entire process. I did a lot of research and this place was definitely the right choice. We really appreciated that All Storage had a great intro special but that Wendy was also super up front about what the pricing would be after the special ended. Our close friends had a horrible experience with one of the bigger chain storage places hiking their rent up by insane amounts after the initial first month offer, and that's why we wanted to find a more locally run place. Wendy walked us through everything and went over what we could realistically expect in terms of pricing and it was all very reasonable. She went above and beyond in ways she didn't have to and we really apprecaited it. It ended up being harder than I thought it would be to find a clean, secure, affordable and trustworthy storage place, and so I wanted to make sure to write a review for All Storage in case it can help out someone else who's in the same boat. So why am I giving this a five star? Kim and Greg. Kim and Greg went above and beyond in helping us move out of the unit. They really came through when we needed them. They would definitely be justification to go to this Public Storage location. I don't know what they're getting paid, but they deserve at least double that.

I've been to the Willow Bend location several times over the course of the years whenever I needed…read moresupplies to pack things up and store them. This was the first time I needed a hitch and trailer service from UHaul. While there was a missed step for a part to install, the team there helped me locate the missing part and quickly and effectively installed the hitch and had the van trailer reserved ready to go! They did everything RIGHT! My entire experience from start to finish with the GM and the staff (full time AND part time!) were so very helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. I placed online orders to rent a van for 4 hours and a dolly from Uhaul but after picking up the…read morevan, I was informed that they rented out the dolly I'd reserved to someone else. The man at the front desk tried to call around to the neighboring Uhaul to see if they had any dollys available but none were. All of this was incredibly time consuming after standing in line for a long time. This incident ended up ruining my moving experience. After the store was unable to resolve my issue I messaged Anthony Summerfield the Uhaul General Manager but he replied with a very unhelpful response. This is the worst service I've ever had from any business during a move. Stay away from this company, Anthony Summerfield does not value his customers as you can see in the screenshots!

They are very helpful and mindful. I live a very busy life, as most of us do, and sometimes I…read moreforget to pay (which should be an easy, fix, right? I mean, autopay), but I do not like autopay, never have, and I choose to pay my way. Well, when I forget "my way", guess what they do (so I don't lose my stored items)? They call me. They remind me that I haven't paid and they don't do it in a rude way. It's almost like being in a relationship with a forgetful person. The one person nudges the other and says, "hey, did you pay? Yeah, you're due. Don't worry, we're just reminding you to do it." I like that. It's not common in this day and age of a**holes. Now, the rates have gone up (and I will call about that), but that's an easy call to find out why. John has always been tremendously helpful, for me, when I forget things, like my code or anything else that eludes me. Look, many other places would just toss your things out and be all kinds of rude to you. I mean, empathy is like a dirty word with most companies and I haven't felt that way with Public Storage. Are they perfect? No. There have been times I've tried to contact them and had no luck and, again, the rate change that I don't remember anyone telling me about or getting information about, but again, when you do follow up, or at least in my experience, I always get an explanation. In the end, it's my choice to stay or go, right? If the rates continue to rise or if John or the other lady change jobs and I get a bunch of crazies in the office, then I WILL go and be very HONEST about it on Yelp. Until then, I'm alright. They are doing me a favor - keeping my things safe until it's time for me to go. Thank you, John, and everyone else there at Public Storage. You have been really cool to me. And my stuff.

He walked me through the process, answered every question with patience, and even helped me find the best unit for my needs--not just the most expensive one. You can tell he actually cares about the people who walk through that door. Smooth experience all around, and Alex made it even better.
