This contradicts Reliant's claims about secure, individualized access and raises legitimate questions about how many units under their management are actually vulnerable due to internal access. I was also informed by a manager that the facility was equipped with 'hidden cameras,' which I later confirmed did not exist. This type of misinformation is not only unprofessional--it is dangerous and misleading for customers who rely on the company's representations when choosing a storage provider. After discovering missing property from my unit, I submitted photos, communication records, timestamps, and a police incident report. Paul and Wendy are nice people, but we were there for over 5 years, at a cost of over $3000 for the…read moretime period. The place flooded, wood table, wicker furniture, antique drafting table, an $800 custom rug, all ruined with heavy mold and water damage. The only response was "You should have bought the insurance." The leak was from the back wall structure on the floor, from the water line on the cardboard boxes, it was at least 3 inches of water. Do I know now you need insurance? Sure. But my point is the structure of the cinder block building leaked. I realize legally they can get away with this. But I think it is the responsibility of the service providor to maintain the integrity of the structure. They get a free pass, does not seem fair. Final digs? I could not even use the on-site dumpster, so I had to wrap the inside of my car to haul all the molded items out for disposal. Be very careful what you put in this place!
