I anticipated the storage unit to be clean, safe and dry, which it was. What I did not expect was the incredibly kind service I received from Heather (the manger) during the check in process. What a wonderful surprise to get 5 star service at a storage chain. I give this facility my highest recommendation, especially Heather. read more

I've been alright with this Storage group for awhile... but I'm about done. 2 weeks ago I got notice that my 6.5 x 10 unit was going up to $175 a month. The same unit is $132 to start fresh. Now? I receive a letter stating that the gate hours will now CLOSE AT SIX PM!! Well that's just about freaking useless for those of us with JOBS. I am barely back to Concord by 5:30 most days, God forbid I go home to change OUT of work clothes first if I need to grab something. So looking forward to getting my belongings out of this situation. read more

Very displeased. When I walked in the first thing the representative said was "it's going to be a while boss." Now, I understand calling people boss when you're in prison - but that's not where we were. Second, after hounding me for days to come in right away for my "appointment" it took them almost a half hour before they got to me. Mr. Boss guy asked me three times if my driver license information was current. Okay, how much have you smoked today? Then when I asked about how often they have break ins, the response is "we had a rash of them for a while. It's slowed down." When I asked if the thieves emptied the units with large furniture he replies, "how would I know?" I was already uncomfortable but I needed the unit so I continued on with the transaction. That was until they told me I was mandated to buy insurance from them in order to store my sofa. What!? I'm insuring a sofa? I have to buy your insurance? I don't think so. Ever get the feeling that something isn't right? Yeah. That's the feeling I left with. And when I left I left without a storage unit. read more

This is a very hot place at the summer time and staff works here are rude and rushing people if you go close to 6pm so make sure before you get a storage that fit for your time read more

Arrived there today and discovered that my car's window was smashed. Glass on the ground, too. Management didn't notice anything unusual. So much for their walk throughs. Barbed wire on their fence is missing in several locations along the perimeter fencing. Rates keep going up for "maintenance". Really? (I have stored my car there on and off for five years. No problems until two months ago. Someone stole one of my windshield wipers. Same to the car next to mine.) read more

I just went to access my unit and realized that the gate hours are 930am to 6pm. Like everyone else's mentioning in their reviews they are having security issues outside office hours. Funny thing is they said they have a security guard when no one is in the office. Sounds like your solution would be to fire your security guard and not restrict hours when people are less likely to access their units. Can't wait to get my stuff out of here. read more

Lost my keys here, not their fault. So far so good up in this hood is what I would say........

The staff has been pleasant. Access is relatively easy. The only problem is that mice have gotten into my unit, and soiled any cloth items and end of boxes that they could get into. Some clothing and sheets in boxes was soiled/ruined and faded with mice feces. If you store here, make certain that you don't put any thing that can be used on the floor or corners. Also the specials are only good for a few months, so if you are going to store here, be prepared for increases. I have not been here a year, and there have been two. read more

They raise the rent every time you turn around...it's ridiculous. You ask for a smaller storage and they tell you it is going to be the same price you are already paying. It's a rip off if you ask me and I have stored my stuff for a couple of years now. Can't wait to be done with it. read more

My experience has been great. The onsite staff was very helpful from the onset. I called and explained what I needed. They set me up with a reasonably priced unit. To top it off the location is quite close to me. I definitely recommend using them. read more

I am giving this place a 5 rating only because of Kristen, a responsible and a great manager. One night around 7pm I noticed the Lock assembly was broken duo to rusting and I had no way of locking my unit! My business partner was able to get a hold on Kristen and she showed up within minutes with her husband and their baby in the car and she and her husband worked for three hours and applied a solid temporary fix to my unit which a week later got replaced by an authorized vendor. Thanks Kristen! read more

I am a first time storage user, so I did not know what to expect. The attendant (Haley) was very professional, and patiently showed all of the different units I asked to see. She was knowledgeable, answered all questions, and provided a seamless experience. The Buchanan Circle location fits my needs distance-wise, however, the shortened access hours (9:30a to about 6p?!) pose a major inconvenience. I've considered moving my items to a different location so as not to have to wait until the weekend to visit. Some of the previous reviewers have me feeling nervous about theft, but it looks like they recently changed doors/locks and whatnot before I moved in. So far things have been ok. read more

Have not stored things in years. I feel my personal belongings are safe and managed well at this site. Always CLEAN, Kristen is organized and personal. I feel comfortable in dealing with this storage location. Well done, folks! read more

I've been looking for a storage space for a few weeks and finally went in to public storage. I received help from Kristen. She was great unlike the other places. She was very knowledgable and found the right size for me. I definitely recommend this place to anyone! read more

I read some of the reviews here, but I have to say that my experience has been nothing but good so far. I appreciate the good customer service they provide and I've had no problems or issues arise. Great place! read more

The ladies who work at this location were great, but whoever sold me the "$1 for the first month" package on the phone forgot to mention the mandatory insurance, and fees. Ended up paying $55 for the month. Flagrant false advertising. I will never recommend this company. read more

Kristen and Kevin I have known for the last 5 years at W.C.Public Storage. When they moved to Pacheco I thought I would not see them. When business took me to pacheco I found them there along with Amber. What a great group. Very helpful in taking care of my storage and moving needs. They answered all my questions and saved me a lot of money with their expertise! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the process of moving or storage. Simitz read more

Clean, reliable staff. All round great property, great location.

Everything was going well until I got a notice a few weeks ago of a 28% increase in my storage fee. Then about 2 weeks after that I get a notice the property access hours are being changed from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday to 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is ridiculous. Why did they do this? Is it because they have had security issues outside of office hours and they have a lousy security system? I transferred my stuff over there from Security Public Storage in Martinez because it was a better deal and I needed to save some money. Now I'm sorry I did. They enticed me with a cheaper rate and then shot the rate up 28% and decreased the access hours to a time frame that makes my stuff inaccessible to me during the week due to my work hours. Security Public Storage in Martinez is a much nicer facility, a more secure facility, it's in a much safer area, and every storage unit is individually alarmed. The storage units at Public Storage on Buchannan are not individually alarmed. read more

I chose them because of advertised prices being lower than others in the area. I only needed the smallest unit possible, and they have a 3X4. The advertized price per month is $55 (though in October, when I was searching it said $43, with an undisclosed $11 minimum for insurance which you found out about upon calling). So okay, it's $55/month. Supposedly you get the first month for $1. Hahaha. Stupid sucker!! For the first month being $1, we ended up being charged $75.52. How? I still don't know, and I'm trying to figure it out. We live in New York, but have some stuff a friend could no longer store for us, so we asked her to rent the unit. Again, what we were told was that even though they advertise the $1 for the first month, total move in cost would be $23 ($1 for first month plus a one time $22 fee). Of course, let's not forget those one time fees! Then when our friend showed up to rent the unit they charged her a mandatory $20 for a lock. So now we are at $43....but still not even close to $75.52, which we ended up paying. I feel that this is a completely dishonest operation, avoid them if you can. After you find out about the insurance costs, and as a matter of fact with their amended prices now published on their website, they are really not any cheaper than other places in that area. read more

Once you rent a storage here you are stuck with it, even if you dont use it and only rented it the day before, no refunds at this place........ read more

Went in to rent. The staff here is excellent. Looked at a unit wasnt quite what I was looking for as far as size but the ladies that helped me were very helpful. I did decide to look at another location but definitely a pleasant experience! read more

Was transferring units the other day and was assisted by the girl working there she was very helpful and made the process clear and easy for me! This is the type of customer service that keeps me renting here! Nicole definitely gave 10/10 service for me! read more

The new security issues are a problem for some. The new manager is strict, but fair. I know he is protecting my stuff. Thanks.

I've been renting here for a very long time, prices are always reasonable. I had the pleasure of using public storage number 22307 and l found the folks here to be very helpful professionals. This particular employee named Allysa is always exceptionally helpful and has a very sweet personality. She gets my 5 Stars! read more

My mom and I recently had to move out of our house and needed a place to put our belongings. I rented a storage unit at this facility on s. Buchanan circle in pacheco. I was helped by Christopher and Jeff. They were both super friendly and very knowledgeable. They made me feel like they wanted my business. The property was very clean and the office looked very organized. I will recommend this location to friends that need storage. read more

Please please please please avoid public storage. They are horrible I was lied to! They told me they had camras, on site managers/ property managers that do their jobs in making sure everything is safe. They talked me into buying one of their locks, saying that I can't get anything better. It is the #1 lock (it looked secure). I was gone for 4 months, I showed up to get the stuff out of my storage unit to move all way across country to Virginia. When my husband opened our storage unit, everything was gone! everything was brand new! still in the boxes, our wedding gifts, Christmas gift, band new couch, dinning room table and chairs, everything was gone! How could they not notice that someone was in someone else's storage unit taking everything! I owned this unit for a year! These people knew mine and my husbands face. When I ask them for the time login to view and their cameras, they told me that their time log doesn't go back that far and that their cameras were just updated, so they don't go back that far as well. The Insurance company doesn't want to cover me because they say that they only cover burglary which is forced entry and my lock(that I bought from Public Storage) wasn't damaged because it was picked they will not cover me. That is over $3,000 almost 4,000 gone just like that the Public Storage won't help me, the insurance company won't help me and now everything my husband and I own is gone. It's like I was rapped and violated and nobody's helping me to get my stuff back. Public Storage won't do anything about their fault cloks and they won't stop selling them so that this won't happen to anyone else. The insurance company won't cover me. So I'm fucked and now I have to take this to small claims court. So please before you sign an agreement with a storage unit (public storage)(mine was 150 south Buchanan Pacheco Ca unit 32) please do not buy one of their locks and please make sure and make them prove to you that they have cameras surrounding the units. Kristen and Kevin Schulte are horrible people and deserve to lose their jobs. (This was probably and inside job done by them). read more

This has to be one of the worst storage places there could possibly be. I have had my storage for three months, its inside a hallway and the light doesn't work. I have complained to the staff and manager MULTIPLE times with the same response a typical idiot would give, "Sorry about that we'll look into that when we have the chance." So when I go into my storage I have to use one hand to use my flash light. Next I would like to emphasize the pro rate bullshit public storage uses. I downsized my unit because I had less items, when I got the smaller unit I didn't finish turning the first one in for 5 days. They pro rated the amount I owed them which is completely fine and understandable. However, when you change the hours from 6am to 9:30 am THAT. IS. THREE. AND. A. HALF. HOURS. Not to mention it closes at 5:30pm Monday-Friday. DO I GET TO PRO RATE THE HOURS YOU TOOK FROM ME? Now it is impossible to even have the time to remove my belongings. This place is ran by idiots and I HIGHLY recommend NOBODY wastes their money here. AND THE PEOPLE INSIDE SIT ON THERE ASSES AND DON'T EVEN WATCH THE SECURITY CAMERAS. I WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS. read more
